Sunoo's eyes and lips froze at the moment, looking at Kaito in the eye.

"W-What?" He stuttered, his hand turning into a grip on his clothes.

"I..like you." 

Sunoo's eyes fluttered from shock, eyebrows raised. Out of all people, Kaito? Kaito was his friend, or at least he thinks he is, but why? And to make things worse, Kaito is Ni-ki's worst enemy, it would make things messier.

"W-Why?"

"Why? I just do. I love who I am when I'm with you."

Ah, that shouldn't make your heart beat, Sunoo!

Sunoo caged his bottom lip with his teeth, breath getting heavier than before.

"You don't have to give me an answer now, I'll wait until you could say I like you too." Kaito smiled, making Suck on his teeth.

"But- That's not fair- I-I don't want us to be awkward around each other-"

"Why would we be awkward around each other? We can still talk and hang out, can't we?"

(A/N: Lemme cry I remember my 6th crush now, he said something similar to this HUHU)

"Yeah but- I'd feel bad cause I can't answer you-"

"That's alright. Just give me an answer whenever you'd like." Sunoo inhaled sharply at Kaito's words, gulping a big lump in his throat.

He really hoped it won't be weird between them, the thing he wanted the most this trip was to have a good time after all.

"You were right, it would snow today." Kaito smiled, making Sunoo purse his lips hard. 

Why was this so difficult for him? He could just reject him right there and then but no words were coming out from his mouth.

Maybe he just needed some time to think over it.

They spend the next thirty minutes in silence, just sitting on the sand and being in their own world. Neither of them spoke, not knowing what to say after what Kaito had said.

"There you guys are! It's four in the afternoon, would you please help make dinner? Ni-ki doesn't know how to cook, for god's sake." Taki groaned, panting really hard since the beach was a bit far from the rest house.

"Thank you for the food." Everyone smiled, digging in as they weren't too surprised that it didn't taste that good since only two of them have decent cooking skills and two of them being Sunoo and Hana.

Sunoo grabbed the pan with the main dish, hissingas it was still hot. Ni-ki's hand twitched, putting it back down as Kaito immediately came to help.

"Are you okay?" Kaito asked, making Sunoo nod.

"Yeah, of course." Taki sighed, putting his hand on his chest. He can't afford someone being injured on this 'wonderful' trip.

Ni-ki gulped, aggressively taking a side dish on his mouth as everyone looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Are you that hungry?" Taki judged him, rolling his eyes as Kaito already felt that something bad is about to happen.

The whole dinner, Ni-ki was the only one who didn't speak much rather than asking for dishes to be passed and so. Yes, he did have to sit through Kaito acting sweet around Sunoo. It was evening already and he's still acting like as if Sunoo is eating so little.

Ni-ki's eyes looked to the floor, twitching a bit as he tried not to think about it.

"I..like you."

Ni-ki's feet backed up a little. It was just suppose to be a bit of following Sunoo, and considering they weren't talking for a bit, he was about to leave. Not until Kaito had talked.

"W-Why?" Ni-ki peeked at Sunoo who looked flustered yet confused, gripping on the tree in front of him.

"Why? I just do. I love who I am when I'm with you."

Fucking bastard.

"You don't have to give me an answer now, I'll wait until you could say I like you too." Ni-ki gritted his teeth, wanting to hit Kaito with a rock right then and there. He knew it, he guessed it right that Kaito liked Sunoo. But it made him feel worse.

Why does he have to steal everything and everyone?

"But- That's not fair- I-I don't want us to be awkward around each other-"

"Why would we be awkward around each other? We can still talk and hang out, can't we?"

Ni-ki scoffed silently, mentally killing that 'sweet' guy over there.

"Yeah but- I'd feel bad cause I can't answer you-"

"That's alright. Just give me an answer whenever you'd like."  

Ni-ki's gaze never left Sunoo's awkward looking face, hoping and hoping that he wouldn't say yes. Ever. It didn't matter if he did something wrong before, the point is that Sunoo can't like anyone else, not on his watch.

"You were right, it would snow today." 

"There you guys are! It's four in the afternoon, would you please help make dinner? Ni-ki doesn't know how to cook, for god's sake."

Ni-ki hid on the other side of the tree, heart beating fast as Taki probably almost caught 'stalking' them. He waited a little before coming out, sighing deeply.

Ni-ki frustratingly reached for the bottle of alcohol on the center of the table, not hesitating to open it and pour a shot onto his glass.

"We're not even finished eating, can't you wait?" Ni-ki ignored Taki's comment, chugging the first glass, pouring a second one, making everyone worried.

Taki called him out again, but he just wasn't listening. Ni-ki wasn't the worst, but also not the best at alcohol tolerance, so even if it was eight in the evening, he would fall asleep right away.

"Slow down!" Taki grabbed the alcohol bottle out of Ni-ki's grip. Everyone was finished eating at this point, and the one drinking was at his sixth shot.

Sunoo's lips parted, anyone looking at him right now could tell that he was beyond worried. He never took Ni-ki for someone who would drink often and fast, so this was a bit shocking.

"Did someone upset him today? He's never like this!" Taki commented, hissing at Ni-ki who still looked serious despite reaching the brim of being drunk.

Ni-ki pointed at Kaito, making Kaito raise eyebrow.

"Asshole." Ni-ki mumbled, making everyone's eyes go big, Kaito on the other hand scoffing. Sunoo's breathing became sharp, thinking if he should help Ni-ki go to bed.

"What'd I do?" Kaito provoked him, replying with a smirk. Ni-ki chuckling and drinking a seventh glass, making Taki slap his forehead and Hana's teeth clashing against each other.

"Trying to get Sunoo to be your boyfriend, how funny.." Ni-ki laughed, making Sunoo stand up and grab Ni-ki's elbow.

"He's drunk, I'll help him-"

"Why him? Don't you know that he's the reason why I hated Runa? Now he's gonna steal you too?" Ni-ki went back to having a serious facial expression, making Sunoo bite his gums. He didn't reply, helping Ni-ki by placing his arm around his shoulder and standing up, heading to where Ni-ki was sleeping that night.

"Y-You have to help me here, Ni-ki.." Sunoo sniffled, noticing that he himself started to have tears going down his face, opening Ni-ki's room's door, only for Ni-ki's head to fall on his shoulder and joining him to cry.

Sunoo gripped on Ni-ki's leather jacket, lips shuddering.

"Ni-ki-ah.."

"I hate you Sunoo hyung, I hate you so much.." Ni-ki sniffled, at this point his tears made Sunoo's sleeves a bit damp, as Sunoo's heavy breathing became soft ones, now hearing all of Ni-ki's cries.

"I want to dread seeing your face, I want to stop thinking about you. Why do you keep doing this to me.." Ni-ki's 70% drunk self didn't realise he was pouring all his feelings out, and it made Sunoo cry much harder than when Ni-ki hurt him.

"Please just love me..like the way I love you..is that so hard?" Ni-ki's broken voice made Sunoo mumble a number of countless 'I'm sorry's. He wished with his whole heart that Ni-ki wasn't saying this because he's drunk, he wanted Ni-ki to mean it. Like how he means his feelings towards the younger.

I do, I do love you Ni-ki, I really do, for real this time.
