I'm stood next to Clarke and Lexa as Monroe drills a hole in the door of Mount Weather.

"That should do it" Monroe states.

"Bombs away" She adds.

David hands me the canister and I look at him in confusion as I take it.

"Raven said you'd know what to do" He elaborates and I snort, rolling my eyes.

"Of course she did" I reply.

"Be careful" Clarke warns me.

"When am I not careful, blondie?" I ask sarcastically and she shoots me a look that screams 'are you for real?' to which I smirk in return.

I head up to the door and Lincoln follows behind me with David.

"Archers, watch the trees!" Lexa demands.

I get to the door and hold the ticking time bomb in my hand up. My hands shake a little and I gulp, trying to calm my nerves. One wrong slip and we're toast.

"Hey" I hear Lincoln say as he puts a hand on my arm "You can do this"

"What if we're too late?" I whisper.

"What if we're not?" Lincoln counters.

"Just draw strength from your friends. From Bellamy" He advises me and I nod.

"This mountain has taken too much from all of us" I state and now it's Lincoln's turn to nod.

I take the hydrazine bomb out of the canister and carefully place it inside the hole that Monroe made. I take a close look at the wires on the panel before pressing the right button, which makes the bomb start beeping and I turn to Clarke.

"Now we wait" I declare.

We wait for what feels like hours and soon enough the sun goes down, the darkness setting in.

"Raven and Wick are taking their sweet time" I grumble as I sit with Lincoln and Monroe.

"You think everyone is okay?" Monroe asks me curiously.

"I don't know. I hope so" I tell her truthfully.

"Bellamy will look after your friends" Lincoln assures us.

"You've got a lot of faith in a guy who tortured you" I comment and Lincoln rolls his eyes.

"We've all made mistakes and we'll all continue to make mistakes. We're only human at the end of the day" Lincoln sighs.

"I guess you're right" I shrug.

"Of course I'm right" He replies confidently.

"Cocky much?" I ask and he chuckles.

A round of gunshots go off and I'm immediately on my feet.

"Let's go" Lincoln snaps and runs off.

Monroe and I chase him up to where Lexa and Clarke are standing as more gunshots go off.

"It's coming from the dam" Lincoln tells them.

"They know we're going for the power" Clarke gasps.

"They know we're going for the door" Lexa corrects.

Lincoln starts yelling in trigedasleng as I focus on Clarke and Lexa.

"Raven will get it done. She's one of us" Monroe assures Clarke.

"She's Raven Reyes. If there's one thing she's an expert at, it's blowing things up" I chuckle.

"As soon as those lights go off, you push that button" David tells Clarke.

"We'll do the rest" Lincoln adds and I nod, tightening my grip on my bow.

Suddenly I hear a loud explosion and the lights at the door die.

"She did it" Clarke grins in relief.

"Thank you, Raven" I mutter under my breath.

"One minute starting now" David states.

Clarke holds the button up in between her and Lexa.

"For those we've lost..." The older blonde starts.

"And those we'll soon find" Lexa finishes.

They both grab the remote and push the button together. I get ready for another explosion but nothing happens.

Clarke desperately clicks the button a thousand times and I groan loudly in frustration.

"What's wrong? Why isn't it working?" Lexa worries.

"They're jamming the signal" I answer the Commander.

"I have to get closer" Clarke snaps, walking forward.

Suddenly bullets start raining down on us and I grab Lexa, yanking her to the ground as Lincoln tackles Clarke.

"45 seconds!" David shouts over the gunshots.

"Flank the shooters! Go!" Lexa orders her army.

"If I can get there, I can trigger it manually" David tells us.

"No. You can't get there" Clarke replies.

"For Nate, I have to try" David retorts.

"David, I can-" He cuts me off.

"Stay here. If anything goes wrong, you look out for my boy, okay?" He says to me and I nod.

"Of course" I answer him.

"Shield wall! Now! Take him to the door!" Lexa screams.

The grounders make a shield using sheets of metal and David stands in the middle of them as they run off.

"30 seconds!" Clarke hollers.

One by one, I watch as all the grounders are slaughtered and I lose sight of David.

"We'll find another way in" Lexa tells Clarke.

"There is no other way in! You know that!" Clarke shrieks.

"We don't need one" Lincoln says, lighting the end of an arrow on fire.

He hands it to me and my eyes widen.

"I can't, Linc. I can't do this" I panic.

"Of course you can. You're the best archer i've seen in years" He encourages me.

"Ten seconds!" Clarke shouts and I snatch the flaming arrow, knocking it into my bow.

I aim at the bomb in the door and take in a deep breathe.

"Five seconds!" Clarke snaps.

"Four, three, two-" Before she can get to one, I let go of the arrow and it flies towards the door.

I watch as it hits the bomb and the explosion that follows makes me grin happily as I collapse against the rock beside Lincoln.

"I did it" I laugh breathily.

"I told you so" Lincoln grins.

"It worked!" Clarke breathes out in awe.

"We need to get to that ridge and take out the shooters" Lexa states.

Lincoln gets up but Lexa yanks him back down.

"No! You stay with Clarke!" She demands.

"When the shooting stops, you get that door open" She adds.

"Go!" She yells at her other men, who all follow her.

We wait patiently until all sounds die down. Lincoln stands up and I grab his arm.

"Lincoln" I warn him.

"Lexa did it" He tells us.

Clarke and I stand up too but this doesn't feel like the end and my stomach churns in worry.

"Clarke, Ava, look" Monroe speaks.

I see the metal sheets moving and I pray to all the gods that it's David.

"Make sure he's okay" Clarke demands.

Monroe and I run over as David Miller emerges from the metal.

"Sergeant Miller" Monroe sighs in relief.

I hold my hand out to him at the same time as she does and he takes our hands, heaving himself up.

"Follow me! Two lines! Get ready to pull!" Lincoln demands.

Monroe helps David out the way and I stand beside Clarke as everyone starts attaching ropes to the door.

"Train your fire on the door!" Clarke hollers and I pull out an arrow, knocking it in my bow.

"Pull! Pull! Again, pull!" Lincoln yells as the grounders and guards all struggle to pry open the heavy door.

It cracks open and everyone cheers in excitement, me included.

"Hell yeah!" I holler.

"Attack now!" Clarke orders.

"Stand down!" I hear another voice demand and all our heads snap up to the ridge.

Lexa storms down with Emerson by her side and that worry in my gut starts to eat away at me once again.

"What is this?" Clarke asks in confusion.

"Hey, look! They're coming out!" Someone yells and I look at the door to see the grounder prisoners all stumbling out the door like zombies.

"They're surrendering?" I hear Clarke ask and I jog over to find out what's happening.

"Not quite" Emerson says smugly.

"What did you do?" Clarke asks, her voice calm but shaky.

"What you would've done. Saved my people" Lexa answers and anger starts to boil away inside me.

"Where are my people?" Clarke grits out.

"I'm sorry, Clarke. They weren't part of the deal" Lexa says before cutting off Emerson's restraints.

"You made the right choice, Commander" Emerson states before walking away.

"What is this?" Lincoln asks.

"Your Commander's made a deal" Clarke answers.

"What about the prisoners from the Ark?" He asks in confusion.

"They'll all be killed...but you don't care about that, do you?" Clarke says to Lexa.

"I do care, Clarke. But I made this choice with my head and not my heart. The duty to protect my people comes first" Lexa explains.

"You're so full of shit!" I spit angrily and Lincoln pulls me back a little before I do anything irrational.

"Please don't do this" Clarke begs.

"I'm sorry, Clarke" Lexa repeats.

"Commander, not like this. Let us fight" Lincoln pleads.

"No. The deal is done" Lexa snaps and the door slams closed.

"Sound the retreat!" She yells.

A loud horn is blown and the grounders start to retreat.

"You too. All our people withdraw. Those are the terms" Lexa tells Lincoln.

"They'll be slaughtered. Let me help them" Lincoln pleads once more.

"Take him" Lexa orders.

"No! Lincoln!" I protest but another grounder grabs me from behind, holding me in place.

Two grounders make a move to grab Lincoln but he tries to fight them off. They get the upper hand and manage to restrain him, taking him away.

"We will meet again" Lexa tells Clarke before storming off.

The grounder holding me lets go and I fall to my knees in defeat. I hear everyone packing up and I just can't find it in myself to leave.

"Clarke, Ava, let's go" David tells us "We'll come back with reinforcements"

"Clarke? Ava? Come on" I hear Monroe speak but I don't lift my head.

"It's over. I'm sorry" She sighs.

I hear her footsteps retreating and I finally look up to see only one person left standing.

Clarke
