You were poised at the threshold of the classroom, a strange knot of nerves coiled unsuspectingly in your belly. This was unfamiliar – these flutterings of anxiety did not normally find harbor within you, especially not when you faced myriad unpleasant tasks. Taking a deep breath, you mustered your composure as your shoulders rose and fell with the somewhat calming tide of your own deliberate inhalation.

A distinct knock on the door preceded a moment of hushed whispers and the rustle of movement from within. The silence that followed seemed to press against you with palpable curiosity. Aizawa's shadow loomed as he pulled open the door, a flicker of surprise briefly lighting his features before he massaged the bridge of his nose with a resigned sigh.

"So Nezu was truthful, then," he remarked, moving aside to grant you entry. "Class, quiet down. This is your new classmate. Everyone, meet Mando," he introduced, gesturing toward you with a casual sweep of his hand.

As you stepped forward, a collective gasp echoed through the room, and amidst murmurs of awe, a voice rang out, "Wow, so cool, it's the same one from yesterday."

Lifting your chin slightly, you addressed the room with an assuredness in your tone. "It's nice to meet you all," you said, and the class fell silent in response to the weight of your presence.

"As I said, my name is for me to know and for you to find out – when you earn my trust. Until then, 'Mando' will do," you proclaimed and offered a stoic bow. "It'll be nice to stay with people who aren't trying to kill you all the time."

"Hah, what's your quirk then, Mando?" sneered a voice, brash and unsettling, yet not wholly unpleasant, albeit harsh and unwelcoming. You tilted your helmet, eyes meeting the red gaze of a blonde boy—the one who had thrown the ball over seven hundred meters. You frowned, though the emotion was concealed.

"I believe I told your teacher, I don't have a quirk that I know of," you responded evenly.

The boy sniffed dismissively. "Bet you're weak."

You sighed, your hand hovering near the vibroblade strapped to your thigh, but then you caught Aizawa's gaze, drilling into you with an intensity that conveyed a clear warning. He arched a brow, and you shook your head slightly.

"Nice try, pip-squeak, but that won't happen," you retorted calmly, refusing to be baited into a confrontation. Your words carried a quiet confidence that resonated through the classroom, leaving an impression of mysterious strength, quirk or no quirk.

The blonde boy scoffed and turned away, his challenge diminishing in the air like mist. You were directed to a seat behind the boy with heterochromic eyes—the one who had inquired about your presence earlier. He gave you a glance, one that held traces of unsaid thoughts, but ultimately he said nothing, and you returned the favor, remaining quiet for the duration of the lesson.

The classroom's atmosphere settled into a focused silence, punctuated only by the teacher's voice and the occasional scratch of pens against paper. Your presence brought a subtle shift to the room, an undercurrent of intrigue and the unspoken potential of stories untold. But for now, you sat, watchful and composed, as the hours of learning marched on.

I absentmindedly scratched at my neck, the skin slightly irritated from the stiff collar of my uniform. The mundane subjects like English and tariffs were finally over, and now it was time for something more stimulating: battle training. I pondered if wearing my full armor would be necessary, considering it had proven to be a great asset during previous skirmishes. However, this was just a training session, and I wondered if it would be overkill.

'Hey, you're a girl, right?' Mina inquired, her pink hair bobbing as she walked beside me. Her voice was tinged with a hint of uncertainty, as if she wasn't quite sure whether she had correctly assessed my gender.

I let out a soft chuckle, the sound as smooth as cotton. 'Yes, I am. No need to worry,' I assured her, smiling beneath my helmet. Mina flushed slightly at my response, seemingly relieved to have gotten it right.

'So, will you be changing with us then?' she asked, her gaze flicking between me and the changing rooms ahead. We were headed there at All Might's instruction, to don our battle costumes before proceeding to Ground Beta.

'I can't take off my helmet around others—it's part of my creed,' I replied, shrugging nonchalantly. Mina nodded, understanding the restriction imposed by my beliefs, and we continued walking silently toward the changing rooms.

Mina's voice trailed off as she hurried toward the changing rooms, a hint of excitement in her tone. 'Can't wait to see you in your costume!'

Left alone, I turned toward a different room and slipped inside, closing the door behind me. I leaned my head against the wall and let out a sigh. It was time to face the challenge ahead.

With a sense of determination, I began to change into a more appropriate outfit for the upcoming training session, opting for something softer and more comfortable than my usual attire. 'Time to get out there,' I murmured to myself, mentally preparing for what awaited me on Ground Beta.

The Costume (With Helmet):

Stepping out of the changing room, I immediately noticed the numerous eyes fixated on me, including those of All Might himself. The attention caused me to instinctively tilt my head downward, the silver of my helmet catching the light and gleaming.

'Ah, nice to see you, Young L/N!' All Might exclaimed, his voice carrying a hint of surprise as he stumbled over his words.

I couldn't help but snort quietly beneath my helmet, a sound thankfully muffled by the enclosed space. Mina's reaction, however, was far less subtle as she whistled appreciatively and nudged me playfully with her hip.

'Oh wow, girl,' she grinned, her voice filled with admiration. 'If I'd known you looked this good without all that armor, damn!'

Her words elicited a chuckle from me, a short sound that made some of the boys' faces flush red. I noticed this only because of the heightened awareness granted by the force within my veins, allowing me to catch even the subtlest of reactions.

"Oh please, Mina," I replied, a smile dancing across my lips. "You look great too!"

Mina flushed once more, clearly pleased by the compliment. "Hey, thanks," she said, before we both turned our attention back to All Might, waiting for his instructions and guidance for the training session that lay ahead.
