''release me, embrace me'' i listen to from my earphones, as the teacher doesn't stop rambling about how his wife cooked him and his 5 year old son pasta last night.

''anyways, let's get on with the lesson. we will be doing trigonometry today. please get out a pen, and a paper.''

finally.

i get out a pen and a paper and start following into the lesson. i didn't get much sleep last night.

''yah! min seoyeon!'' a voice screams behind me. ''what do you want?!'' i ask.

''don't pick him over your mom, seo.''  he says. ''all she did was hurt me, dad. don't act like you're hearing this for the first time.'' i respond.

''seoyeon. i'm serious. that guy will never do you any good!''  he says. ''how would you know?! the only thing you've done is carelessly judge him!'' i respond.

''on what, huh? what did i judge him on?!'' he asks.

i stay quiet.

''well! if you know everything and don't bother to listen to your parents advice, then why don't you ju-''

''his money.''

suddently, i hear a loud noise that woke me up from my sleep.

''min seoyeon! why are you sleeping in my class?'' my teacher, mr. kwon says in a serious manner.

just by his tone, i knew i was in trouble.

i was embarrassed. i was sweating.

everyone was looking at me.

''i'm sorry. it won't happen again.'' i apologize to mr. kwon. ''fine, i'll let you off the hook this time, but next time, expect a detention.'' he walks away.

hihi! i hope you liked this chapter. it's a pretty short chapter because i wanted to add a longer one next chapter and i wanted to fit everything over there. i'm so excited to continue on with this book! :D

im lowkey really proud of this chapter though, because the storyline is slowly coming together :)
