Days felt like seconds.. It was Subhadra's 6th birthday

As usual she woke up early in the morning and did her music practice.. She took a warm bath and dressed up.. Was she excited? Of course she was! She ran downstairs to collect hugs and kisses..

Krishna picked her up from behind

"Happy birthday My sunshine" He kissed her cheeks

"Thank you Bhrata!" She kissed him back and got down from his arms.. She couldn't wait to see her presents which was hid in each chambers of that palace..

On the way she met up with Balram

"There comes my Birthday girl! Happiest birthday my little angel!"kneeling before her he kissed her on her forehead

She hugged him and thanked him

"You are searching for the gifts!" Balram sensed the excitement on her face

"Yess!" She said in delight

"But ruchi, Did you forget, Nani is sick.. So we didn't get You any presents.. I'm sorry " Her face saddened for some seconds

"It's okay bhrata.. I forgot about that... I'm going to the temple with Mata.. Tell maa to make me a special breakfast!" She cheered herself up and Headed towards devaki's chamber

Devaki dressed her in a cute Purple skirt and top.. She picked her up and they both went towards the temple

Subhadra's POV

I served the food to the brahmins as per Mata's instructions..

I took blessings from the priest.. He gave me sweets pulling my cheeks.

"I can't believe You are six chithra! In my heart you are still the 3 year old girl who asks for banana dipped in honey!" I smiled at him

He fed me a banana dipped in honey.

"Thank you!" I Smiled showing my teeth..

He smiled and patted my cheeks

Mata picked me up while climbing down the stairs

"I will walk mata.. You'll be tired if you carry me!" Mata smiled at me and gave me a kiss on my cheeks

"It's alright ladli.. I know You'll run if i put you down" i smiled sheepishly

"I won't run Mata. I promise.." She smiled and put me down.. She took my hands in hers..

We reached the palace

"There comes my birthday girl!" pithashree picked me up and spinned me

I giggled at earned a kiss from him

"What did you pray for ladli" Maa asked feeding me breakfast through her hands

"I prayed for you all.. And Nani!" Maa smiled hearing me

"Gudiya, can you go and call dau? He must be in his room?" Bhrata krishna said.. I nodded and got down from the chair

I went to dau's chamber

There wasn't anyone

I saw a box on the table.. I went near the table.. I opened the box and found a gold earrings.. It was for me!

I Understood bhrata krishna lied about the presents.. I started searching for my presents..

I went to Maa's room.. I looked everywhere.. I looked under the bed and found a big box.. I opened it..

"Anklets!" I exclaimed out of happiness

I quickly went to pithashree's chamber

The gift was on his bed

I opened it... There was a lots of toys in that box.. I couldn't control my happiness.. I jumped out of delight

I went to mataa's chamber next... I saw a huge gift there.. I opened it

It was a painting of me and my bhrata's.. It was so beautiful.. I placed it near the painting of pithashree and bua.

I went to bhrata Krishna's chamber..

I searched everywhere.. I couldn't find my gift.. Maybe he forgot! I sighed and went downstairs with all my gifts

"Did you like the presents gudiya?" Dau asked

"Everything is amazing!" I said hugging him

"What did you brought her kanha?" Dau asked bhrata krishna

"I forgot my gift dau! I'm sorry ruchi!" I smiled and told him it was okay

But i was hurt.. He never forgets about me!

"Maa.. Can i go play?"

"Don't be late.. And don't go near the sea!" I agreed and went outside to play

I was disappointed... He must have strong reason about forgetting about my gift!

I put a smile on my face and went to play
