bucky was gone, off to fight for his country, and steve never visited.

it was getting lonely down at frankie's saloon, and carrie was bored out of her mind. ginny is currently waiting tables, since 7:00 hasn't hit yet.

the two get all sorts of shit doing this job, which is why carrie isn't surprised when their boss walks out and calls ginny over.

"ginny! a word please?" he bellows as she walks back from the table with her notepad. our boss, mr. greenwood, is the most disgusting man they've seen. but he guarantees them money, so they put up with it.

"sure." ginny's red lips twist into a half smile as she follows him back. she turns to carrie before entering his office. "cover my shift? you're the best, girlie."

"what's on your mind, sir?" she asks mr. greenwood as he closes the door behind them.

his expression turns into an unnerving smirk. "virginia petrov. their little russian spy. hate to do this, but money really is hard to come by these days."

two men walk into the room, dressed in black and take her arms.

"what the hell? get your hands off me!" she tries to squirm out of their grips, but it just leaves a stinging feeling on her arms from their tough leather gloves.

"don't fight it, you'll never win." one man tilts her head forward, so her chin digs into her chest, and they insert a needle in her neck.

she doesn't have the chance to scream before the sedative kicks in and everything fades into darkness.

"thank you for your help, sir. i understand women can be quite hard to handle. especially the naughty ones." one of the men speaks.

"oh yes, it's a great help that your taking her off my hands. she can't stay out of trouble." mr. greenwood leans back in his office chair and leafs through the money the men handed him.

one man nods. "zola will be very happy to see her after all these years. thank you again."

carrie wakes up in the alley behind the restaurant with a huge headache. the events a few hours before come back to her head and she notices the revolver in her hand. loaded.

"oh shit. peggy won't be happy about this."
