" quest details "

Well, hello there my dear participants!
Your next quest will show us how well you can work within a team.

Please carefully read through the following information, so that you are aware of what we expect from you and your creations!

STATUS: QUEST IS CLOSED

1. graphic type:
poster

2. dimensions:
2:3 ratio (e.g. 2000x3000 pixel)
or 3:2 ratio (e.g. 3000x2000 pixel)

3. editing style/concept:
model based, this time vectors/illustrations and manips are allowed but NO aesthetics or blends

4. genre/mood: (1)**
this is semi up to you, the overall mood should match both of your characters and the team they create, but it also should be noticeable that something very wrong is going on that they have to deal with.. so adventure/action, horror and/or thriller should be included

5. color palette:
completely up to you, should compliment your chosen genre/mood of course and characters

6. required text:
give your team a little slogan or quote that sums up their spirit/energy basically, but what is required are the credits: "the fantasy island" + "a graphic war by eggyeuls" + your username/watermark

7. amount of entries: (2)**
2 designs per team, depicting each character (NO "please choose an entry/version for me because I can not decide")

8. reminder:
The use of unsafe resources may end in immediate disqualification! You are allowed to re-design your entry once, in case it contains unsafe resources in the first place. If the re-make contains unsafe resources again, then you will be disqualified. Same goes for being caught copying/plagiarizing another participant or any other content creator outside this competition of course.

(1)** information about the characters: please stay close to the appearances and original character traits of your previously chosen characters, do not create whole new personas and appearances. Different clothing, wounds and such are allowed, but now they are not in their desired fantasy anymore, so retain from giving them wings, tails and stuff like that.

(2)** information about the team work: Two entries are required from each team, but this time you do not only get to work on your own character. There are two options: EITHER 1) create two matching entries depicting each character on their own (where you will work on your team members' character and your team member will do your character) OR 2) create two entries where both characters are shown together in each of the entries, either doing base swaps and finishing off each others bases (you will need to submit the bases and the finished results then) or doing matching entries without the whole base swapping thing.

„matching entries" = they should match scenery wise (the place your characters are at, not one entry with them at the beach and the other with them somewhere on an ocean..), time wise (either both at night or at daylight), style wise (not one entry being a vector illustration and the other a manip, it has to be the same editing style for both entries), roughly perspective wise (not one with the characters super up-close with only their faces visible and the other showing them from head to toe from far away) and roughly color wise (not one entry full of vibrant colors and the other one just consisting of muted earthy shades).
