Sunoo had his arms crossed, looking deadly at his group of friends who were majority looking down.

"W-Well to be fair, you didn't tell us you guys weren't on good terms-" Sunghoon mumbled, making Heeseung nudge his shoulder. It's better to keep quiet since Sunoo looked serious.

"I'm not mad guys. Just..you didn't bother to tell me? You know that Ni-ki and I don't have a good past." 

"But Sunoo, Ni-ki's our friend, and we want to invite him to our wedding, is it gonna be so hard to see him for just one day?" Jay replied, to which Sunoo sucked on his teeth. Jay was right, it was his wedding so he had every right to invite whoever he wants to invite.

"But- Why are we dragged into this?" Heeseung, Jake and Sunghoon spoke, making Jungwon look at them in disbelief.

"You guys were the ones who made the invitations?" Jungwon hissed at them as the three agreed. 

"We're sorry Sunoo hyung, we'll make sure to seat you guys away from each other, is that okay?" Jungwon reasoned out since he knew how much Sunoo didn't like hearing or much more seeing Ni-ki as the older nodded.

"But how did you know though?" Jake asked.

"Ah, I bumped into him the other day at a convenience store. He tried saying sorry and other stuff."

"Sorry? Shouldn't you be the one saying sorry? Did something happen back in Japan?" Sunghoon got bumped on the shoulder by his hyung again, as Sunoo sighed.

"I don't wanna talk about it, and plus, I have a better life now." Sunoo smiled, thinking about his present relationship.

"And by better life you mean your little boyfriend? Runa told us about him, can we see a picture of him?" They all huddled in as Sunoo shook his head.

"He's gonna be here in a few minutes. He really wanted to meet you guys."

"Huh? Us?"

"Oh, there he is. Kaito!" 

All of them widened their eyes at the handsome figure walking towards them.

"Oh my god, even his name is hot." Jake mumbled, making Sunghoon look at him weirdly.

"Guys, this is Kaito. Kaito, this is Heeseung hyung, Jay hyung, Jake hyung, Sunghoon hyung, and Jungwon." Kaito smiled, reaching out his hand to greet all of them.

"Congratulations on your wedding by the way." Kaito smiled, making Jay and Jungwon smile softly. A gentleman they see.

"What's your job? How old are you?" Sunghoon asked, making Jake look at him weirdly.

"Oh, I run a Cruise company back in Japan, and I am twenty-six years old."

"HA! He's younger than Heeseung hyung." The whole group laughed, as the twenty-seven-year-old Heeseung himself rolled his eyes at Sunghoon's comment.

"And how did you guys meet?" Jay asked.

"Ah, he was partnering with the company..I was working at and we just met then." Sunoo smiled at Kaito, not wanting to say the name of the company he worked at.

"Well..do you love each other?"

"Jake hyung!" Sunoo whined, not wanting his hyungs to ask such rushed questions.

"I do." Sunoo's head jolted as Kaito replied, making his heart slow down for a bit.

"W-We just started dating five days ago." Sunoo kept himself embarrassed to avoid feeling like he has to say it back.

"Well, I and Jay are going to be seeing the wedding venue, you guys have a good time." Jungwon held on to Jay's hand, smiling at their friends before heading out of the cafe.

"Oh to be like those two." Heeseung sighed, looking up and down at Jake and Sunghoon.

"When will your wedding be?"

"In a few months, don't be too sour about it." 

One by one, all their friends left, leaving Sunoo and Kaito alone as it started getting darker by the second.

"You wanna go home? I'll drive." Sunoo nodded, resting his head on Kaito's shoulder, heading to Sunoo's car as he lazily got on the passenger's seat. He couldn't stop thinking about certain things which he tried to push away but it just kept coming back.

"You okay?" Kaito asked whilst driving as Sunoo rubbed the back of his neck.

"Yeah, of course." He managed to crack up a smile, as Kaito looked at the steering wheel and back to the road.

"Hey, Sunoo?" The younger turned in his direction, as Kaito deeply sighed.

"If Ni-ki were here right now, who would you rather be with?"

Being taken aback, Sunoo gulped at the question that came out of nowhere. Of course, he can't answer that. He really does like Kaito, but he would be lying if he said he wouldn't have hesitated to even pick between them.

"W-What's with that question-"

"Who?"

In an attempt of trying to laugh it out, Sunoo mentally groaned. He didn't want to answer the question because his tone would make it seem like he was lying.

"Y-You of course, yeah." Sunoo smiled, making Kaito's eyelids go down a bit.

"Why'd you stutter?"

"Huh? Oh, I was just surprised because of the question, that's all." He didn't want Kaito to be upset and find it suspicious so he tried his best to put on a bright face although he was panicking inside.

They eventually reached Sunoo's house, getting out of the car with awkward silence.

"How will you get to your hotel though?"

"I'll take the bus, don't worry." Kaito smiled as Sunoo stared back. Usually, these scenes in dramas would happen where the two main leads would drop off the other at their house and they would kiss.

But he was just..not feeling it.

The spark.

"I'll uh..get going." Sunoo mumbled, the corners of his lips going up and planting just a very quick small kiss on Kaito's cheek. The older expected more but it was alright, they weren't in that stage yet.

Sunoo went inside with much regret, not knowing why he did that. Now Kaito would think to take things faster now.

You're so stupid, Sunoo.

"Over there!" Ni-ki shouted as Heeseung attacked the opponent they were fighting against. 

The place where a majority of guys spend their time relieving stress is the computer shop. All of them would go there to game, and considering they haven't seen each other in years, Ni-ki and Heeseung decided to do at least two rounds.

Heeseung smirked, high-fiving with his youngest dongsaeng, happy that he still had the skills.

"Where are the others?" Ni-ki asked as Heeseung took a sip of his cola.

"On dates." Ni-ki laughed at his Heeseung hyung's annoyed facial expression, getting ready for their next and last game and picking their character. 

"How about..Sunoo hyung?"

"Ah, he's probably on a date too. He has a boyfriend now, he-" Heeseung noticed Ni-ki's blank expression, coughing and turning his chair.

"We'll get someone soon too, don't worry." Heeseung tried making a joke, only for the result to be one small smile from the younger. He knew Ni-ki and Sunoo weren't on good terms so he really tried his best to keep his mouth shut and just went on with the game.

"What about you? What are your plans?" Heeseung asked whilst aggressively clicking his keyboard and mouse.

"After Jay and Jungwon hyung's wedding, I'm going back to Japan. Someone has to take care of the family company, you know?" 

"Really? You're not even gonna stay for another month? We missed you so much." Heeseung pouted, as Ni-ki chuckled, finding it cringe yet sweet.

"I'll come to visit in another few months, don't worry hyung."

"We haven't seen each other in so long Ni-ki, you should come live here again." Heeseung suggested as Ni-ki glanced at him.

"Who will take care of my family's company?"

"Don't you have two sisters? They can do it if they can."

"Well, Konon's been wanting to take over it, so.." Ni-ki mumbled as Heeseung happily raised his eyebrows.

"So? You'll stay here?" Ni-ki smiled at his hyung's joyful tone, shrugging his shoulders.

"I'll help you find a job, you might even find your someone here!" Heeseung exclaimed as Ni-ki's hand froze, looking blankly at his keyboard.

The sudden action caused both him and Heeseung's character to die, making the older groan.

"Ni-ki! What was that?! You were supposed to assist me!" Heeseung noticed Ni-ki's not so happy face, mentally hitting himself. He must have said something again.

"C'mon, let's get out of here."

Heeseung placed the soju bottle on the table, as Ni-ki looked blankly at the convenience store.

"That's where I and Sunoo hyung saw each other the other day." Ni-ki's head shot up to that aisle as Heeseung sighed and sat down.

"I feel like you're bringing something to the table that you've been wanting to talk about for a while." Heeseung swiftly opened the bottle, pouring himself and Ni-ki a shot.

"When you guys met Kaito, did Sunoo hyung look happy?"

"You know Kaito?" Ni-ki nodded, smiling a bit.

"I, him, and Runa were childhood friends. I guess you could say he was responsible for Runa distancing away from me."

"Eh?! He seems so nice though, he really did that to you?!" Ni-ki quickly gulped his first shot of the night as Heeseung scoffed.

"I mean, I guess Sunoo was smiling a lot. Although..Jake asked if they love each other, Kaito was the only one to reply, I found that a bit suspicious." Heeseung hissed as Ni-ki glanced here and there. Ni-ki can't believe that he really thought Sunoo really liked Kaito, Sunoo made it so..believable.

"But you know what? I don't think he really likes Kaito." Heeseung commented as Ni-ki laughed a bit.

"You don't know that, Heeseung hyung. You never know, he might actually like Kaito."

"You're only hurting yourself, Ni-ki. I know you still love Sunoo." Ni-ki avoided eye contact with his hyung, drinking another shot. Was it that obvious? Yes, no, maybe.

"Sunoo's eyes don't sparkle with Kaito as much as it does with you. Sure he may 'like' Kaito, but he will always love you. Like and love is two different things." Heeseung smiled, nodding. He really trusted his gut that Sunoo still remained to love Ni-ki, while Ni-ki himself just sighed.

"I'm not so sure hyung, when I bumped into Sunoo hyung here, he really seemed like..he liked Kaito."

"That's what he wants you to think. Because he's afraid, just like you. You're both so stupid, you know? Always doing things to break your relationship. It's so obvious that you love each other, why are you making things harder?" Heeseung leaned in, wanting to hear Ni-ki's thoughts, as the younger just looked down.

What Heeseung just said hit him. Why did they make things harder? They both did things to distance themselves from each other when clearly, they want to be together. They're looking for problems that don't even need to be..there.

"It's not that easy, hyung. I admit I love Sunoo hyung, God I'd do anything for him. But would he want me back? After everything, I've done? I don't think so. And c'mon, Kaito's much more mature and understanding than me."

"Excuse me? It's been four years and you still are in love with the same person, that's something I'm sure Kaito doesn't have, loyalty. If you love someone, you'll do everything in your will to make them yours, am I right? I'm one hundred percent sure that Sunoo loves you back too, he's just covering it up because he hasn't moved on."

Ni-ki sighed, drinking not one but two shots quickly, groaning as he shook his head. Of course what Heeseung said made sense, but something was still pulling him back.

"Can't. I promised him to not bother him again."

"And you think he wants that? He's probably wanting to go back to you too! Trust me, Ni-ki. I've been friends with you guys for years, I know you well. Will you really just stand there and be unsatisfied with your life because you lost the one person you truly loved, being 'happy' with someone else? No, that's not the Nishimura Riki I know." Ni-ki rolled his eyes at his hyung's cheesy but correct words.

The old him would probably just sit down and regret his choice but do nothing about it.

The new him would do everything in his power to make a move and not stop until he reached his goal.

And thank god that Heeseung drove him to become the 'new him'.

He's waited for more than four years and get what? Sunoo being happy with someone else? No way. He's waited enough. He won't be that coward who used to stand still and watch anymore. 

I don't care if he doesn't 'love' me anymore, I'll make sure he knows that I do.

No update for two days sorry I was enjoying my life with no more assignments to do ajkkjfka anw book coming closer to the end, VERY VERY close :)
