✧ SYNOPSIS ♡ Jasmine surprises her long distance boyfriend by secretly moving to Slovenia with the help of his band mates.

    JASMINE WAS NERVOUS as she walked in the direction Kris mentioned that he'd be. He would be picking her up from the airport, the girl having officially moved to Slovenia. It was quite the process but her boyfriend's band members had helped in every way the four of them could without him finding out. It was supposed to be a secret for Jan to find out after everything was set in stone.

    Kris had helped her pick an apartment so the process wasn't as stressful. She visited a couple of times over the last three months to slowly prepare everything but now, it was time to start the new journey. She was quite thrilled to spend her days in the country with the people closest to her. She couldn't even wait to witness Jan's reaction. She had not mentioned anything to him or made it seem like anything important was going on.

    Jasmine and Jan were in a long distance relationship for two years with the two only able to visit for certain periods of time over the years. The couple had met when the H/C haired girl was on vacation with her friends and cousin; she had bumped into him whilst her cousin was essentially pulling her in the direction of a shop she wanted to visit. Their first meeting was memorable and they both began talking afterwards, discovering many things they had in common.

    She was ready to take that next step and live closer to him since she was sure that her relationship would only continue growing in a positive manner. She loved him and she couldn't see herself with anyone else, which was cliché but she didn't seem to care.

    She found the Dutch-Slovenian and gave him the brightest smile once he noticed her from his peripheral vision; the two walked a bit closer to each other and he brought her in for a hug since he hadn't seen his friend in a couple of weeks physically. The two of them were such good friends since they had some things in common as well. They had a bunch of time to get to know each other due to the last two years.

    "I cannot believe you are actually moving here, like you can hang out with the band as much as you want. Jan is going to be quite a happy person for the foreseeable future, I mean he never stops talking about you. You are my best friend but sometimes I wished that he would, so now he can." Kris stepped back from his friend after telling her what he needed to. He himself was excited to watch his bandmate's reactions, but who wouldn't be?

    Jasmine laughed and playfully hit one of his shoulders. "Oh come on, who could ever grow tired of hearing about me? I'm such an amazing person. Don't you agree? Last time I checked, you love me too."

    Her tone was slightly teasing and he was quick to stick out his tongue at her instead of rolling his eyes like he'd thought about at first. "You're hilarious, Jas. Of course, you're my best friend, but sometimes the band can use a break from lover boy. We do have lots of things to do."

    "Okay, fine." The female gave in and was quick to stop her teasing. She was aware of Joker Out's schedules now that Eurovision's over with for the year. They were busy and it was difficult to get used to for a while. She'd remembered all the times when Jan told her about his emotions and the stress he felt so she couldn't blame anyone for wanting to get things done when they needed to be.

    She never wanted to be a distraction and it's a statement that she'd told her boyfriend over and over again. She refused to come in the way of the band's passion for music and all that they needed to do because of their newfound 'fame' for lack of better words. To be honest, the contest had been the best for Joker Out; no, they didn't win but they were able to gain so many new friends and fans, it in itself being considered a win.

    "Let's go get your things and head out to the car. I'm sure you're ready to see him and I'm sure he'll be over the moon about what's happening." Kris assured Jasmine with such confidence that her boyfriend would truly be happy about her moving to Slovenia and she wholeheartedly believed it as well. The couple had talked about being closer before but neither of them were able to do so back then.

    Because of his band, he was unable to be the one to move, so Jasmine decided that it was better for her. She always loved a great adventure and getting to see new things. It's perfect for her honestly and it was made so much better by the fact that she knew some people from the country to help her out. She could feel herself getting antsy with the time that passed by but it was just because of the excitement bubbling in her chest.

    The two friends went to get the girl's bags and made their way outside. Kris lead her to the car where he helped her get everything inside before they eventually drove off to the studio where the rest of the band was. They all knew about what was happening and did such a good job at keeping it from Jan; that part was quite impressive since she thought that someone would've let it slip by now.

    The guys were keeping the Peteh busy so Kris had time to pick Jasmine up without the dark haired Slovenian asking any questions. She was thankful that the boys had helped as much as they had and she felt as though she owed them for their kindness, so she did think about a couple things she could do for them in the future, but she was taking things one step at a time.

    The drive to the studio was filled with this comfortable silence between the friends but the faint sound of music could be heard; the familiar voice of Britney Spears singing 'If U Seek Amy' playing before the car parked in an open space. The music had calmed Jas' nervousness but once the car was turned off and it stopped, she felt those feelings in the pit of her stomach again. Yes, she really was jovial, but she also had that sense of anxiety.

    Kris' voice snapped the girl out of thought as he told her, "I texted Nace that we will be inside soon. He said that they've been busy with a song. I should probably go help them, and I'm sure that you want to tell your lover boy as soon as possible."

    Jasmine nodded and the two hopped out of the car, heading into the studio. Kris was the one to open the door for the two and he gave his bandmates a knowing smile. Every Joker Out member besides Jan looked at one another which he noticed. He wondered why they were being weird but he didn't for long, seeing as his girlfriend walked into the room behind the other guitarist.

    The Peteh stood and sat his guitar down, a genuine smile forming past his lips. He did not hesitate to move closer to her and wrap his arms around her; the feeling of her body close to his own was something that he had found himself missing, although it was only a couple of weeks since he'd last seen Jas. It was far too long since he had gotten used to seeing her in person more over the course of three months.

    Thoughts ran wild inside of his brain but it was one simple question that was the most present. "Why didn't you tell me?" He could not shake the question off and he was quite curious the say the least. If he'd known that she was visiting, he would have been able to pick her up or something.

    Jasmine laughed at the question but felt as calmness rushing through her because of the male's touch. "I wanted to surprise you! I actually have something to tell you. You are going to absolutely love it.

    She looked up at Jan and noticed his left eyebrow was raised in curiosity, which she found to be cute. He then asked, "What is it, my love? It must be important for you to fly here. If I would have known, I would've been first in line to see you."

    Jan almost pouted at the thought of Kris being the first one to see Jasmine but there wasn't anything he could do about it. Every person in the room was aware of the fact he would've wanted to pick her up and take her out to do something, just the two of them. It was just how he was though, wanting to be with his partner as much as possible due to their situation.

    "Well—starting from today, I'll be living in Slovenia. Kris helped me apartment hunting whilst our other friends did other things that I needed them to. You better prepare for me to always be around because I'm not going to be leaving." As she finished speaking, the Peteh's eyes widened and his smile widened because of the happiness coursing through his veins in that moment.

    It was a minute before he completely was able to process what his girlfriend had said, but once he did, he couldn't believe it. "You are going to live here? I get to see you every single day and be graced by your beauty? Is this a dream? I love you so much and I can't explain how I'm feeling right now, other than filled with joy."

    He pulled her closer to him once more as he placed his head onto hers, still trying his best to process the feelings he felt. Jasmine wouldn't have to leave for weeks or months at a time anymore, he would get to see her in person as many times as he wanted. They could go on dates, hug and kiss, cuddle and watch movies. The couple could do each of the things they missed out on whilst being in different countries.

    "No, it's not a dream." Jasmine assured him.

    He responded with, "I love you so much."

    The two remained in that position until the Jordan intervened, giving a false cough as a way to gain their attention. "I'm happy that you two are happy, but we do still have get going on that song. Maybe Jasmine can be of help on this one since Jan's not going to be focusing on it."

    The last part was meant to tease Jan but his girlfriend wouldn't mind helping out with anything the band needed. She wasn't that much of a professional songwriter but she'd helped them out in the past, so it wouldn't be unknown territory for her.

    "You're so funny." Jan shot back before he went and sat back down, pulling Jasmine down into his lap.

    The band and Jasmine shared laughs and smiles before getting to work on the process of finishing the song. In the downtime, the boyfriend-girlfriend duo would spend time conversing about various things that they'd want to do in the future once she settled into her new place.
