IN A LITTLE over a month, Venus managed to go from one part-time job to three. Only one person in the world could say they were a barista, housekeeper, and a model/muse for a famous painter and that was her. If anyone had the same job description as her, she wanted to meet them as soon as possible.

Her weeks were filled to the brim. On the days she wasn't at the cafe, she was at Taehyung's house, deep cleaning every surface until she could see her reflection. And when she wasn't at Taehyung's house, she was at the cafe. And Fridays were reserved for her third job as Taehyung's muse.

Today was Friday, maybe her favorite day of the week for obvious reasons. Other than that, the weekends served as her chance to recoup and prepare for the next upcoming week. Usually, that meant relaxing baths and catching up on sleep.

Sitting at the Mocha House, Venus began daydreaming, fantasizing of what Taehyung would do this time around, how he would escalate from the last time. But mostly, it was to drown out the occasional whispers and gossip surrounding Taehyung's recent painting. "Just a sneak peek of my upcoming collection," he had announced to the public just after the first painting had been released.

Venus couldn't imagine people walking through a gallery, looking at her naked body on giant canvases covering a multitude of walls. Yet, she did and the thought was nothing short of terrifying, horrifying even. She imagined a hundred years in the future, images of her body being placed in some museum like the Mona Lisa, to be gawked at and marveled over as one of the greatest of all time.

A collection of paintings...all of her. How was she meant to feel about that? It wasn't like she was necessarily insecure about her body, but it was the equivalent of walking down the street naked. It was.. uncomfortable in a sense. Even if people weren't staring at her directly.

Taehyung asked her beforehand if she was okay with this, not wanting to push her too far out of her comfort zone. What was Venus supposed to do? Say no? She signed up for this. She knew what he was painting for and that was to show the world his art.

"Venus...Venus!" She hadn't even realized Namjoon was standing right next to her until he was basically yelling in her ear, something he hated doing. It was hard not to take notice of Namjoon, he was the size of a bear but had the disposition of a mouse, always shuffling around, walking as if he wasn't going to trample over someone. Okay, maybe that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but still. He was a hard person to miss.

She perked up, looking at Namjoon before gazing down at the two coffees he had in his hands. He offered one for her to take. "You look like you need it." It was still early and he was right, she hadn't had any of her normal morning coffee to get her going. Namjoon was quite the thoughtful person, observant of those around him. Most of the time, you won't even know he's watching unless he wanted you to.

Venus took it, offering a soft smile in return. "Thanks, Joon." She wasn't tired. Actually, she was the opposite, so anxious that her foot couldn't stop tapping against the floor, coffee would only make her jumpier, but she appreciated Namjoon's effort to be kind.

He smiled, his notable dimples poking tiny craters into his cheeks. "No problem." Namjoon isn't much of a talker. He says what he needs to say, does what he needs to do, and then moves along. If his input wasn't necessary, he wouldn't give it, simple as that. With that philosophy, the rest of them (that mostly being Venus and Jungkook, occasionally Jin if he needed his opinion) would go to him for advice. There was an air of wisdom around Namjoon, even though the man couldn't make a cup of coffee without burning his hand or hand people their drinks without spilling it in some way, shape, or form.

Namjoon moved on, carefully walking back towards the kitchen where he would help Jin bake while Venus and Jungkook manned the front counter as usual. With a single sip of her coffee, Venus continued on with her painstakingly worrisome thought process on how she could possibly handle having her body plastered everywhere.

There was also the problem of her face. Having her face cut out of the painting was dehumanizing in a way. It only focused on her body, like she wasn't meant to be an actual person. She could just as easily be traded out with one of those fuckable torsos and nothing would change. But if she had her face in the paintings, everyone would know it was her.

Or- maybe Venus was simply overthinking everything. After all, only one painting has been released to the public and this was still a relatively new job. There's a possibility that with time, she would calm down and finally get a good grasp on how everything worked. Taehyung looked so happy looking at the painting. Sure, it was attached to some fond memories, but there was also that sparkle in his abyss-like eyes that people only get when they look at something they're truly proud of or passionate about.

And if Venus managed to look in his eyes just at the right moment, she could see that twinkle in his eyes when he looks at her.

Venus was forced to push her draining mental war to the side as another customer came up to the counter to place their order. She couldn't let her meltdown interfere with her day job. It would be easy to, but she had to maintain her professional integrity while at work. Jin wasn't one to accept slacking or distraction during work. If he saw anyone on their phone, his glare alone was enough to make a dog scramble away with its tail tucked between her legs.

Jin, however, wasn't a mean boss by any stretch of the imagination. Wasn't some cog in the giant wheel of a corporation who wasn't paid enough to give a shit. He was simply a small cafe owner and his staff was family. If Namjoon was drowning in assignments, pulling all-nighters just to get enough done for the next day, Jin would send him home and have him catch up on sleep. If Jungkook had to take off a bit earlier than usual, Jin would let him as long as he helped him lock up the next day. He gives Venus paid menstrual leave, allowing her to stay home and deal with her cramps without worrying about losing money in the process.

Jin didn't ask for much in return, just that they respect his rules and him as a person. He was probably the best boss Venus has ever had. Even besides his kindness, he was admirable in nature. Like a father figure, always concerned with his children and their well-being. Once Venus came down with the flu and Jin went out of his way to come over to her apartment and take care of her with the help of soup, tea, and medicine.

"Have a nice day." Venus offers a sweet smile to the customer as she handed them the muffin and matcha they had ordered. With no one to serve, Venus went back on to daydreaming, yet, that was short-lived as her phone buzzed in the pocket of her apron.

She pulled out her phone just to briefly check if it was anything of importance, only to find, to her joy, it was Jimin.

Chim 🥰:
OMG?!?! I saw the painting it looks beautiful. U look so hot 😩

Venus chuckled softly. She didn't know if there was a more Jimin-type response she could have heard from him. He'd probably flirt with anything that walked on two legs. Not that his flirtatious nature was a bad thing, just something she now identified with her newest friend.

Me:
Thanks im not sure how i feel Abt it tho, having so many people judge my body feels odd

Chim 🥰:
Its okay exhibitionism is one of the more difficult kinks to get into. Its not for everyone. Give it a little time and if youre still not comfortable, talk to Tae Abt it. Youre still new. It may just be a matter of time y'know?

Jimin was quite good at reassuring her without completely discouraging her from exploring certain things. He knew from experience her distress wasn't unreasonable or irrational. She was entering a new world.

Chim 🥰:
Dont shut down and dont doubt yourself. You look sexy 😋 u and Taehyung make a very hot couple.

Venus's face became blistering hot. Couple. She and Taehyung weren't a couple, no matter how intimate their specific...situationship was. She worked with him, for him, and though they were literally having sex. It was a part of the set boundaries and standards that only existed in those strict instances.

They didn't go on dates, hold hands, stare at each other all lovey-dovey with hearts in their eyes and goofy smiles on their lips. She was simply his art project.

Me:
We're not a couple

Chim 🥰:
...yet

Me:
There is no "yet"

Chim 🥰:
There's always a "yet" with something.

Me:
Fuck u no there isnt

Chim 🥰:
I mean- Im down just tell me when Ooou maybe TaeTae can join

As stated before, he flirts with any moving object in the room.

Me:
You have 2 boyfriends

Chim 🥰:
R u suggesting an orgy 😳 so freaky already. im proud 😌

This man-

I love Jimin. He's great. I just wanna establish that he has no romantic interest in Venus. He just says shit so say shit and flirts with everyone. It isn't that he isn't attracted to women (he's omnisexual with a preference towards men/masculine people) it's just that Venus isn't his type sexually, they're both submissive for the most part.

Just wanted to make that clear.

Time for the TSA of the day:

“I was trying something new with this older women I found in a fast food joint, we hit it off in the bathroom. Few weeks later I went to my mother’s house for her birthday and she introduced me to her old friend, the one I fucked.”
-Taehyung

Thank you all for reading. I hope you guys enjoyed and I wish you all a wonderful day/night.
