personality description tess byers is relaxed and unbothered. she keeps to herself, and genuinely doesn't care what anyone thinks about her. she spends most her time with a bottle of liquor, and either a cigarette or a joint. you might think she doesn't care about her family, you couldn't be more wrong. when will byers was pronounced dead, she drank to drown her sorrows, and it didn't work, but also will byers came back to life.

in the high school hierarchy she's pretty high. higher than her brothers that's for sure. people respect her. some perhaps even out of fear. she'll defend her brothers to death, and god knows that will byers bullies are terrified of her. unfortunately though, she can't be there all the time.
