Summary ~ Jisoo has a secret admirer. They have been sending her cute little letters. Slowly she has fallen for her admirer. She has kept this secret to herself. Soon she finds out that her secret admirer was not only someone she knew but her childhood best friend, Taehyung. Taehyung has had a big crush on Jisoo but never had to courage to tell her.

Jisoo got to school and knew today was going to be another boring day. Or so she thought. She opened up her locker and a purple envelope fell out. She was confused but proceeded to pick up the envelope. On the back there was writing.

From: Your secret admirer

Before you open the envelope I just want to say that your are the cutest person at this school. As cheesy as this might sound, you are my light and the only reason I wake up and go to school. :)

Jisoo felt touched that someone took the time to do this for her. As she was going to open the envelope the bell rang indicating it was time for class. She groaned and headed to her first class of the day which was math. She sighed as she sat in her seat next to her friend Johnny.

“Hey, what’s wrong, Chu?” Johnny asked her. She just shook her head.

“I just hate math. What’s the point, it’s stupid.” Jisoo said as the class waitied for the teacher to come in.

“Plus, Mr. Choi isn’t even here yet.” Jisoo added on. Johnny chuckled as Jisoo looked at him.

“Is my misery funny to you Johnny?” Jisoo asked with an annoyed face. Johnny shook his head with a smile. Soon after Mr. Choi walked in.

“Sorry I’m late. But, today we won’t learn a lesson I feel lazy so do whatever, I don’t care.” Mr. Choi said as he started grading assignments. Jisoo sat in her seat with her head down wondering whether to tell Johnny and her friends about the envelope.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted with a ‘ping’. She took out her phone and saw it was her childhood best friend Taehyung.

The day went by fast. Jisoo smiled and got home forgetting about the envelope. She opened her backpack to get her homework and found the envelope. She smiled and opened it.

Dear, Jisoo
I know you don’t like romantic stuff that much but I really like you. You make me laugh, you always make my day. When you smile my day gets better. I love talking to you.

Hm, whoever wrote this must be close or at least know Jisoo. How else would they know she wasn’t fond of romantic stuff a lot. They talk to her so she must know them. She brushed it off and put it in her drawer. She continued her homework and after went to get a snack. The next day was the same.

Jisoo got another letter. This time different writing on the back.

This is the first time I’m doing this so I’m sorry if you always get letters like this. I wanted to try it because my friends have done it before. But you look so pretty today :)

Jisoo smiled but was a bit creeped out. They already saw her so she must have talked to them? Maybe it’s just one of those people she said hi to? She opened it and read the letter.

I hope you have an amazing day. You are the cutest when you act all 4d. I’m so glad I met you when I did because I don’t regret it.

Jisoo already fell in love with the letters, well whoever wrote them. Yeah she didn’t know who wrote them but if they go through all this just to write letters to her than they’re ok in Jisoo’s book. She got her stuff and headed to math. She sat in her next to Johnny.

She was once again thinking whether to tell her friends about the letters. Then she decided she would just ask if something similar happened.

“Hey, Johnny. Can I ask you something?” Jisoo asked. Johnny picked his head up and looked at Jisoo before opening his mouth.

“Sure.” Johnny said sitting up straight this time.

“Have you ever received any letters?” Jisoo asked not knowing how to approach this. It definitely sounded better in her head.

“Like confession letters?” Johnny further questioned. Jisoo nodded but continued.

“But you didn’t know who they were from...” Jisoo said explaining further.

“Why, did that happen to you?” Johnny asked with a small laugh at the end. Jisoo panicked, did Johnny figure it out already? Johnny looked at his friend’s panicked expression before saying.

“Chu, I was kidding.” Johnny said before class ended. Had they really spent the whole class period talking? She headed to her next class after bidding goodbye to her friend. This class was a mix with younger students so she sat next to her friend, Taehyung.

“Hey, Chuchu.” Taehyung said smiling.

“Hey, Tae.” Jisoo responded back with a smile as well. Should Jisoo tell her best friend about the letters? No, it’s ok. It’s not a big deal. Soon class ended. Wow, classes are going much faster today. Like that it was time for lunch. She usually met up with Taehyung but she needed to put her things away.

As she opened it, once again a purple envelope fell out. Two in one day? As she was about the read it someone stopped her from so.

“Hey, what’s that?!” Taehyung said yelling which scared Jisoo. She quickly his it behind her.

“Nothing!” Jisoo said as she smiled ackwardly. She continued getting her stuff being careful of Taehyung to not see the envelope.

“Hey Tae, I have to go to the bathroom. Wait for me at our usual table, ok.” Jisoo said as said boy nodded. He skipped to the cafeteria as Jisoo walked to the bathroom and locked herself in a stall.

I really hope you like these letters. I think they aren’t too cheesy, right? Well have a great day!

Jisoo felt her face become warm. The effect this person has on her. She opened it up.

Dear, Jisoo

I really like you, as you may know by now. You are my everything. I swear you make my heart want to leap out of my chest. Also I’ll write you another letter by the end of the day.

Jisoo smiled as she put the letter in her backpack. She met back up with Taehyung. These days Taehyung has been a bit off. Jisoo noticed he’s a bit more shy when she is near him. She would ask him later though, she didn’t want to ruin his good mood. Soon it was the end of the day. Jisoo hurriedly went to her locker and opened it as the familiar purple colored paper fell to the ground.

She took it and left home. As she got home she texted her best friend first.

Well that was weird. He left her on seen. Jisoo decided she would talk to him tomorrow. She opened the envelope and read the letter. Wait, how did they knew she really likes purple?

Dear, Jisoo
I really want to hug you all day. But I get really upset when you talk with that one friend you have. I won’t say his name but I want you to only like me even though you don't know who I am.

She smiled but then realized. It had to be one of her friends, right? How else would they know all this. Were they messing with her? She really hoped her friends were not messing with her. She put it into her drawer with the others. The next day the next two letters fell out of her locker.

She picked them up making sure no one saw. Jisoo put them away till she got interrupted.

“Noona!” She turned to the source of the sound. Soon she was engulfed in a big bear hug. The hug was so tight she swore she saw stars.

Before, she could speak the person was faster.

“I–I’m sorry.”

Soon she realized it was non other than her best friend, Taehyung.

“T–Tae, I can’t b–breath.” Jisoo spoke as she slowly started to lose conscious. Said boy immediately let go as he apologized many times.

“So, why exactly did you call me to apologize?” She asked as she gathered her stuff.

“About leaving you on read yesterday. I want to tell you why just not now.” Taehyung said with a sheepish smile. Jisoo nodded and smiled as the bell rang.

“Meet you in second period. Bye, Tae.” Jisoo waved as she turned to head to her first class. Taehyung waved back with his cheeks tinted pink.

Jisoo noticed Johnny wasn’t here so she opened the two letters.

Dear Jisoo,
You really are so cute. I want to keep you in my pocket all day. So, I wrote you two letters this time. Once the letters end I will reveal myself to you. I hope you aren’t too disappointed when you see me.

She smiled as she opened the other letter.

Dear Jisoo,
I realized that if you were to be an animal you would be a unicorn. You would be one because you both are so beautiful, so majestic, so elegant and so cute. I hope this makes your day because you definitely make mine.

Jisoo smiled as she felt presence next to her. She found Johnny as she quickly put everything away. Soon the bell rang and she went to her next class. Then it was time for lunch. She hoped for more letters. She was really happy to find two more letters. She sent Taehyung to their table as she opened them

I didn’t see your friend and I was happy until I saw him. But, there aren’t many letters left. Only this one and two more. So, my queen you deserve the world, no, you deserve everything. Have a nice day.

Her heart fluttered. These letters make her feel like she is really special. She opened up the next one, not trying to make Taehyung wait too long.

Wow, just one letter left after this. I really hoped you liked these letters. It was fun for me to write these. The more I spend time with you I notice how perfect you really are, and how gorgeous.

She put the letters away as she met with Taehyung. He seemed a bit nervous.

“You ok?” Jisoo asked. He just nodded. Soon he wasn’t as nervous and tense as before. They laughed while eating, hoping not to choke while doing so. Soon Jisoo arrived home. She didn’t have homework so she took out every letter she has gotten. She noticed in every letter a letter was darker than the rest.

Wait, Kim Taehyung? No, it couldn’t be him. But it does explain his behavior. She smiled. So, it was her best friend all along. Jisoo decided she would not say anything and wait for the last letter tomorrow.

The next day she wore a black skirt with a pink t–shirt with simple vans. She didn’t want to over dress for when she met with Taehyung. She left her hair down and headed to school. She opened her locker and as expected down fell the familiar purple envelope. She opened it and smiled.

Dear Jisoo,
This is the last letter. After school can you meet me at the garden with the fountain? I’ll be there waiting for you. I understand if you don’t come. But please do, it would mean a lot.

She smiled as she dressed perfect for this. She headed to her first class with a big smile.

“Well well. What do we have here? Ms. Kim Jisoo is smiling in math? Her most hated class?” Jisoo turned to see Johnny teasing her. She smacked his arm in which he pouted in return. Soon enough it was after school. She skipped to where Taehyung wrote to meet him.

She saw him and back hugged him as he jumped.

“Hey, Tae. I got your letters. Thank you. I like you too.” Jisoo said shocking Taehyung.

“You l–like me back?” Said boy asked clueless. She nodded as she brought him down as he was taller and landed her lips on his. He melted into the kiss. They pulled away as both were tinted with pink.

“So, you’re jealous of Johnny, eh?” Jisoo asked as Taehyung pushed her away as he mumbled “shut up.”

“Plus, you look beautiful, as always.” Taehyung said.

“Why, thank you boyfriend.”
