the sunningrocks is a formation of rocks
found along the short of the river, in
thunderclans territory. and, is a source of
deadly conflict between both riverclan and
thunderclan, due to its uses as a place to
bask in the sun, and as a place to hunt.

the area along the shoreline of the river is
sandy, with a thick patch of reeds by the
shore. it's is a large granite rock formation,
with several, smooth, flat, pale grey rocks
stacked on top of each other, some with
deep cracks between then. on one side, it
faces the sun, while the over side is sheer,
overshadowing the river. the smooth rocks
are flat, making them a desirable location to
sunbathe and rest. there is a cleft where
cats are able to shelter in several gullies and
hollows. however, they're unstable and prone
to rockfalls. within the cracks in the rocks, prey
is able to hide in the cavities between them.

a pair of stepping—stones lie not that far
from the sunningrocks, which can be used
to cross the river into riverclan territory.
