"Camp Jaha, this is Mount Weather. Can anyone read me?" Bellamy repeats and Raven hands the radio to Clarke.

"Bellamy?" The blonde asks.

"Clarke?" He replies and a smile tugs at the blonde's lips.

"Are you all right?" She asks him.

"I'm fine. That's it for the good news. We have to talk fast. Something has changed. Jasper, Monty, everyone, they just locked them in the dorm" Bellamy stresses and my worry deepens.

"But they're alive, all of them?" Clarke asks worriedly.

"I think so, for now" He answers.

"Maya says that they're already using their blood and things are gonna get ugly in here real fast" He adds.

"Maya is with you?" Clarke asks.

"She helped me escape. If not for her, I'd be dead" Bellamy tells her "And, Clarke, there are kids in here. We need a plan that doesn't kill everyone. Please tell me we have one"

"I hear you, but we can't do anything until you disable the acid fog. Raven is gonna help you" Clarke states.

"Got it. What else?" Bellamy asks.

"You have to figure out a way to free the grounder prisoners. There's a whole army inside that mountain, and they don't even realise it" Clarke tells him.

"Trojan horse. Good plan" Bellamy replies.

"What does Maya think? Is it doable?" Clarke asks hopefully.

"She says it's not a problem. Look. If I'm gonna pull this off, I need you to buy me some time. It won't be long before they realise I don't belong here, and if that happens-" He's cut off.

"That can't happen. I'll come up with something" Clarke assures him.

"Come up with it quick" He says.

"Copy that, and, Bellamy.." Clarke drawls off.

"Yeah?" He asks.

"I have someone here that wants to say hello" She smiles and turns to me.

I smile at the blonde gratefully and take the radio from her open palm.

"Bell?" I speak up.

"Ava" He sighs in relief.

"I miss you" I tell him with a smile.

"I miss you too, Sunshine" He tells me.

"Promise me you'll be careful, Bell?" I plead.

"I promise, i'll try my best to be careful" He chuckles.

"Stay safe" I order.

"Of course. And, Ava.." He drawls off.

"Hmm?" I hum.

"I love you" He states and my lips tug up at both ends.

"I love you too" I reply before looking up at Raven.

She pats my back and takes the radio from me. Clarke turns to walk away and Raven perks up.

"What are you gonna do?" She asks the blonde.

"I'm gonna keep them looking outside instead of in" Clarke declares.

"I'm coming with you" I pipe up and Clarke nods.

We walk through the hallways, Indra and her warriors following behind naturally as Clarke explains the situation to Octavia and Indra. We reach Emerson in the airlock and the guard holds out his hand.

"Don't" Clarke snaps.

"Get dressed. You're coming with me" Clarke tells Emerson.

He does as he's told and two grounders grab him as I open the airlock. I walk by Clarke's side through camp as the grounders drag Emerson along behind us.

"Clarke! Ava! What are you doing?!" Kane snaps as he and Abby block our way to the gate.

"Clarke, stop!" Abby orders.

"No! We're letting the prisoner go" Clarke announces.

"Absolutely not!" Abby protests.

"He hasn't told us anything yet" Kane adds.

"He wasn't going to" I argue.

"Now he doesn't have to. He's gonna tell them something" Clarke explains.

"Get the prisoner back to the airlock now!" Abby demands the guards.

"Yes, ma'am" They nod.

They try to make a move towards Emerson but Indra and her warriors unsheathe their swords, getting ready to fight.

"You may be Chancellor, but I'm in charge" Clarke declares like the badass she is and I smile proudly at her.

Both Griffins have a staring competition while my gaze drifts up to Kane. He gives me a pleading look and I shake my head.

this is for Bellamy

"Indra, tell your people to stand down before this gets out of hand" Abby orders.

"No" Indra replies defiantly.

"People could get hurt" Abby says, her eyes drifting to me.

"Not if you get out of our way" I counter.

"You need to trust that I know what's right for us" Clarke tells her mother.

Abby goes silent and I shoot Kane a look of desperation. He nods and takes a step towards Abby.

"The grounders trust them. Maybe we should too" Kane tells the woman and I smile softly.

Abby nods so slightly that I barely catch it before turning her head.

"Stand down" She tells the guards who comply.

Abby then steps out the way and I walk towards the gate, Clarke beside me.

"Open the gate! Now!" Clarke shouts.

The gate opens and I stop at the entrance. Emerson is stood in front of us and four grounders surround him.

"Can you hear me all right? Because I need to make sure you get this" Clarke speaks up.

"Loud and clear" Emerson grits out.

"I have a message for your leader. We're coming for him. You're watching us, but you haven't seen a thing. The grounder army is bigger than you think, and even if you could find it, your acid fog can't hurt them, and now, thanks to you.." Clarke drawls off before pressing the button on the tone generator to let out a screech "Neither can the Reapers"

"So you have one last chance. Let our people go, and we'll let you live. It's just that simple" She adds.

"I got it" Emerson says sarcastically.

Clarke grabs the wire attached to his oxygen tank and my brows furrow in confusion.

"It's an eight hour walk back to Mount Weather" She states before letting out a bunch of air from his tank "You're gonna do it in six"

"Six hours? That's not enough. How am I supposed to deliver your message?" Emerson argues.

"That's your problem. Now go" Clarke snaps.

Emerson immediately listens, turning and starting to run towards the trees.

"You want to explain to me how this helps my brother?" I hear Octavia ask and I turn around.

"I just told him we have a secret army to worry about. The more they're looking at us, the less they're looking at him" Clarke explains.

"Bellamy is the key to everything, Octavia. If he dies, we die" She adds.

Clarke marches off and I make my way back to engineering, hoping that this all works out in our favour.
