𝗔𝘃𝗮'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩

I'm woken up by yelling and I crawl out my tent that I share with Octavia to see that everyone is awake.

"What's going on?" I ask Octavia who stands next to me.

"Look at that" She says pointing into the sky and I see what looks like an escape pod pummelling to the ground.

"Bellamy, get out here!" Octavia yells.

Bellamy exits his tent and comes up behind us. The escape pod's parachute deploys and it slows down.

"They're coming to help us!" Jones shouts.

"Now we can kick some grounder ass" He adds and everyone agrees.

"Please tell me they brought down some shampoo" Roma says and I roll my eyes.

I look up at Bellamy but he looks lost in a daze of what I think is fear.

Octavia and I run back to our tent to get dressed. I slip on my shirt over my sports bra, pull on my boots, slipping my knife into my boot and Octavia throws my jacket at me as we exit the tent.

I slide on my jacket and we head straight for where we know Bellamy is. We enter the tent and see him standing next to Jones.

"If it cleared the ridge, It's probably near the lake" Jones says.

"We should get moving. Everyone's ready" Octavia states.

"No one's going anywhere" Bellamy replies calmly.

"Not while it's dark. It isn't safe. We'll head out at first light. Pass the word" He adds.

Jones and the others leave the tent leaving only Octavia, Bellamy and I. Bellamy tries to leave but Octavia stops him.

"Everyone for a hundred miles saw this thing come down. What if the grounders get to it first?" Octavia argues.

"Bell, we should go now" She adds.

"I said we wait until sunrise" He snaps back and leaves the tent.

I frown at his receding figure deeply and Octavia turns to leave but I grab her arm.

"What's wrong?" She asks me.

"He's hiding something, O. We should follow him" I state and she sighs with a nod.

"I think you're right" She replies and we both exit the tent.

Bellamy rushes into his tent and out again, this time with his gear. Octavia and I follow further behind him as he treks through the woods.

It starts getting light outside and Octavia pushes me behind a tree.

"Bellamy!" She yells and my eyes widen.

"What are you doing?" She asks him.

"Go back to camp! It isn't safe" He snaps at her.

"You lied to everyone. You lied to me. You just want whatever's in that pod-" Octavia is cut off when Bellamy pushes her back.

"Just go home!" He shouts at her.

"You always want to play the big brother, huh? Well, guess what? Joke's on me. You're just a selfish dick" Octavia spits angrily.

"I did this for you! To protect you. If the ark finds out we're alive, they'll come down. And when they do...I'm dead" Bellamy explains.

"What did you do?" Octavia questions in confusion.

"I shot him...I shot Jaha" Bellamy sighs and my mouth drops open in shock.

"What?" Octavia gasps.

"I found out they were sending you to earth. I couldn't let you go alone. Someone came to me with a deal- Do this. Kill him, and they'd get me on the drop ship. And I did it" Bellamy tells his sister and I lean against the tree in surprise.

"You killed the Chancellor?" Octavia retorts.

"He floated our mother. He locked you up. He deserved it" Bellamy justifies his actions.

"I didn't ask you to do that" Octavia replies.

"You're right" He says.

"I made the choice. This is on me. Whatever they sent down, i'll take care of it" He tells her.

"I didn't ask for any of this" Octavia croaks and I feel for the girl.

She runs past me and sends me a quick look that tells me to stay hidden. I hear Bellamy start running and Octavia comes back, kneeling down beside me.

"I gotta go back to camp but follow him, A. See what my brother is up to" She demands and I salute her with a mischievous grin.

"Yes, ma'am" I reply jokingly and she smiles.

She runs back to camp and I continue to follow Bellamy to the escape pod. Eventually a large escape pod comes into view and Bellamy opens it up, sticking his head in it.

He goes out of sight but returns with what looks like a radio in hand. I make a move to follow him but I see a person inside the pod.

First, Bellamy. Then, unknown person in the escape pod.

I chase after Bellamy but I completely loose him. My waist is grabbed and I spin around punching the person holding me. Bellamy stumbles back, holding his jaw and my eyes widen.

"Bell, I am so sorry! I thought you were a grounder...or some perv" I ramble but he laughs.

"It's fine. Good to know you can look after yourself if you're going to be sneaking around and following me more often" He teases me and I roll my eyes.

"What did you do with the radio, Bellamy?" I ask, my voice quiet.

"It doesn't matter, sunshine" He shrugs my question off, grabbing my waist once more.

"You know that Clarke will find out and she won't be as forgiving as I am" I reply and he sighs.

"If it keeps me alive then I'll deal with Clarke" He states.

He plants a chaste kiss on my lips and I smile but then I remember the person in the escape pod.

"Hey, who was in that pod?" I ask curiously.

"I don't know. I didn't get a good look at her but from what I seen she had dark hair and tanned skin, a couple years older than you I guess" He explains and my eyes widen as hope fills my chest.

"I gotta get back to that pod!" I rush but Bellamy grabs my arm.

"I can't go back there" He objects.

"Go back to camp, i'll see you there" I tell him and he huffs but nods.

We take off in different directions and once the escape pod comes into view again I gasp. Raven is in Finn's arms and Clarke is watching them speechlessly.

"Raven!" I shout and she turns to look at me.

"Ava!" She shouts back with a big smile.

I run into her open arms and she hugs me tightly, the both of us letting out relieved breaths.

"How the hell are you here?" I ask breathlessly as she holds me at arms length.

"Shh! Hold on a second. Just let me look at you" She says, looking at me with a proud smile on her face "I knew you were alive"

"You're too damn stubborn to die" She adds and I nudge her arm.

"How is the Ark? Sinclair?" I ask worriedly.

"He's doing great" She smiles and I grin softly.

"Wick?" I ask.

"Cocky and obnoxious as ever" She replies and I laugh but it dies down when she stumbles, looking dizzy.

"Hey, come on, sit down. Sit down here" Finn tells the girl, helping her sit down.

I crouch down so I'm level with her and Finn gives her his jacket.

"Let me get something for that" Finn says, looking at the cut on her head from the drop.
