peggy walks down the halls of an unnamed building, carrie at her side.

carrie is trying to negotiate. "ginny needs to be found as soon as possible, you know what hydra is capable of!"

"i have my best team on it, i insist." peggy argues.

"that's not enough! send me, you said it yourself when i graduated to level five, i am one of your best agents."

"and i stand by that. but i can't send my best agent after a wild goose chase!"

carrie stops walking, in shock. "a wild goose chase. that's how much she means to you, good to know." her sarcastic tone cuts like a knife.

"ginny was born into hydra's system. we're lucky if she comes out alive."

"you don't know her past like i do! you don't know how many times i held her as she spilled her soul out to me, tears pouring down her face!"

peggy's eyes are set in a hard stare, only a bit of emotion showing. "my decision remains final. go get some rest, carolyn"

carolyn did not in fact, get some rest.

her rusty chevy rumbles down the highway to the airport, headed to russia after her "wild goose chase".

she contacted some allies and dug deeper into hydra's files, finding exactly what she needed to know. carrie also found out what happened with steve and the "super soldier serum" and was sure to confront him about that.

bucky was found to be missing, and she suspected it to be hand in hand with ginny's disappearance.

arriving at the runway she sees a man dressed in brown who tips his hat, a kind gesture that she shoulders off.

"the plane you requested, ms. adler?" his deep voice gives away his smoking history.

the plane was small, and could fit 20 to 30 people, estimated. although it was only her, the man, and the pilot.

"thanks so much, you're a dear." her red lips twist into a smile as she hands him her bag.

the plane ride was bumpy, to say the least. and it was long. carrie didn't trust the man ( a gun was strapped to her thigh the whole ride ) and the pilot, so her sleep was limited.

if only she knew the ambush that waited for her in russia.
