WINNING MONOPOLY IS BETTER than anything in the world. Better than books, love, free food, or sex."

Humming at my words he shakes the dices in his hand, "I don't know if it's better than sex." he trails off, getting his numbers he starts moving his Micky Mouse statue to the next spot.

"Definitely is." I deny, watching him stop on my box, "I will give you the free food, it is that good."

Stopping, I look up at him to see him already looking, "Nothing in this world does not compare to owning the board, seeing the hope leave your opponents eyes." I say slowly.

"You're crazy." he says, holding the dices up for me. Making a chuckle leave my lips, "That's not working. Pay up, pretty boy." I say, knowing I own the board and he is running out.

Throwing his body back to the floor, he groans, "I give up. Double baltic, I'm broke." he confesses. Grinning I stand up, "I win, you lose. I'm the best." I call out dancing happily around, before sitting down again.

Grinning at the pouting boy, "Next time I will win." he mumbles. Humming unconvinced you nod at his words, "Sure, we can always dream."

"Do I get an apology prize?"

Humming I lean over the table, "Sure." placing a soft kiss on his lips. Pulling away he has a smile on his face, "We are not dating." I remind him, not sure why I felt like I needed to say it but the look on his face made me want to.

"Okay," he nods, "but we can do this, right?" he asks leaning back in, kissing my lip, causing a smile to tuck on my lips, "I guess so." I mumble

Wrapping the game up I take the monopoly box with me, knowing Blair will have my head if I bring it to his place and do not bring it back home. Especially after her telling me we should just play it at our home. But who wants that when she has her minions— I mean, study buddies, there?

"I will miss you."

"Do you now?" I ask. Nodding, he leans closer, letting our lips touch again. Pecking his lips several times before leaving him with a grin, "Don't you know?" Chuck asks his brother, "Know what?"

"She has a boyfriend."

Seeing the boy in the hallway, I smile. Looking back, he doesn't smile, his facial expression doesn't even change. Moving into the crowd of students makes it very clear that he's avoiding me, "He doesn't reply to my text, doesn't returns my calls either. I have ran out of things to do."

Making B sigh as she turns to me, "Just forget that Bass-terd and I'll help you find a proper boyfriend." she tells me.

Catching on to my hesitation, she takes my hands in hers, "You said you wanted to leave Tommy in the summer. News flash, it's not summer anymore."

"Whatever." I sigh. Making the brunette squeak, rolling my eyes amused at the girl. Taking my bag, needing to clear my head with a walk around the block.

"Lolita."

Hearing the familiar voice, my body freezes down while a heat rushes to my cheeks, "C-Carter, hey." I stutter.

Continue the conversation, I can't stop stuttering — why does he make me so nervous? — making him smirk, which didn't go unnoticed, "Why is she talking to him?" Tom questions, glaring at the scene he glances back at his friends, "Carter is her perfect man." Chuck informs his brother, who just looks confused.

"He was her first kiss."

"Your first kiss was with Carter Baizen." Tom says suddenly, "Who told you that?" I ask confused, "Nate. I needed to hear it from Nate." he tells me. Humming I look away, "Who cares?" I ask him, "I care. We have been together the entire summer, and that never came up."

"It wasn't necessary."

"It is to me."

Turning back to him, I fold my arms, "Do I need to remind you that we aren't dating?" I ask him, "Because we aren't. So, I'm not needed to have the awkward ex's conversation with you." I tell him.

"You two dated?" he asks. Rolling my eyes at him only hearing that part, I sigh, "For a couple of months. Before he traded his life here for a fanny pack and backpacked around Europe."

"Besides, weren't you ignoring me?"

Not getting a response to my claim, I shake my head, "Okay then..." I trail off, closing my locker.

Hearing the news that Nate wants to be in Carters' inner circle, I walk to them, "Lolita, calm down." Baizen tries, "Calm down? You're trying to rip Nate off."

Seeing how angry I am, he tries to make it better by touching me. Which earns him a slap in the face, which didn't do anything but make him laugh, "You always liked it rough." he grins.

Holding his collar, I pull the blue-eyed boy closer, "Nate and I might not be on good terms, but hurt one hair on his head. I will end you, Baizen."

Nodding, he swallows thickly, "Got it." he tells me. Letting the boy go, I continue to walk down the street. Glancing back at Carter before, turning the corner. Ringing the fawn haired boy, he picks up after a couple rings, "Whatever you do; do not trust Carter." I blurt out as soon as he picks up.

"Why does everyone hate him?" Nate questions — sounding a bit annoyed, "Nate, I know him better than anyone. And I can tell you, Carter is not to be trusted."

Continuing the conversation I feel like I actually got through to him. Arriving home, huffing I take a seat at the kitchen island, "Bad night?" familiar voice asks. Looking up I smile softly at the woman, "Can't imagine."

Opening the freezer she takes out a pine of ice-cream, "Rocky road is still your favourite, right?" she asks. Nodding, I smile at how she remembered, "Yeah." I nod taking the spoon from her.

Talking the night away I finish the tub, "Let's get you into bed." she says leading me up to my room. Tucking me in, "Thank you." I whisper. Caressing my cheek, she smiles softly, "I had fun tonight." she tells me.

"Me too, it got my mind off... A lot of drama." kissing the top of my head, she stands up, closing my eyes I take a deep breath. Slowly falling asleep. Only to be shaken awake by Blair the next morning, "How would you like making fun of a skinny bitch?"

Chuckling softly at the grin on her face, I nod, "Why, not." going over there we find Serena taking pictures on her own. Revealing that she is the 'skinny bitch' we would be making fun of, "You got to be kidding me."

"What took you so long?" S asks waving her arm as B turns on her heel. Leaving the scene, "Why am I mad? Why aren't I furious!" B screams as they continue to fight.

As my phone rings, trying to find it in my small purse — which is surprisingly hard — glancing at the ID, I bite my lip, "Take it."

Nodding I quickly run up the stairs taking the call, "The bitch stole my shit." Chuck starts. Making my brows furrow, "What?"

"Carter fucking Baizen."

"I told Nate to not trust him." I groan annoyed, "Where is he?" I ask, holding my hair in frustration, "Five Stars, Queens." Charles informs me, "Meet me there."

Walking down the stairs, Serena stands alone, "She left." S tells me, "I..." I trail off, "Go find her." she sighs cutting me off.

Nodding I move passed her, trying to find my best friend, "There is a mess, and I need to fix it." I tell B. Where she nods too, "Go." she in courageous.

"What are you doing?"

Pulling the girl with me, I hail a cab, "You are the sneakiest bitch I know and that's exactly what I need." I tell her, "Just like that A in PE."

"Exactly like that."
