𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿'𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘃

as dusk settles in light orange ambient flickers through lilith's window, her skin that's coated in a delicate hue of brown dazzles her lover. he can't help but admire the woman before him. how much of her light has shown in abyss of cyclical self-sabotage the only lantern in the distance was she. lilith soto knew rafe cameron to his core and he'd be forever grateful to have loved her to love her now. his eyes opened as he jolted awake due to nightmares plaguing his subconscious. in the dew drops of the morning rafe can't help but speak to her.

"i've become a better person with you and for you. i'm truly grateful lili my love. i'll forever be you're prince, but you are my queen" as he whispers those sentiments into the air of her room. birds singing as they fly from the plant on her balcony. the swell in his chest as he traces her skin without touching her, it's love he feels. true, raw, pure, and unconditional love.

rafe grips her around the waist pulling her to him, to cover her in safety even in her sleep. so she knows peace can be with him. lilith's soft breathing may lull him back to a dream scape more pleasant, than the one he was just in.

lilith has awaken coated in warmth you only get when sleeping next to your joy can give. as her clock reads it's just 15 minutes passed six. rafe is wide awake staring at the light from between the curtains blanketing the room, fitting it for slumber.

"mmm you're awake already" laced in the thickness of sleep lili whispers.

"i am, love, how'd you sleep?" rafe spoke.

"too well" lilith smiles at him as he watches her get off her bed quick in her mission to reach her bathroom. rafe can't help it he heads in the same direction. picking her up from behind he starts the shower.

rafe lathers his hands and starts to wash lilith, in the span of five minutes lili relaxes into his touch. you know that feeling you get when you know something is right, like it's the right moment, right time etc.

to the both of them that's how this shower felt. all you need is a tub with roses, candles. stuff to set the mood right. it's contentment with another soul, another human who seems bonded to you through love.

lilith sighs as rafe runs his hands through her hair. lilith wets it regardless of shrinkage, moisture is necessary.

thirty minutes later rafe is behind the stove making breakfast. lilith's twists sit almost at her shoulder blades. rafe took his time as he helped her put in her leave in conditioner, moisturizer.

"what are you making us for breakfast?"

"pancakes, turkey bacon, and egg whites. healthy but also my dad only stocks those things it seems" rafe laughs as lili chuckles with him.

"coffee? or tea?"

"tea" rafe's voice rang soft in the kitchens morning glow.

"coming right up" lili quick on her toes kisses rafe a few times before they get into domestic life.
