kithood. he was loved by both of his parents,
and enjoyed the company of his siblings. he
aspired to be a great warrior and enjoyed the
idea of play-pretend with his siblings: acting
out battles and using them as prey to stalk ,

𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 ━━ orbweaverpaw was
given oakrush as a mentor. he was an older
tom-cat, but he was excellent. he was on the
track to becoming deputy in the near future,
and he would have made a great one, in the
eyes of orbweaverpaw. he enjoyed training:
even the small patrols where he didn't get to
do all that much. it fired up a storm in his
belly and he was excited to become a warrior ,

𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 ━━ life as a warrior was just
how he expected. it was great. he loved it ,

he and a she-cat started to get close with
one another, and before long, laburnumnose
declared her love for him - and they became
mates. she announced she was pregnant three
moons after courting one another. the idea of
being a father excited orbweaverwood ,

he was a great father to his kits when they
arrived. he loved them endlessly, allowed
them to use him as a climbing frame, or a
play thing in their stories or play sessions ,

his world shifted slightly when the clans
medicine cat at the time, wheatleaf, fell sick.
she couldn't tend to those who needed her
help, and was forced to retire. sadly, she had
no apprentice to climb the rank after she did
so, and the clan spiralled out of control ,

they begged for starclan to guide them in
the right direction, but nothing happened. and
orbweaverwood jumped at the idea of then
training under wheatfur, to become the next
medicine cat of the clan ,

this sparked a few arguments. his daughter
said some foul words, wished him dead, and
claimed he was abandoning the family, while
his son stood by his side. laburnumnose was
fine with the matter at first but her views soon
shifted - and she broke things off with him ,

she took on a new mate weeks later, and
this wounded orbweaverwood. did she not
love him enough? and when she then told
the clan about her pregnancy, it pained the
new medicine cat further. she moved on so
quickly, while he was picking up the pieces
of his broken heart, and trying to mend his
daughters at the same time ,
