𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬, 𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 / 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, (𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐲) , 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬. 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐨, 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞

𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙫𝙚 -

𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜

— 𝐀𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃, 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐈𝐌, 𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐃.

Why was he? He should've known ever since last year when Peter came along shit was gonna happen. He would've never expected to see someone he cared for so deeply end up dead at his feet.

He stood there, shocked, or the events that happened moments before. But he couldn't do anything because wormtail was rising him against the grave of Voldemorts father.

"Do it! Now!" The little Voldy bitch spoke

Just as he threw Voldemort in a voice shouted, "NOO, you bitch!" They shouted..

Harry was pleased to see his sister alive, which meant that.. Cedric sacrificed himself. Even though he had a family. A sibling who couldn't live without him. He would never speak to Willow again, that last conversation they had, was their last conversation forever. They didn't even know, and they're only about to lose more.

They'd never hear his laugh, see his smile, hear his voice, hear him call them his 'munchkin' as he did so much. They loved it every time. They'd never see his eye light up again, his face, nothing. He was gone, and they didn't even know it yet. 

But Peter ignored her.

"Bone of the father, unwilling given" Peter said, dropping it into the cauldron (is it James bone or toms dads bone? I don't know)

"Flesh of the servant, willing given"

Hazel yelled as he cut off his hand, it plopping into the mixture.

"And blood of the enemy" he said, running over to Hazel, but it was too late, he already struck her with his knife, her hand bleeding, as he flicked it into the mixture.

Finally the same for Harry. And finally, the Dark lord returned (no not finally)

"The dark lord shall rise again!"

Hazel and Harry watched in disgust as a baby's rotting embryo became slowly, but it did, a human ish- man? He had fish scales for a nose?

It was disgusting, slimy, and gruesome. Hazel ran beside Harry just before the Dark Lord fully became human (ish) again. 

His long disgusting toenails 🤮🤮🤮

"My wand, wormtail"

He grabbed his wand, and then gave wormtail the dark mark, though he was hoping for a hand to replace the one he lost.

Now deatheaters came swarming in.

He greeted them, so let's skip the dilly dally

"Not one of you tied to find me"

"Crabbe! McNair! Goyle!" He said while ripping off their masks

"Not even you, Lucius" 

Then Lucius made this excuse or whatever about if he had detected any sign or whisper of his whereabouts he'd find him blah blah blah 

"There signs my slippery friend, more than whispers" Voldy responded 

" I returned" Peter raised his hand, then shuttered when Voldy came forward 

"Out of fear, not loyalty. But, still, you have proven yourself worthy these past few months, wormtail" and so then he got a medal hand to replace the one he sacrificed 

He walked over to Cedric, and out his ugly disgusting foot on this face, HOW DARE HE

"Oh, such a handsome boy, the brother of Severus daughter, am I right?" Severus knew the dark lord knew about Willow, and he pleaded him to leave them alone, and luckily, he has. So far. They're one of the people on the killing list. One of five.

"Don't touch him!" Hazel yelled

"Ah, Hazel, I have never seen you before, I thought you were a myth." He laughed, "but here we are"

"And Harry! I forgot you were here too. standing on the bones of my father. I'd introduce you but word has it, you're almost as famous as me these days"He said, "They boy who lived"

"How lies have fed your legend, Harry. Shall I reveal what really happened that night 13 years ago? Shall I divulge how I truly lost my powers? It was love. You see, when dear, sweet Lily Potter gave her life for her son, she provided the ultimate protection. Of course James was giving his life for his daughter but unfortunately she wandered off away." He continued, "I could not touch him. It was old magic, something I should've foreseen. but no matter, things have changed"

"I can touch you now"

As he did, right on Harry's scar, Harry screamed, loudly, as Voldy cackled.

"Astonishing what a few drops of your blood will do, eh, Harry? And your sister who I was just about to get to"

He then told them to pick up their wands, then he proceeded to force them to bow to him.

He used the cruccio curse on Harry.

"Im going to kill you, both of you. Im going to destroy you. After tonight, no one will ever again question my powers"

Harry and Hazel hid behind stone, as after Voldy used his hands to rise them from the ground.

"Don't you turn your backs on me Potters!" He shouted, "I want you to look at me as I kill you! I want to see the light leave your eyes!" (Damn bro you ok?)

They walked in front of him. Scared as fuck.

"Have it your way"

"Avadea Kedevra!" He pointed at Hazel but Harry jumped in front saying 'Expelliamus!'

As the two fought, Hazel couldn't think of what to do. 

But then, bodies emerged from the light.

Four people.

Cedric.

Frank.

Lily.

James.

They landed beside Harry and Hazel.

They said when the connection breaks they must get to the cup. 

"Harry, Hazel. Take my body back, will you? Take my body back to Willow and my father" he smiled, he was such a sweetheart, he sacrificed himself when he didn't have to. He could've let Hazel die, but that is a true Hufflepuff, he will be missed by all,(This line literally has me sobbing so hard)

Harry hesitated, but broke the connection. Hazel raced to Cedric's body, as Harry yelled accio cup! And they were gone. And Voldemort was pissed.

Someone screamed before they could notice. The Marching band played. 

Dumbledore flew down, as Harry and Hazel grieved, feeling at fault for his death.

"Harry- what happened?"

"He's back, Voldemort's back" Hazel said crying 

"Cedric, he asked us to bring his body back. We couldn't leave him, not there" Harry said crying 

Charlie saw what happened, she tried flying down there, but soon enough, Willow and Amos were begging to be let through.

"Let me through! Let us through!" Amos shouted shoving people 

Willow started sobbing, screaming, crying and hugged Cedric's dead body as their life depended on it.

"NO! NO! CEDRIC, PLEASE! NO! THATS MY BEST FRIEND!!" They sobbed, and Draco looked from the audience, he could see the pain in their eyes. In their heart. They would never be the same again. And he knew that.

"THATS MY SON! THATS MY BOY!" Amos joined Willow on the ground sobbing while gripping Cedric's body into a hug, though one he couldn't return.

"CEDRIC!!!! NO!!!!!!!" Willow screamed, so loud that Hogsemade could hear. "COME BACK ANGEL, COME BACK!!!" They were sobbing uncontrollably and their breathing was heavy and almost non existent.

Atlas stood with his siblings, sobbing in the stands. Nobody knew they were dating. Now his boyfriend is dead. He didn't get to say goodbye, just before the task. But now, he's gone. Charlie hugged him but she wanted to get to Hazel who probably is traumatized.

Willow and Amos lay there, next to Cedric, a beloved friend, son, brother and boyfriend, who was tragically taken too soon, who all of us will remember. Willow refuses to move, and that night, they spent with their father, and with Cedric. For the last time.

Severus saw the pain in his childs eyes, he was crying a bit himself. He knew how much Cedric meant to them, especially growing up with him their whole life. 

Amos and Willow were there for a long time, refusing to leave Cedric's body. Screaming, crying, of pain and heartbreak. It was the end of everything, and at some point that night, Willow wanted to join Cedric.

As the Diggorys lay there, once three, now two, their hearts broken over the loss of their beloved Cedric, nobody would feel the same pain as they did, because Cedric only belonged to one family, and now that family was broken and incomplete without him.

Lights fade away as the echos of sobs are heard throughout the entire Hogwarts grounds. This is a day we wish to not remember, as we lost such an important piece of our lives, Willow thought.

The day of Cedric's memorial, and the Colesons have heard about everything that happened that night merely four days earlier. It was not a good time for many people. All were gathered in the great hall.

"Today, we acknowledge...a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, infinitely fair minded, but most importantly.. he was a fierce, fierce friend. Brother. Son." Dumbledore started, as Willow was standing on the side waiting for their speech.

"Before I continue, Willow Snape - Diggory would like to say a speech dedicated to her brother, Cedric" dumbledore stood aside as they took the stand.

"Cedric, I've known him all my life. He's the best thing to ever happen to me. He cared for me when I didn't care for myself, he encouraged me to walk towards my dreams rather than away from them. He was a helping hand, a kind, loyal, and loving person. He was my best friend" they sobbed, trying to keep themselves together. "He was a dedicated member of Hufflepuff, who will all truly miss him so very much. Cedric was one of the most amazing and wonderful people I've ever known. I am so lucky to have spent all the time I did with him, and to have him as not only  my brother, but as my best friend. My partner in crime. This loss is one I can not fathom any less than anyone, but I can say, the damage has been done. This turn of events has forever changed everyone's lives, but so much myself, that I'll never get to see him smile . Or hear his laugh, his voice, spend Christmas with him as we drink hot coco by the fire and watching Christmas movies. The only thing that I have left of him is his memories with me, and that I wish was enough. Cedric, you are so loved by so many, and I'm going to miss you every day for the rest of my life. And to the person who took him away from me and everybody he loved, how cruel that you value yourself over love, kindness, and happiness. I hope you face the consequences of your actions for what you did to my Angel. Thank you" willow sobbed as they finished, Draco shuffled over to the side where they were, and not caring about anyone's reaction hugged them tightly as they sobbed into his shoulder.

"Now, I think you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see...Cedric Diggory was murdered! By Lord Voldemort! The ministry of magic does not wish me to tell you this. But I think not to do so would an insult to his memory." Willow sobbed as Dumbledore explained how Cedric was murdered by someone they know their father is a spy for. It makes it hurt even more. Hermione cried, as Aspen held her hand.

"Now, the pain we all feel, especially some of us, because of this dreadful loss reminds me... reminds us. While we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events, the bonds of friendship we've made this year, will be more important than ever. Remember that" he said, getting to the end of his speech.

"And Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain. He sacrificed his life for two people. And for us all. You remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was... kind and honest and... brave and true right to the very end" he concluded as the memorial came to a close.

Willow and Draco stayed behind a while, he didn't want to, but he did it for them. In that moment he realized that he loved them.

Willow looked at Cedric's casket, his body resting peacefully, dressed in a suit. They clutched his Triwizard tournament shirt tightly, sniffing it and inhaling his smell. They lived with that, they would keep this shirt forever, everything he got them, made them, everything they did together, they wouldn't throw anything away. 

They threw a yellow rose into the casket, with a note he'll  never read, but maybe he will. 

"This isn't goodbye, this is a see you later, Cedric. I love you Angel, rest well. Please, give me signs you're looking after us. I'll miss you every day until I die" they sob, throwing in multiple yellow roses, and Draco continues to hug them as the walked away, as sobs echoed the halls.

"Do you ever think we'll have a quiet year at Hogwarts?" Ron asked

"No, probably not" Maggie replied laughing, hugging Harry, they're not together yet, but soon enough..

"Everything's going to change now, isn't it?" Hermione said softly 

"Yeah, it will" Aspen said, "but we'll he here until the end" they smiled kissing her forehead 

She blushed.

meanwhile, the Colesons were all standing near the balcony, watching the other schools head off home.

"What a year" Charlie said

"Yeah" Hazel responded 

"Everything is gonna be even different now, isn't it?" Liam said, wondering how everything will be 

"Yes, it will, I can't say it won't" Hazel said

"We've got each other" Blake said

"And that's all that matters" atlas smiled

"Let's go home" Flynn said

"Not really, this is our home now" Edie said, smiling

"Home" Hazel smiled
