"I'm really sorry (y/n)." Ocean has been apologizing to you ever since you all got back to his house.

"It's not your fault- Hand me a bandaid," you said pointing to the box that was on the bathroom counter he was sitting on.

All of his friends, except Eren, were waiting downstairs for you both to come down. Eren had left as soon as you guys got to the house. The only thing a little weird about it, was that since you were the last person walking in, he gave you a gentle nudge to get you in faster.

However at this point, it completely slipped your mind. You were now focused in on cleaning the scrap on the left side of your face. Once you were done, you slapped the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle bandaid over it. When you looked at it, you gave Armin a questioning look.

Knowing that you were probably going to ask why he has these type of bandaids at his grown age, he was quick to respond. "Look Eren and Connie need bandaids because they're always falling. And they really like the show."

You laugh to yourself, thinking of their childish ways. "Okay all done," you proclaim, going to reach for the bathroom door. Ocean followed behind you, down the steps. You grabbed your bag and board that was lying near the door. You said bye to him and his friends and went home.

Upon arriving, you hopped straight into the shower, since you knew if your dad was here he would say you "smell like outside". When you were done, right on cue, your boyfriend FaceTimed you.

Still irritated from the stunt he pulled earlier, you answered with an attitude. "Yes ?"

"Hey babe. Look I'm sorry about the hallway thing. It was so childish and I'll never do it again."

You paid no attention to his probably fabricated apology as you examined him. Zeke set up his phone, showing that his shirt was off and he looked a little sweaty.

Before we go any further, my beloved readers, understand this. (y/n) is no idiot. Her father and her mother (when she was here), raised you with as much common sense they could put into a child. And thanks to your dad, you knew the game. The ins and outs.

At first when you got with Zeke, you genuinely liked him. And as time went on, the liking turned to pure love. It all felt so perfect to you. And though things sucked sometimes, you still found yourself loving him at the end of the day.

The cheer captain dating the football captain. It was perfect. Those from the outside looking in, loved your relationship. You guys were the school's relationship goals.

Like every relationship however, things got a little shaky. And rather than actually fixing it, it got worse. Not on your part of course. You would try to talk some sense into him, especially after the last "cheating" scandal but it never seemed to work.

By now, you're probably wondering why you haven't kicked him to the curb yet. And to answer that, I'd need to talk about your mom.

She passed away when you were in middle school, about to become a freshman. She was your best friend, other than your dad. You told her about everything from boys to the new fashion trends that would transpire each year. She always listened with open ears.

Everyone adored your mom. If you were to ask about her, everyone would tell you how breathtaking she was and how her heart was one of gold. You wanted nothing else than to be like her. As a matter of fact, after she passed, you planned your whole life out to be like hers. You wanted to go to the same dream school, have the same job, and all. But one thing that you desperately needed to be just like her, was winning Autumn Queen aka homecoming queen.

She had won when she was dating your dad. The whole school admired their relationship, since they too were the football and cheer captains, and only saw fit that they were the two to win.

Now, you wanted to recreate that moment and Zeke was really the key to that. As mentioned earlier, you and him were the picture perfect, idealistic relationship of high school in general. So, though it came with a lot, you stayed with him. Just to ensure the chance of you taking home the Autumn queen title. Just like your mother did all that time ago.

"Did you have practice or something ?" you asked, curious about why he would be so sweaty.

"No. Just. Just working out," he answered quickly.

"Hm. That's cool," you respond.

You could cut the tension with a knife. You felt a weird feeling in the out of your stomach but you chose to shake it off, telling yourself it was just you getting into your own head. "So that blonde kid," Zeke started, calling your attention back to him.

"What about him ?"

"You guys seem to be getting closer.."

Here we go again, you think to yourself. "Zeke is this really what you called me fo-He's cool," you said stopping yourself from going off.

"I just wanted to say any friend of yours is a friend of mine. Bring him to sit with us at lunch tomorrow."

You were completely taken aback by what he just said. You'd be the first one to say it, Zeke was an asshole. So why exactly he wanted to all of a sudden be friends with Armin, was a complete mystery to you.

"You just hated him earlier today.."

"Yeah but I realized I was being a douche. I just thought he had a crush on you and got protective. You know how that is," he replied.

Actually I don't, you thought to yourself. You waited for him to continue. "I see your skeptical so I'll apologize when we see him tomorrow, yeah ?"

You raised an eyebrow and slowly nodded your head. "Yeah.."

๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ ๐๐š๐ฒ..

Wearing your cheer uniform that matched with Zeke's varsity jacket colors, the two of you walked into school hand in hand. You hated wearing your uniform to school but both his and your team, thought it would be something good for boosting the school's morale for the game Saturday.

You were a little nervous as Zeke and you made your way to the locker all your friends were at. "Good morning beautiful," Tay calls, watching you walk up. "Ready for practice today ?"

"No," you answer, half-joking.

"Speaking of, wanna go costume shopping after ?" Mango asked, her head leaning on Jean's shoulder. Shit, you had completely forgot that the two of them wanted to take you out on Friday for Halloween.

You nodded sleepily as she reached to adjust the bow that was holding up half of your butterfly locs, making your hair into a half up half down style. All of you friends, stood around talking to each other about who knows what. You, of course, were zoned out but only tuned back in when you heard Zeke trying to call someone over.

"Yo ! Over here !"

Your eyes shifted around to figure out who he was talking to. Low and behold it was Ocean. Ocean looked at you before looking back at him and walking over, with Eren and Connie close behind him. Zeke left your side for a moment to meet him halfway.

Mango and Tay slid right next to you, gripping onto each arm and waiting to see something go down. Jean saw how worried you were, for whatever reason, and walked behind Zeke to make sure nothing escalated.

"It takes a real man to own up to his mistakes. So I'm sorry for the shit I've done to you, Blondie," Zeke said holding out his hand for Ocean to shake.

Ocean once again looked at you and all you did was offer him a half smile. Remember when I said earlier, you weren't stupid ? Well let me correct that. You weren't necessarily stupid but you definitely had your moments. This one being one of them. For some odd reason you actually were beginning to believe Zeke genuinely felt bad for his decisions and torment against Armin. Of course there was negative side effects that would arise, but we'll get to those later.

"Listen I know it'll be hard to believe. So why don't you guys sit at lunch with us ? Call it a truce."

Zeke's hand remained in midair before Ocean took it and shook it.

"Truce."
