Standing in front of his mirror, Sadaso gleefully chuckled at his reflection and a look of mischief coated his features.

'Today I'll beat Killua for my sixth win, tomorrow I'll beat Valentine for my seventh win and then, I'll beat Gon for my eighth',The man planned,'Then, all I'll need to do is find two more chumps and I'll finally be Floor Master. I'll get all of the wealth and glory to set me up for the rest of my life'

A threatening and dark aura slowly filled the room, the air suddenly became so hard to breath it felt as if sandpaper were scratching along the inside of his lungs and lava were burning within his veins.

Frozen in place, he was struck with horror and sweat bellowed down the side of his face as Sadaso stared at the dagger positioned right above his head.

The metal of the item glistened tauntingly in the gleam of light and it felt as if every blood vessel within the man's body had completely frozen over.

'Move and she will kill you. Use Nen against her and I will kill you. Make a sound and we will kill you. If you understand, close your eyes',Killua threatened, his voice deep and dripping with venom as his narrowed, darkened eyes watched the man as he slowly closed his eyes,'Do you see what happens when you break your promises? If you do, open your eyes, look at me in the mirror and listen carefully'

Trembling with fear as sweat profusely poured down his face, Sadaso slowly opened his eyes and looked up, looking at the two children in the mirror, quivering in fear at their appearances.

The blonde haired girl's eyes had darkened immensely, they no longer looked like the bright, freshly made pot of gold; no. Instead, they now look as deep as thick, prowling clouds in a thunderstorm.

They were a completely different spectrum of color.

Her eyes were like the fog on a winding road, the gray in her eyes were as dark and melancholy as the ashes of the people she could have killed. They were the grey of the last ashes on a fire, tossed up on the breeze and the grey of the ocean an instant before dawn's first rays strike the water. Her eyes shone with the shiny darkness found on a beetle's wing, deep and lustrous darkness, like a forest pool under the shade of ancient oaks.

"Never show your face in front of us again",Valentine threatened.

This girl who usually looked as innocent as a flower and looked as threatening as a fly, now looked like a ravage beast stalking it's prey and was now, ready to strike.

'You'll keep this promise',Killua threatened eerily.

'Sadaso's time is up! Killua wins by default!'

Shouting out their complaints, the audience grew louder and louder at the disgruntlement of the situation.

As the gleaming light of the sun set shone on the building, Sadaso held a phone to his ear and felt the anxiety of what had happened fill his body as he explained what had happened.

'Those eyes... the boy's eyes had belonged to someone who lives in the world of darkness. And that girl... her eyes were..-'

Thinking back to what had happened, a shiver of displeasure rode up his spine.

'They belong to someone who knows nothing but revenge and torture. Looking into their eyes I was filled with despair, I could sense the difference in strength the second our eyes met. It was clear that they were the predators.. and that I was nothing more than their meekly prey. It was a huge mistake to underestimate them, they aren't just some normal children. I don't want to die so I'm getting the hell out of here, you should be careful, they'll be coming after you guys next'

As the call ended, the sound of disconnection buzzed through the air.

'Now what?',Gido questioned.

Without even thinking, Riehlvelt scoffed and explained that they were still going on with the plan.

He wasn't going to stop because of some children.

'Do you think those kids are gonna come back here to threaten us next?',Gido questioned.

Raising a finger, Riehlvelt grinned and stared at his companion with a confident look on his face.

'The boy and his little girlfriend have no clue what my abilities are',The man explained,'As long as we're careful about it, we should be able to handle them quite easily'

A sharp whistle filled the air as a stinging sensation fluttered across the man's nose, droplets of crimson painting the floor in a canvas of colored drops and a hard thump echoed as a silver dagger pierced the wood of the Bay window.

Blinking in shock, they both jumped with a start as they noticed a figure in the corner of their eyes and turning, they saw a figure sitting on the bureau; tossing a glistening, silver dagger up in the air and catching it as the weapon fell back down.

"You're wrong about that",Valentine stated, her darkened eyes menacingly glaring at the two men through the darkness the shadows provided,"You're abilities won't be a bother for us. Isn't that right, Killua?"

'Of course'

Jolting in shock, the two men quickly snapped their heads to the side at the new voice that filled the room and they noticed the silverette leaning against the door, his arms crossed over his chest.

Suddenly appearing on the bay window, Killua watched as Riehlvelt and Gido turned their heads towards him, jumping in shock as they realized the blonde was sitting beside him as-well, causing the two to back away from them.

'There's no rush. You see, we can always get to you. Wherever and whenever we want',Killua stated.

Suddenly, Gido felt a presence behind him and he noticed the blonde girl from before was no longer beside the silverette, feeling as a rush of cold washed over his body.

"At night",Valentine stated.

Jumping away from the girl, Gido and Riehlvelt looked down at the small blonde in fear and shock.

'When you're peacefully sleeping in your bed or when you're taking a crap.',Killua finished the girl's sentence and jumped down from the window sill, slowly making his way towards the blonde that made his heart race in the strangest way,'You should follow the rules. Without the rules, the only ones benefiting would be us'

Opening the door, Killua let Valentine go before him and swiftly followed after her, but not before he gave the two men a final, threatening glance.

As they got further from the room, Valentine finally let out a shaky sigh and felt as Killua looked at her, watching as she walked beside him.

Studying her soft features, the silverette noticed the way she anxiously bit her lip and played with her fingers, a nervous tick he noticed that she usually did.

His eyes shone like an ocean in the summer sun, looking as if sapphires were indented into the flawless iris and they sparkled like azure pools in the morning sunlight. His eyes were expressive, articulate all upon their own without his lips ever having moved thus far.

'I never thought that you could be threatening',Killua stated, breaking that silence that lingered in the atmosphere around them,'Like.. ever'

With a snorting laugh, Valentine slowly shook her head and turned to look at him; her eyes were almond shaped with thin lashes, her eyes played with light the way honey teases an unsuspecting sunbeam. When the sunbeam first notices the honey it looks like tea; a warm, orangey-brown and is intrigued with the warmth's intimations and so is trapped. Fascinatingly, it slanted into the honey from an angle higher or an angle lower and is enthralled, finding itself a splinter of amber fire caught in a viscous lantern that shines with such golden sweetness that to part from that beauty is as good as death.

Her eyes were like the tiniest kiss of sun had caused her to pause and encapsulate into a state of mystification flecks of gold scattered through her iris, like a melted pot of the richest, finest gold.

But oh, when the light caught them perfectly, they reflected a perfect shade of yellow.

"Don't be so quick to judge a book by it's cover, Killua",Valentine stated, playfully edging her tongue past her parted lips as she blew a playful raspberry,"There's always more to it"

With a small shake of his head, the silverette turned his gaze away from her own and let a small smile twitch onto his lips, his tongue gently running across his bottom lip.

She was definitely a hard book to read, but he would gently uncover her page by page until Killua Zoldyck saw the real Valentine Nitsune.

Over the next few days, the trio had continued to learn and practice Nen, but now, it was June 4th as the three were once again, gathered in Wing's residence.

'Alright, so today Gon will be fighting Gido and after that, Killua will be going up against Riehlvelt and then, Valentine will also be facing Riehlvelt. Are you three feeling alright?'

Letting out a low chirp, Zeus's obsidian eyes studied the three in front of him as he was perched atop of Wing's shoulder.

Immediately nodding their heads, the three beamed up at their teacher.

"Yes sir!"

'Now Gon, this will be your second match against Gido',Wing continued, turning his gaze towards Gon,'So you shouldn't acquire much advice. Have you settled on a strategy?'

Perking up, Gon quickly nodded and his eyes shone as he thought of the strategy he had come up with.

'Yes! I.. ugh.. I- I think I have. Here's the thing',Gon stated, before mimicking a fishing rod,'My strategy is to use that'

The trio tilted their heads in unison as they stared at the green haired boy in confusion and Gon turned his head towards them, gently sighing at their puzzled expressions.

With a gentle smile on his face, Wing slowly nodded and ignored the looks of confusion that were thrown his way.

'Yes, I understand..'

'The rematch you have all been waiting for is finally here! Gido versus Gon, their last match landed Gon in the hospital. But there's no telling what we're in for this time. For today's match, Gon is carrying a fishing rod, but how exactly does he plan to use it? Will he be incorporating it into his fighting style? Let's find out!'

As soon as the match had begun, Gon swiftly rushed forward and towards his opponent, but Gido had spun in place which caused the green-haired boy to immediately come to a hault.

Sending a barrage of tops towards the boy, Gido expected for him to be injured but was surprised as the dust cleared and had revealed that Gon had used Ren to block them.

Thus catching the man off guard.

Flinging his fishing hook towards the man, a small and barely noticeable smirk coated his lips as he watched Gido let out a taunting laugh, making fun of the boy's horrible aim.

As he made Gido believe that he had missed, Gon tightened his grip on his fishing rod and pulled with all his might, sending Gido flying into the air as a result.

A gasp of awe left the girl's lips at the strength Gon possessed and Killua felt a drop of sweat fall down his temple as he glanced towards her.

She did realize that she had somehow managed to convinced Mike; a trained, killing machine, to let her pet him. And yet, she was amazed by Gon ripping a stone tile out from the floor?

This girl amazed him.

Roughly crashing to the floor, Gido sent a cloud of dust into the air and he slowly sat up, letting out a yell of fear as the boy dressed in green stood before him, his fist raised.

Bringing it down with a roar of fury, Gon brought his fist straight through Gido's metal, prosthetic leg and snapped it in half; barely acknowledging the crimson liquid that dropped down his knuckles.

'If you guys resort to any means, then we won't hold back either! And if you even touch Zushi ever again, next time I see you... I'll break your face in half!',Gon shouted in rage, his fist shaking with adrenaline and fury.

As the crowd roared with excitement, Killua turned towards Valentine and as she looked at him she saw as his eyes glistened in the low light of the stadium, causing her heart to stutter in her chest.

'Well then, I guess that means I'm up next'

"He looked at her and saw the rest of his life in front of his eyes"
