Donghyuck moves his feet and leans his back on the bench as he impatiently waits for Renjun at the park. He stares at the gate to see the people entering and exiting, but no Renjun coming.

He looks away and runs his fingers exasperatedly through his hair to push them back then sighs heavily. He watches the different kind of people in the park. There are children at the playground, there are couples across him having picnic, and single people eating their lunch peacefully.

He looks down and plays with his fingers. He suddenly hears someone calling out his name.

"Hyuck!"

He turns to see Renjun running towards him. When he arrives, he pants and holds onto his shoulder. He then speaks once he's calm, "I apologize for being late. What do you have to tell me, baby?"

Baby. He felt something thumping in his heart by hearing the pet name. However, he only ignores it and looks at Renjun. "Let's break up." he says, straightforwardly.

Renjun's mouth ajar upon hearing the statement. He creases his forehead and chuckles. "You're joking, right?" He observes the younger's face to search for any sign that he's only joking. But Donghyuck kept his face straight.

"I'm not joking, Renjun. I want to break up with you."

Renjun doesn't know how many times his heart has been shuttered, like a gun shot on a glass. He never knew Donghyuck would hurt him like this. "W-why?" He bites his lower lip to prevent himself from crying.

"I want to be able to find myself. Every day I wake up, no memories of the past are coming back to my head. I can't even remember my own family. Jeno even said that the house never felt so quiet every since I got into an accident. I felt bad for them, and for myself."

"I told you I'm here to help you."

"You're not helping!" Donghyuck raises his voice, "You're actually making it so hard for me. Everytime I see you, I always feel something in my heart that I couldn't even understand, and I don't even know what is it. I'm trying my best to remember you but I can't."

"B-but we don't have to break up. Please, I've been hurting."

"You're not the only one hurting, Renjun. I'm hurting, too! Everytime I see you, it hurts me. You keep calling me your boyfriend and I'm not even sure if you're telling the truth."

"I am telling the truth!" Renjun cracks his voice, his tears finally burst out of his eyes. "Donghyuck, I love you."

"How can I love someone that I can't remember?" Donghyuck presses his lips together. "If you really love me, let go of me. I want to find myself, I want everything cleared up for me. After that, I'll decide if I'd come back to you or not. We can start over."

Renjun suddenly pulls him into a hug. He sighs, "Can you give me a call if you're ready to be with me again? Please?"

Donghyuck pushes him away gently and stares at his eyes. "If after a year I don't give you a call, you call me instead."

Nodding, Renjun gives him a fond smile. "Of course. I'm gonna miss you."

Donghyuck slightly smiles back and leans closer. He presses a short kiss on the older's lips. "Just something to remember you by."

Renjun softly chuckles and hugs him again. "You're annoying, Donghyuck. But I still love you."
