As was tradition, your friend group spent Christmas Day together. The plan was that you guys would open gifts at the boys' house and spend the rest of your breaks from work at a ski resort in Aspen. You and Eren's collaborative Christmas playlist played throughout the boys' house as you and the girls were waiting to start opening gifts from one another. Connie and the guys went out to pick up the platters of soul food you guys ordered for the day. While you guys waited, you and some of the ladies in your life were in the living room.

You decided that now would be the best time to show them one of Connie's gifts. It was a box with three pairs of slippers. Two were adult sized, one saying "mama bear" and the other saying "papa bear". The third pair was a baby size and said "baby bear". Also inside of the box was a picture of an ultrasound, showing your far-from-done baby and of course, the positive pregnancy test in a baggie.

The news of your pregnancy came as no surprise to Denise. However, you somehow managed to keep it a secret from everyone else until now. "You're lying. Lemme see," Mikasa reached for the test in Gabi's hand. She took it and held it for her and Sasha to examine.

"Wait it's real ?" Sasha looked down at it in utter shock.

"Yup," you say smiling.

"Oh my God. Congrats !" Sasha squealed, embracing you into a hug along with the rest of them.

"Thanks guys." Uh oh. Here came the hormone tears. You felt as your eyes began to fill with tears of joy but quickly blinked them away with a few sniffles here and there.

"(y/n), don't mess up your makeup," Denise laughed, attempting to wipe the tears that were trying to fall.

𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬..

"You still didn't tell her ?" Jean said side-eyeing Connie from the passenger side.

"It's just never been the right time."

"Connie. You're only creating more of a hassle for yourself," Jean replied, attempting to reason with him.

"Still don't know why you're not going anyways," Eren grumbled from the backseat.

"Because of (y/n)," Connie's answers bluntly, before pausing for a moment. "And be honest. If I go on this tour, Zeke is going to take every bit of artistic freedom I have. Hell I don't know why you guys are going."

"The money is going to make up for it. Zeke promised us," Eren debated.

"Just like he promised Jean would keep singing lead with me. Or how he promised you and Armin you would keep your spots on drums and keyboard ? He's changing everything !"

" I hate to side with Jean but what the hell do you want us to do ?!" Eren snapped. "Quit ?"

You and Armin looked at each other without saying anything at first. "Well. We could at least look into it," Armin spoke softly.

Jean scoffed. "You guys have lost it."

"Hear us out. Hange opened their own independent label and they're doing really good !"

"Yeah ? And what happens if it fails ?" Eren questioned.

"Has Hange ever lead us down the wrong path ? Listen if you guys want to stay cool. But I'm out," Connie said.

"You're out ?" Jean reiterated, with question swarming his tone.

"I know it's selfish but if we stay now it will only get worst. Jean, do you really want to be in Trixie's shadow your whole career ?"

"No," he responded quietly.

"Then I think our decision is very clear."

𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫..

"Who's at the door ?" you call from the kitchen, as you and Armin began to put out the food so that everyone could eat after the gifts were done being exchanged.

Eren sprung up from his seat on the kitchen counter to go see. He opened the door and was greeted with the sights of Papi, Falco, Shawn, and an unfamiliar face. "Hey everyone !" He says bursting through the door with a sack on his back like he was Santa.

A skinny Puerto Rican Santa.

And behind him trailed a dark skin girl, about 5'7. Her ginger hair was in a curly fro that hung in front of her eyes ever so slightly and her body was nice and plump. She wore a crimson red blouse and dark blue jeans. "This is Darlene," Papi continued, reaching his hand behind him so that he could lead her inside.

"Hi guys," she spoke softly as her mouth turned into a smile to greet you all. "Nice to meet you."

You all, still in shock and confusion waved back, greeting her back with a mixture of cheerful 'hello's'. You quickly washed your hands so that you could greet her and also take the pie she had in her hand.

Before long, everyone introduced themselves and settled in for the gift exchange. Darlene was a sweet girl and according to Papi, was also his new girlfriend. She was originally from Florida, her parents being immigrants from Cuba. For a profession she was a lawyer but somehow managed to also make a career out of being an artist and had a Harvard education.

Darlene was very smart and soft-spoken and it was amazing to see her and Papi's chemistry. He looked truly happy. Apparently they met at a coffee shop. Papi was in there getting this refresher that he loved and accidentally bumped into Darlene, spilling her and his drinks all over him. He apologized on and on until Darlene finally decided that to settle the score, Papi could take her out on a date. And the rest was history.

First during the gift exchange, was her and Papi. Of course since they just started dating, they didn't go all out but Papi got her a new set of her favorite acrylic paints and a teddy bear made out of her birth month's flowers, roses. For his gift, she made him a painting, replicating a picture the two of them took in a photo booth on their first official date. Along with that, she got him some of his favorite cologne and candies. A bunch of "aw's" scattered across the living room as she showed off the painting, as the both of their faces were adorable and it was almost as if it was the actual picture.

Next, it was the boy's turns to give out and receive their gifts. However this year since the majority of them (the only one excluded being Eren) had girlfriends this year, they did a secret Santa. That way they still got to give each other gifts and they got to get enough gifts for their boyfriends. Eren coincidentally got Jean and Armin got Connie. Eren bought Jean a stuffed horse as a gag gift, but ended up getting him some new red strings for his bass guitar, since he always talked about how he wanted to switch up the boring colors. For Eren, Jean got him a brand new, customized pair of drumsticks and one of those circular picture necklaces, with a picture of him and his mother in it. The necklace was really more of a collaborative thing between Jean and Mikasa since Mikasa was the one to find the picture. It was sweet and definitely unexpected since the two of them presumably hated each other. They even shared a bro moment as Eren wrap his arms around Jean pulling him into a hug, which Jean at first attempted to wiggle away from but eventually gave into it. Next was Armin and Connie. Armin got Connie another Nike Tech suit to add to his collection, along with a matching Carhartt beanie. As for Connie, he got Armin a set of tea blends, a Harry Potter themed mug (because Armin is a huge nerd for that entire franchise), and a candle from Japan. The first time they went on tour, Armin bought the candle for shits and giggles but ever since he was not able to shut up about it.

Then, you guys gave Gabi, Falco, and Shawn their gifts. They didn't really give you guys a wishlist no matter how much you guys would ask for one because they were grateful to just be surrounded by you guys. So, all of you joined together to give them five hundred dollars each, which wasn't so much since you all split the cost.

After their gifts, the couples did their exchanges. Denise got Armin, coincidentally, the same candle Connie got him, a cozy sweater, a new Apple watch and a framed picture of the two of them on their first date. Armin got her an at home spa kit, a set of three matching necklaces with the both theirs and Marcus's initials engraved into them, and a Macbook, so that she can finally work at least a little bit from home so that she could spend time with both him and Marcus. And speaking of Marcus, Armin didn't forget about him, so he got him a bunch of toys that Marcus would point to whenever they made a Target run with or without Denise. Jean and Mikasa already exchanged their gifts the night before, only because Mikasa accidentally found her's and showed Jean his gifts in return. (ngl i'm mad lazy sooo drop the gifts yall think they would get each other in the comments lolsies.)

Now it was your and Connie's turn. Since he was so excited to show you yours, he went first. To start off "small" Connie got you a bag full of your favorite candies, snacks, and drinks that will last you a while. Next, Connie got you a new iPad along with an Apple Pen. He claimed that it was for you to keep up with your business but deep down it was for you to FaceTime him with because he hated being on your phone and Laptop since every time he would hear you type. Sometimes it was soothing to him but when you were rushing to get stuff done, it was almost as if you were punching the keyboard. He also got you PINK underwear and your favorite perfume. There was one more gift for you but he insisted that you opened it when you guys got to Aspen the next day. For his gift, you decided to leave the biggest one for last. You gave him the photo album from the movie "UP" decorated with all types of memories and pictures of the two of you. (fun fact : that's one of my boyfriend's gifts LOL. if u wanna see our gift exchange follow my spam ! ig :@merrymisaawithnolightyagami ) ANYWAYS. You also got him a big bottle of YSL cologne, Calvin Klein underwear, and Polo outfits and underwear.

Now was the time for you to reveal your final gift now that everyone was pretty much done. "So this gift is mostly for Connie but kinda for everyone else too."

"Oh shit we going to the Bahamas too ?" Papi asked, sitting up forward so he could pay even closer attention.

"No we're probably going somewhere else like...Paris- OH MY GOD. Please say we're going to Paris," Eren exclaimed, making his hands into prayer hands.

"Eren. Papi," Denise said.

"Yes ?" they responded in sync.

"Shut the hell up. Go head (y/n)."

You laughed and pulled out the gift box and placed it on Connies lap. He didn't waste any time to unwrap it and spot the pairs of slippers. His face twisted in confusion. "Papa bear ? Mama bear ? And.. Baby bear ?" It seemed as if the more he looked inside of the box, nothing seemed to click. You loved him but damn he was a little slow. He then began to unfold the pictures. He took a closer look at them and his eyes widened. As he started to process what you were showing him, you took the positive test out of the box and showed him to tie it all together. "Surprise !" You say quietly.

"Are you serious ?" Connie asked looking at you. "Like this isn't a prank ?"

"Not a prank."

Connie's smile stretched ear to ear as he stood up to hug you tightly, swaying you back and forth. "I'm gonna be a dad ?!" He peppered kisses all over your face, repeating the words 'I love you' over and over, earning sweet laughs to escape from your mouth.

"Hold up. Am I dumb ?" Papi asked.

"You want us to be honest ?" Mikasa joked.

"(y/n)'s pregnant ?!" Jean asked shooting up out of his seat to look at the test for himself.

"Dibs on holding him first !" Eren added, raising his hand.

"Him ? She's gonna have a girl," Sasha argued.

"No she's gonna have a boy and name him Rex," Shawn added.

"You're an idiot," Gabi responded.

"How ? Rex is a cool name," Falco rebutted.

"If we have a son, we're not naming our son Rex," Connie chimed in.

"Besides it won't matter. They're having a girl anyways."

"Wanna bet ?" Eren said, reaching his hands into his pocket.

"Wait ! Let me get in on this," Armin added. "I have fifty she has a girl."

"Damn can the baby grow first ?" you laugh.

It didn't take long for everyone to take celebratory shots, leaving you and the kids taking shots of fruit punch. Everyone sat around, already planning a baby shower and debating on who was going to be the favorite aunt and uncle. You were in the midst of laughing when you spotted Connie sitting down on the couch, still marveling in the ultrasound pictures. It wasn't much to look at since you weren't that far along but he was falling in love with the baby, already. "Hey. You okay ?" you ask, sitting down next to him.

"I'm great," he responded.

"You love her already, huh ?"

"Her ? How do you know ?"

"I don't. Just a hunch."

"Not to brag or anything but I think I would be a good girl's dad. Imma teach her how to do a backflip and play football."

"But you can barely do either," you tease.

"Woah.. You're right. But still."

He continued to look at the pictures as you leaned your head on his shoulder. Everything was going fine until you hear a knock on the door. Everyone seemed to caught up in baby conversation so you went to get up and answer the door. However Connie had you sit right back down and answered the door.

"Boys ! So glad I caught you before you headed off to Aspen." The man. The myth. Their boss, Zeke came through the door.

"Zeke ! What a.. surprise," Jean said, making his way to the door.

"A surprise indeed," Eren added, sarcastically.

"I came to give you guys your bonus ! And.."

"Of course," Armin grumbled under his breath.

"I came to give you guys an update on the tour ! At first it was optional for you guys but now you guys have to come."

"Have to ?"

"Yeah sponsors heard through the grapevine and already started to send money. Can't disappoint them now can we-" Zeke then got a call so decided to cut it short. "We'll talk soon. Merry Christmas."

Connie awkwardly shut the door behind him. "So you guys were going on tour and told no one ?" you asked.

"Wait. (y/n) you didn't know ?" Mikasa asked. This was genuine, everyone assumed that Connie told you but you were accepting of it, which you always were. And you would've been accepting of it. That is if he actually told you. But you know. He didn't.

Everyone's eyes shifted to look at you and then at Connie. "Apparently not. Must've not made it back to me." You took a deep breath and looked around at the things he got you. "I think I'm gonna call it a night ya'll. I have some packing to finish."

"I'll come with you-" Connie offered, reaching out to hold your hand but you snatched it away.

"I'll be fine."

"(y/n) please- I promise, I'm gonna fix this."

"We all are ! Before long-" Armin chimed in.

"There's nothing to fix. See you guys tomorrow."
