Summary ~ Kim Jisoo has a crush on the school’s popular, handsome, and smart boy Kim Seokjin. She’s afraid to tell him because he is always around beautiful girls. She thinks she is nothing compared to those girls but what she didn't know was that he also had a big crush on her. He didn’t know if she liked him back though. Soon they both confess at the same time and find out their feelings for each other.

I woke up with my purple hair in very direction possible. I just recently dyed my hair and it turned out pretty good. I got up changing into our uniform. Yes, we have a uniform which sucks may I add. After I got ready I got an apple, bid goodbye to my parents and skipped my way to school.

I woke up in a good mood today so I was very giddy. I skipped to my locker and got my books out. I turned around and my smile dropped. There was my crush, Kim Seokjin. He was popular, smart, and handsome, yeah I know cliché but hey I mean would you ignore someone like him?

He was with the prettiest girl at this school. Bae Irene. I sighed and walked to my class. As I looked at them once more and we made eye contact. He gave me a small smile as I shyly smiled back. Then my mood went back up again. I went to my first class with an even bigger smile than before. I hadn’t noticed that my notes have fallen out of one of my books.

We had a test today too. As the teacher announced he was going to pass out the tests I rushed to get my notes out because I may have not studied but luckily we could use our notes though I doubt it’ll help me. I take horrible notes. I couldn’t seem to find my books and panicked. Did I leave them at home? Suddenly the door opened and in came Seokjin.

He walked over to me and handed me my papers.

“I wasn’t sure what your first class was so I had to ask your friend. But here are your notes, be careful next time. We don’t want them getting lost, alright.” He said as he lightly held my hand. I nodded as a faint blush was apparent on my cheeks. He soon left and a few girls gave me glares.

I ignored them and continued smiling. Today is starting off pretty good.

–Lunch–

Ok cross that. I failed my test. I knew it but oh well I can try to make it up. As I was in my thoughts I suddenly got pulled. As I was about to scold the person who yanked me I noticed it was Seokjin.

“Be careful, if I didn’t pull you those books would have fallen on you.” He said as he pointed and I noticed a guy picking up books that I assume had fallen.

“Thank you so much Seokjin! I’m such an idiot for causing you this much trouble.” I said as I bowed to him repeatedly.

“Don’t worry about it. I’m glad to help someone as cute as you and feel free to call me Jin. See you around.” He said as he smiled and left. I blushed and felt all giddy going into the cafeteria. My crush just called me cute. I walked to the cafeteria and I bumped into the wall a few times but I'm good.

There I met my friends, Jennie, Lisa, and Chaeyoung. I told them what happened and they looked so proud.

“What are you doing?” I asked Jennie as she was rubbing her eye.

“My baby’s growing up.” She said as she wiped an imaginary tear from her eye. I smacked her arms as she let out a whine. After a few more class, I remember I had to stay to help with a few things in school. There were a few people roaming around school, either from sports, clubs, or to help like me.

Finally, I got out. Why did it take so long, I didn’t know myself. I looked at the time and it was not too late actually. I sat outside for a bit till I felt water droplets.

The teacher called me in to help with grading a few assignments. I couldn’t refuse so I agreed. After a long time of working he said I could go. My mother warned me that today would rain so I brought an umbrella with me. As I was at the front of the school I noticed the silhouette of a female.

I neared them and noticed it was Jisoo. Kim Jisoo, the prettiest girl in our school, well in my opinion. She’s been my crush since school started. Today I was so glad I got to help her from hurting herself or failing her exam. I heard her sigh as the water droplets starting dropping a bit more heavy.

“You need help?” I asked as I stuck my hand out for her to take. She looked shocked but took my hand anyway.

“What are you doing here?” She asked as I ignored her and started pulling her to my car. Suddenly she stopped and I was confused. Did she get wet? The umbrella seems to be up correctly no water has fallen on her.

“Thank you so much Seokjin. You always seem to be there when I need you.” She said as I smiled. Next thing I know she took my hand in hers once again. My face turned red as hers was a pink. As we were walking I thought about how this would be a cute time to tell her I like her.

“I need to tell you something.” We both said at the same time. We both smiled and I told her to go first.

“Alright, I um. I like you. I always have since school started. I understand if you don't feel the same.” She said as she looked down. I noticed her eyes starting to gather tears but she didn't let them fall.

“I like you too actually.” I said as I grabbed her shoulder. She looked up and hugged me.

Since I hugged her back the umbrella fell and we started getting soaked. After a bit we pulled away and just stared into each other’s eyes. I’ve always loved her eyes, the sparkle in them making them look even more beautiful. Suddenly, we started leaning in and next thing I know our lips connected.

They fit so well with each other and her lips were so soft. At this point we didn’t care if we were getting soaked all that mattered was us two. I know what you’re thinking, kissing in the rain, cliché right. But it doesn't matter when you’re with the one you love.

“I’m so glad you’re mine now.”
