vera furrowed her eyebrows as she read through the comments. some were supporting, but some were also hating. it made her heart clench.

cari rushed over, as any other best friend would do. unfortunately becca couldnt make it since she was filming a movie over in alabama.

"i knew he was a bad idea!" cari said with a scoff to herself. she layed on her elbow, looking at vera. they were eating the candy they had gotten previous this week.

"he's not." vera said softly to her. she wasn't heartbroken about this, just the feeling of being betrayed. the imagination of walker and momona being together made her hurt.

"he so is- we have to push him off a cliff so it goes away!" cari said with a look of disbelief towards vera by her words. it made her a tiny bit mad that her friend couldn't see it.

"he's not a problem, cari." vera continued. she took a blue raspberry sour patch kids out of her bag, eating it in one bite. cari looked at her with a bit of a weird look.

"then what is he?" cari asked sarcastically. "a peasant who deserves to live on a street?" she suggested making vera hit her with a small grin at her.

"he's more like a solution. he makes me laugh and smile-" vera said with a shrug and a small smile growing on her face.

"you're in love." cari said holding her friend's wrists with a slight surprised- but also not surprised look on her face. "little veerie is in lovee!" she said lightly with a sing songy voice a proud smile on her face now.

"shut up!" vera said with a laugh, pushing her slightly on the shoulder. cari tilted her head at her with an innocent look on her face.

"rude much." she said with a roll of her eyes. vera smiled at her best friend. her face suddenly got very serious. "but seriously if that guy hurts you, get me on the phone."

"yeah, yeah. whatever." vera said with a scoff. as soon as she ended her sentence, her phone got a ding. it was none other than walker.

"your boyfriend texted you." cari teased before getting pushed out of the room by vera with a little laugh.
