DELIVERY 6: Guilt

2ND POV:

You watched as your two older siblings wrestled each other in the middle of the staircase. You rolled your eyes, thinking of how stupid they look.

"Ackㅡ ! Don't touch my hair bro!"

"Sorry I owk-! JENNIE!"

"Get off oppa!!"

You let them wrestle their way up the stairs while you peek through the wooden floor to your wide open room to the left.

No signs of Taehyung. Which made you felt both happy and bad at the same time.

"Please just one epiㅡahh!"

"NO!"

"Why?! You have something hiding in there?"

"ROOMS ARE MINI HOUSES JENNIE!! PRIVACY!!"

"IT'S JUST ONE EPISODE CALM DOWNㅡ"

"WHERE'S YOUR LAPTOP?"

"CHARGING! BESIDES, MY ACCOUNT EXPIRED AND I CAN'T FIND MY CARD!"

"YOU IRRESPONSIBLE BRAT!"

"SUSPICIOUS PRICK!"

"Immatures.." You mumbled before avoiding them to make your way to your bedroom. "Take your time~ I'll be in my room... gaming." You told them before shutting the door.

You could still hear them arguing in a buzz. You sighed in relief before whispering. "Taehyung..!"

The closet doors shook before opening to reveal Taehyung - his head between the coats you have hanging. "Are they gone?" he whispered back, glancing at the door.

"They're outside arguing but keep it still low." You told him.

"Okay. Phew." He said stepping carefully out of the closet, being careful not to knock some of your shoes out.

"I really don't think you can stay here for long. We have to find Lizzie girl and return you back to her." You told him, before he could say anything you turned your back to him and walked straight to the gaming chair you have to the left of your bed.

Taehyung sighed, clutching the small rulebook in his hands, debating whether to give it you or not. Giving it to you when you've found Lizzie wouldn't be cool. Besides, he knows you don't trust him.

He went to slide the book under your pillow as he turns to you, facing your dual monitor set up. He looks weirdly at it while you open your browser and searched for the delivering services' company number.

You called them, they picked up. "Umm. Hi I'm Seo Y/N.. yes that's right. I just got a delivery yesterday, I thought it was my curved monitor but it was the wrong package ㅡ yeah, I already sent a report about it. But that's not why I called, I called because, I want to know if you have a deliverer named Lizzie she.. No?ㅡ"

You immediately turned to look at Taehyung who was anticipating on what the person on the other line was saying.

"Oh okay.. Okay.. Yes I understand. No it wasn't. Yes. Thank you." And you ended the call.

"What's up?" Taehyung asked.

"No deliverer named Lizzie. It was the right delivery service that I called though. She even had an ID." You told him.

Taehyung look slowly down at the floor, quite upset realizing that you want him out. You were quite oblivious about this as you sat on the chair again, turning.

"Can't you really remember her? I mean she was your last owner, you must have some good memories with her." As soon as you said that statement, episodes of memories flashed. It was about him being played by an unknown young lady. He remember her breaking his body parts, beating him, and even using him as a rebound whenever she got dumped.

"Taehyung?" He heard you called, waking him up to reality. You looked at him, concerned at how quiet he has been.

"Oh uh.. Just.. thinking.." Taehyung said, giving you a tight smile which didn't reach his eyes.

You sigh, standing up, from your chair and reluctantly sitting down next to him at the edge of your bed.

"Hey.. If ever you remember something about her, tell me okay? The faster you remember the sooner we'll get you returned." You said patting his back. You saw him nod. You stand up to check on your two siblings outside your room.

When you were out of sight, Taehyung then whispered to himself.. "But I don't want to return.."

You were called downstairs by your older siblings. "Food is here Y/N~!"

"Stay here, I'll be back soon." You told Taehyung. He nodded.

You close the door before walking downstairs. You saw how much your siblings has ordered. You only ordered spaghetti, fried chicken and sundaes while both of them went all the way to burgers, pizza, and everything else.

"Aren't you both on a diet?" You asked them. They turned to you, a shock of realization evident in their eyes but silently turned away. You rolled you eyes as you took your share. They didn't mind seeing you took two plastic spoons and fork as they know you don't go well with plastic materials. Little do they know that the other one is for a doll upstairs.

"Y/N?" You halted in the middle of the stairs as you turn to look at your sister. "You do know you'll be moving to the dorms tomorrow right?" She told you.

"Yeah, I got an email from the school." You told which reassured her. You continued to walk to your room. Closing the door after you.

Taehyung sits there, still struggling to solve the 3x3 rubics cube you gave him.

As you both ate, you wondered how intelligent  Taehyung is. Is he a genius like Kim Namjoon from your class, or is he like the mere stupid your maknae rival Jeon Jungkook who thinks 20 is the answer for 2×0?

"How long have you been existing?" You asked him.

"Those times alchemist still exists. My master's daughter was the one who made me but she died before him so he took care of me and became my father." He replied. "He took great care of me that he made me like him, he teached me how's it best to react to something. He showed me affection and care." He stopped and looked up to you from his plate of fried chicken and spaghetti.

"Lizzie didn't show me that," You saw his eyes shift from crystal blue green to royal blue. You immediately got goosebumps after seeing the satisfying transition.

"She showed me how humans can be ruthless, merciless, and... different. " He told you as he slowly leans forward, closing the huge gap into a mere 5 inches apart from your noses.

"That's why I don't want to go back to her." He breathed. Your eyes widen at that, then you realized that all these things, all the fuss about you wanting him to leave was only YOUR choice.

But now that he told you so, you felt guilty and sad. If he doesn't want to return to Lizzie, better return him to someone where he deserves to be in.
