even after kenzies hungover state yesterday, she had a snl appearance. her team told her that she was singing her hit song 'taste' .

obviously she was happy about that. she wished her friends were there to cheer her on though.

kenzie was putting on hoop earrings, along with a brown dress that stopped at her knees. she looked pretty to say the least.

she took a quick picture in the mirror , captioning it 'snl ton7ght' . kenzie did a 7 as a hint to what song she was gonna sing.

she just smirked and pressed story. she then looked around the snl dressing room and nodded.

as her set got taken care of, she just watched anxiously. the lights were low, and red at all their favorite parts of the set.

scarlett johansen stepped out of the wings. "everyone please do a round of applause for hit maker, kenzie taylor!" scarlett presented her, marking that it was her cue.

once the start of taste played over the speakers kenzie nearly had a heart attack, but sucked it up and walked out.

"oh I leave quite an impression. five feet to be exact." kenzie sang, once that little break hit she picked up a shot glass, downing it as if it was nothing. it actually was water just a little secret.

"you're wondering why half his clothes went missing? my bodys where they're at." she continued, the backup dancers gripping onto different body parts.

kenzie kicks them off once the line was done with. she makes sure her dress doesn't slide up that much, she doesn't want that to be what she's known for.

"i heard you're back together and if that's true you'll just have to taste me, when he's kissing you. " kenzie continued, in front of a female backup dancer, before pushing her backwards when the beat dropped.

she then walks to the other side of the stage, putting her hair to the side. singing along to the song. she didn't feel that anxious anymore. looking around the crowd before seeing a boy that she recognized. rudy pankow.

when the chorus was over there is a long pause between it and the second verse. kenzie made up that time to dance around the stage.

"he pins you down on the carpet. makes paintings with his tongue." she sang now going up to the male, getting close to him before pushing him back.

kenzie sings the rest of the song happily, glancing at rudy from time to time.

now it was finally time for the bridge. "everytime you close your eyes and feel his lips you're feeling mine. and every time you breathe his air, just know I was already there. you can have him if you like I've been there, done that once or twice. and singing bout it don't mean I care. yeah I know I've been known to share."

once she finished singing the bridge, she could tell rudy was grinning at it. it almost made her smile too. just yesterday she had something for milo and now something for rudy? oh i am messed up, she thought.

"you'll just have to taste me when he's kissing you." kenzie ended, sitting on a barstool, glancing at the guy in front of her. she then turns her head to the crowd when she says 'hes kissing you.'

the lights go low as kenzie felt as if she could finally breathe. obviously took a few more of those water shots out of relief before going off stage.

when kenzie got back to her dressing room her phone was dinged with notifications. one typically caught her eye.

rudypankow messaged you!

surely it couldn't be anything bad. right as she was about to open it, a knock could be heard.

kenzie stopped and furrowed her eyebrows. "come in." she exclaimed.

tate ran through the door, hugging kenzie almost immediately. "hi!! I almost didn't make it, that performance was quite literally perfect."

kenzie gasped and hugged her. "thanks tate! what did you even cancel?"

"oh nothing. i do have an after party planned."  is all tate says, making kenzie roll her eyes with a grin.

"whatever but no alcohol, cause I felt like shit yesterday."

anyways snl after-party is next chapter. my OCS never get a break. every chapter is either a lazy chapter or they do something different like events or even a party so 🥺🥺
