theadora.luella been away filming but wanted to take a minute to share a few memories of my close friend cameron, who i was lucky enough to know for a short 4 years. (though that will never be enough time. forever wouldn't have been enough. that's how special he is.) i met cam at the first table read for d2 & often think about what a sight i must have been — a timid little 11 year old with pigtails walking into rehearsals alone, nails bitten to the quick & scared shitless. cam made a point to come over, introduce himself & everyone else, & proceeded to move my seat at the table read next to his. from then on not only was cam my friend, he was my brother. he took me under his wing & guidance, not only in filming but in life. he helped me with homework (he's incredibly smart), gave me ridiculous nicknames (i used to despise 'teddy', but now i would do anything to hear it one more time), scared off boys (that's what he would say but cam couldn't be scary if he tried), helped 12 year old thea with her first 'heartbreak' (petty middle school drama, but he saw how important it was to me at the time & treated it as such, which looking back i am so grateful for), & so much more. i think i will always be jealous of those who got to spend more time with him.
to cam...i'll never forget your kindness, wisdom, & love. this is a loss i will feel till the end of time. miss u forever & then some. always ur personal stylist/guinea pig. love teddy.
