We reach the wall and I stop, Monty's grip on my arm stopping him also.

"Is something wrong?" He asks.

"No" I lie, shaking my head.

He tugs me forward before letting go off me and I follow behind him into camp.

"Ava!" I hear a shout that sounds like it's full of concern and I turn to see Raven.

Raven's voice draws attention to me and soon I'm surrounded by people asking me a load of questions. I panic, feeling claustrophobic and then I hear a loud voice yelling.

"Everyone get back!" The voice demands.

I see Bellamy pushing through the crowd and my arm is grabbed, I look beside me to see Finn. Finn opens his mouth to speak but Bellamy grabs my face, looking at it in concern.

"What the hell happened to you?" He asks.

"Somebody get Clarke!" Finn shouts, making himself useful.

"I went to the waterfall to look for Octavia-" I'm cut off.

"Are you insane? I told you not to do anything stupid!" Bellamy scolds me.

"Let me finish!" I snap and he grits his teeth.

"I was looking for Octavia when I heard noises. A grounder attacked me. We fought but she wouldn't stop coming at me...so I stabbed her" I explain and there is gasps heard around me.

"I had no choice!" I shout.

"You did the right thing" Bellamy tells me.

"No, you didn't. All you've done is piss them off!" Finn argues.

"What was she supposed to do, Collins? Just let the grounder kill her?!" Bellamy shouts and I grab his arm.

"Stop fighting!" I yell.

Before either of them can protest they are barged out the way and Clarke is grabbing my face.

"I need hot water and a cloth!" She yells.

"Move! There's nothing to see here!" She then screams at the crowd who disperses.

I'm tugged to the drop ship and up the ladders. Clarke sits me in a chair and tilts my head back, tutting.

"You've made a right mess, Ava" She states.

"What was I supposed to do!" I wail but she smiles.

"I meant the blood. It's everywhere" She elaborates and I smile sheepishly.

"Sorry" I mumble.

Jasper comes up with the water and cloth. I give him a smile and he returns it.

"If it makes you feel any better, I don't blame you for killing the grounder. It's kill or be killed, right?" Jasper says as Clarke begins wiping my face with the cloth.

"He's right" Clarke hums, rinsing the blood into the bucket.

"I didn't want to kill her. It just happened" I explain as she looks at my nose.

"I understand" Jasper says, sitting down on a chair behind Clarke.

"This is going to hurt but I have to put your nose back into place" Clarke yells me.

"It's broken?" I whine.

"On three" She states and I huff.

"One...Two.." Before she says three, she clicks my nose back into place and I cringe in pain.

"You said on three!" I shout, grabbing my nose.

"I lied" She replies simply.

She cleans the rest of the blood of my neck and stands back, washing her hands.

"You've got a cut on your lip and your nose should be fine as long as you don't hit it again" She tells me.

"I'm good to go?" I smile hopefully.

"You are good to go" She confirms.

I stand up but grimace slightly, feeling a pain shooting through my stomach.

"What was that?" Jasper asks.

"What was what?" I ask, cluelessly.

"For God sake, Ava" Clarke snaps, pulling my shirt up.

I look down to see a large dark bruise blossoming over my stomach.

"Would you look at that" I joke and Jasper snorts.

"Take it easy. It just looks like a bruise but it's gonna take time to heal, and it's gonna hurt like hell" Clarke explains.

"I can handle it" I wave her off, pulling my shirt down.

I climb down the ladders and as I exit the drop ship I walk straight into someone. A groan of pain leaves my lips and I grab my stomach.

"Hey, how you feeling?" Bellamy's voice says.

"I'm great. We gotta go find O" I rush past him but he snatches my wrist, pulling me back.

"Hold up. You're staying here" He states.

"Like hell I am" I retort.

"You look like hell, Ava" Bellamy replies.

"Wow. You've got such a way with words, Bell. It makes me want to drag you into a bush and jump your bones" I drawl out sarcastically and he rolls his eyes.

"I didn't mean it like that" He argues.

"Listen, Bellamy. I appreciate your concern for my wellbeing, I really do. But nothing you say is going to stop me from looking for Octavia" I tell him and he sighs.

"Stick with me" He huffs and I roll my eyes.

"Do I have to?" I whine childishly.

He shoots me a stern look that leaves no room for arguing and I pout, walking past him.

"Hey, everybody! Gather around and grab a weapon!" Bellamy announces loudly to the camp.

"My sister's been out there alone for twelve hours. Arm up! We're not coming back without her!" He tells them and they all start grabbing weapons from the pile.

Jasper makes a move to grab one but Clarke stops him with a concerned frown.

"Hey, Jasper, you don't have to do this. You haven't left camp since we brought you back" Clarke tells him.

"Clarke, I need to do this" He replies.

"Are you sure, Jas?" I ask him in concern and he nods.

"We need all the people we can get" Bellamy states.

Jasper walks away and Clarke turns to Bellamy and I.

"We need a tracker" Bellamy declare.

"Finn! Get out here!" He shouts.

"Give them a minute" I scold the older boy and he rolls his eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me, freckles" I tease him and he smiles in amusement at the nickname.

Everyone gathers together to leave and I take in a deep breath.

"Finn! We're leaving!" Bellamy shouts again.

"All right. I'm coming!" Finn replies.

"Keep up, sunshine" Bellamy tells me sternly.

"Yes, dad" I mumble sarcastically and he raises his brow in questioning to which I grin at him cheekily.

"Guys! Guys! Come here!" Someone shouts.

"What is that?!" Another one yells in return.

"Did you see that?!" A guy shrieks.

I look up to where everyone is pointing and stare at the scene in complete confusion. Hundreds of lights were flying through the air like a meteor shower and it looked beautiful, almost magical.

"They didn't work. They didn't see the flares" I hear Raven state, hopelessness present in her voice.

"A meteor shower tells you that?" Bellamy asks in confusion and I look down at Raven who is staring at the sky in sadness.

"It's not a meteor shower, it's a funeral. Hundreds of bodies being returned to the earth from the Ark. This is what it looks like from the other side" Clarke explains and I frown "They didn't get our message"

Clarke looks at Raven and I know what the dark haired girl is going to do before she even does it.

"This is all because of you!" She screams, running at Bellamy but Finn grabs her back.

"I helped you find the radio!" Bellamy argues.

"Yeah. After you jacked it from my pod and trashed it!" Raven bites back.

"Yeah, he knows. Now he has to live with it" Clarke tells Raven, glaring at Bellamy.

My eyes move up to the sky and my frown deepens. I mean, I feel bad for all the people who were lost but I can't bring myself to feel upset or even guilty.

My only worry is that Sinclair or Wick was one of the hundreds of bodies burning through the sky.

"All I know is that my sister is out there and I'm gonna find her. You coming or what?" Bellamy snaps.

"Yeah" Finn replies quietly.

"What are we waiting for? Move out!" Bellamy shouts.

I hear receding footsteps but I can't seem to tear my eyes away from the sky.

"Ava, come on!" I hear and I'm tugged along.

I look to Bellamy and nod, quickening up to match his fast pace.
