Pairing ~ Doyoung (NCT) x Jisoo

Summary ~ Doyoung is tired of breaking up. All he wants is a good relationship. Although he has a ‘bad boy’ reputation he is really a softie. He has some friends associated with Kim Jisoo. The school’s ‘social butterfly.’ He doesn’t acknowledge her until he spends time with her and finds her adorable. But she gets into an accident which leads to her getting memory loss and Doyoung lies his way saying he’s her boyfriend.

Kim Doyoung. He is what you would call a ‘bad boy’ or just a plain jerk. But once you get to know him he’s a softie. He’s dated a few people in the past but once they’re done they’re done for good.

Kim Jisoo. She is what you would call a ‘social butterfly’ she is and will be the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She gets good grades and can make anyone smile just by looking at them.

She has a good amount of friends. Kim Jennie, Park Chaeyong, and Lalisa Manoban are just to name a few. Doyoung, he has a good amount of friends too. Lee Taeyong, Nakamoto Yuta, and Mark Lee and a few others. They actually have the same friend group but never bothered to interact.

That was until one day their friends had agreed to meet up at exo café. They all agreed to meet up there. But in the end only two showed up. The group of friends actually set this up. Those two were the only ones who weren't friends with each other. Now they would have no choice but to talk.

As the two arrived they were just there awkwardly staring at each other. But Jisoo being the sociable person she is decided to break the silence. She stuck her hand out.

“Hi! I’m Kim Jisoo, nice to meet you!”

Doyoung would be lying if he said that sudden outburst didn’t scare him. He didn’t want to seem rude although that’s what he’s known for at school, he returned the gesture.

“Kim Doyoung, nice to meet you too.”

Soon they started chatting and they got comfortable with each others presence. You would consider them ‘acquaintances’ now. They smiled and laughed at the other as if they’ve known each other forever. Truth be told, Doyoung felt oddly warm when he was near Jisoo.

He felt comfortable with her, his heart sped up when she accidentally touched his hand. And if we’re being completely honest here the two were not completely alone. There watching them was three of their friends. Lee Taeyong, Jung Jaehyun, and Seo Johnny. They were there to make sure the two well more like Doyoung wouldn’t leave.

So far it was going good and they were updating their friends in a group chat without the two. Soon they saw the pair stand up and leave the café. The three boys stood up as well following the pair, trying not to be seen. Are they already leaving, the three males thought.

Soon all five people stopped in front of an arcade. The pair walked in with smiles etched onto their faces. Doyoung’s face being a bit pink. Soon the three males walked in with confusion written on their faces.

The three males tried not being seen by the pair and followed them around seeing them having fun. Johnny sent a message in the chat along the lines of “guys, I’m pretty sure Doyoung has a thing for Jisoo”

Jaehyun went along the lines of “I think Doyoung might be on a date with Jisoo noona but I don't think she knows”

While Taeyong went along the lines of “Yeah I’m not sure what's going on but Doyoung definitely has a thing for Jisoo”

While the three males were focused on their phones they didn’t notice the pair had noticed them. The pair gave each other a look but had a plan. Next time they looked at their phones they would make a run for it. Now that they knew they had an audience they were very close. Jisoo didn’t mind but Doyoung’s heart was racing.

He swore his heart was going to leap out of his chest. Jisoo was very close to him. She even held his hand. He was probably a tomato by now. But he didn’t understand why he was feeling like this. Was it because he hasn’t been in a relationship in a while? Once the pair saw the three males look down they dashed out of the arcade without being seen and Jisoo still holding Doyoung’s hand.

After a bit of walking around the pair decided it was time to go home.

“Wait, Doyoung can I have your number?” Jisoo asked. If she’s being honest she really liked hanging out with Doyoung. She was upset that she’s never hung out with him, he is really fun. After a bit of spacing out for the two students they snapped out of it, especially Doyoung.

Did he hear that correctly? He just nodded as Jisoo handed him her phone. He typed in his number with shaky hands and handed it back to her. Jisoo soon opened her hand out and Doyoung was beyond confused. Jisoo shook her head and giggled which brought Doyoung to his current state, a strawberry.

“Your phone silly.” Jisoo said still giggling. Doyoung quickly handed her his phone after unlocking it. Jisoo wrote her number down and gave Doyoung a hug before she left. Doyoung stood there for a while. As he stared walking home he kept thinking back on how how he was acting.

So as he got home he concluded that he has a crush on Jisoo. He got home with a huge smile on his face. He quickly went to his room and got his phone out. Doyoung went to his contacts and went to the new number put in. He clicked on it and put the name ‘My Noona💞’.

He put his phone away and couldn’t stop smiling. Now, with Jisoo she got home and went to her room calmly unlike Doyoung. She sat on her bed as she thought of names to put for Doyoung’s contact. She sighed and simply put ‘Doyoungie💫’.

Now, with the three males from before. Well when they looked up and didn’t see the pair they freaked out. They quickly left and couldn’t find them anywhere. They were disappointed but couldn’t do anything about it. So they called it a day and went home.
