"Kouichi! Kouichi! Where did you go?"

Speed walking around an arcade looking for Kouichi, you searched every game hoping you'd stumble on him or his other friends. No luck lately since the place was huge and situated on three-floor levels. It's easy to get lost in places like this, mostly if you're not the type to navigate your way around. No luck on your phone either as you flood the group chat with messages. In your hand, you held Kouichi's jacket, which he left on a bench after he ditched you for a game.

Amidst your frantic search, you're interrupted by the vibrating sensation of your phone in your pocket. Thinking it was Kouichi, you quickly glanced down at your phone, hoping to see his name on the screen. Instead of what you were expecting, your screen displays your mother's contact name, and you immediately tap the green phone icon.

"Hello-"

"Y/n! Where the hell are you? You're supposed to be home an hour ago!" Asked your mother, loudly.

"Mom i-"

"I don't want to hear your excuses, you little shit! Get your ass home now!" The woman demands, ending the calling at the end of her bellow. Pulling your phone away from your ear, you peered down, fighting the urge to throw your phone on the floor.

When you finally spot Kouichi at a shooting game, you stomp over just to throw his jacket at the back of his head, earning a laugh from his friends, leaning against another game.

"Asshole! You ditched me!" You yelled, crossing your arms over your chest.

Kouichi peered over his shoulder, grabbed the jacket before it fell on the floor and snickered. "Took you long enough. Did you have to go for a number 2?"

"Very funny, Kouichi. Very funny," you replied, your voice unable to reach over the loud fits of laughter coming from the other boys. "Anyway...I have school in the morning so I'm going home,"

Turning on your heel, you were about to take your leave when Kouichi's hand grabbed your shoulder. "Wait a second-"

He turns you back around, smiling before he gestures a hand, aiming towards the game then asks. "Play a game with me,"

Looking over at the console, you shook your head side to side. "I can't Kouichi...You know how bad my mom can get when I'm late home,"

"What? A smack on the wrist and that's it. Someone is being a little overdramatic," He chuckles, bending a brow.

"Kouichi no-"

Suddenly, he pulls you towards the game, saying. "We can play one game and by the end of today, you'll know how to aim a gun like a pro,"

"Y/n....Y/n what do you want to play?"

"Play?" You repeated, gathering your thoughts and whisking the unwanted memories away. You mind is balance and standing in front of your face is Bakugou, holding his hips awaiting your answer. Behind him is the arcade with tons of games to play, lights blaring out the entrance much like the gates to heaven.

You hesitated, mind replying the memory in your head. Not wanting to spoil your perfect date, you quickly straightened your posture and peered over to the machines, spotting the row of claw machines displaying prizes ripe for the taking. You finally answered Bakugou's question. "The claw machines look fun,"

Taking your hand into his, Bakugou pulled you alongside him. It's then he noticed a look. A look that tells him that your mind is playing dirty tricks on you by bringing up useless memories. Somehow he wished to rid you of them for good like Aizawa wanted when he first moved you into the dorms.

Eager for the machines, one caught your eye. In an instant, you part from Bakugou rushing over to the game where you exclaimed. "Katsuki look! it's you, Todoroki, and Midoriya as plushies!"

"Huh? Since when was this a thing?" He asked, confused. Bakugou followed you, eyes meeting a tiny version of himself dressed in his winter costume starring back at him. On the glass, he sees the hero names, styled in bright colours and bold lettering. However, one mistake made his blood roil.

"IT'S GREAT EXPLOSION MURDER GOD DYNAMIGHT!!" He roared. His voice shaking the entire floor so much the building jumped. Bystanders stopped to stare for a moment as the fiery blonde shot smoke out of his ears and his hands closing into a fist. He needed to make a complaint to the company responsible.

As you looked over the prizes on display, a screen played showing the trios heroism during their first year at UA (did I use the japnese name or nah? I don't remember). From the sports festival to the war, the three were amazing and inspiring which leads you to say.

Scourging inside your pockets for your coins, you tugged on Bakugou's sleeve like a desperate little child pleading for his attention. "Come here,"

"Wait a second I'm sending a text-" he replied, tapping away on his phone until you cut him off.

"Come here!" You repeated, raising your voice.

"Fine jesus!" Bakugou yelled back, allowing your pestering to continue for a little while longer.

"I want them all!" You yelled, pulling Bakugou in by his arm. Tapping on the glass, you gestured at the Bakugou plush sitting on top of the pile. "Win me your plushy first then Midoriya and Todoroki's!"

It took one coin for Bakugou for him to pick up three plushies simultaneously. Two Bakugou's and one Todoroki tangled together by an accessory. You watched in awe, clapping your hands while squealing. You watched Bakugou move the claw and drop the prizes into the box, you instantly kneeled down for them. With the next coin, Bakugou grabbed the midoriya doll at your request.

When all three including the duplicate were in your grasp, you're smiled as you hugged them tight against your chest. Rising from your kneeling position, you beamed.

"Thank you!" You shout, peering up and kissing Bakugou on the cheek. "Let's play another game!"

As you both manoeuvre through the arcade, scanning the games, several messages pinged onto Bakugou's phone. Surprise to see his mother's name on the screen calling for him, he doesn't hesitate and answers, "what do you want now you old hag?"

"Don't call me a hag!"

You ran ahead, watching a couple of boys playing a shooting game. As you observed quietly, you could tell the tell were having fun while shooting down targets. Clinging onto your plushies, you took a step back.

"We can play one game and by the end of today, you'll know how to aim a gun like a pro,"

Get out of my head Kouichi, you cursed internally, lightly tapping on your own forehead. Of all days, memories swarm in, ruining a perfect day out. How could this day get any worse? Leaving the boys to themselves, you return to Bakugou, lips forming a frown. Bakugou had just finished the call when he noticed your look.

"What's wrong?" Asked Bakugou, shoving the phone back in his pocket. You shook your head.

"Sorry," You said instantly. "-just a stupid memory,"

Peering over your shoulder, Bakugou pieced together the cause of your mood drastically changing. The game and the guns sitting in their holsters.

You opened your mouth to speak, to apologise once more but he stops you. "No more apologies,"

When you nod your head in response he sighs, throwing his right arm over your shoulder and kisses the top of your head.

"Hungry?" He asked bringing out a small smile upon your face.

"Yeah I guess so," you answered rather quickly, allowing yourself to be pulled alongside Bakugou. You also realised the place you were heading to. "Are we going to your parent's place? I miss your mother's cooking,"

"What about my cooking?" He reminded you.

"You didn't season the chicken right the last time we visited." You lied only to tease him. In return, a hand pulled on your cheek without denying the claim. You laughed the pain away, leaning against his shoulder. "I love your cooking, Katsuki,"

My bad for not updating in the past 4-5 months :) laziness and money troubles got the best of me

If you're wondering why this chapter looks like shit it's because I wrote it on my phone instead of my laptop.
