Namjoon paced around, Yoongi tapped his foot impatiently and Taehyung stared up daydreaming about how to make a Virtual Reality game more realistic.
"You and your dumbass crush got me so hungry." Yoongi complained.
"Hyung, please stop complaining. We haven't seen him for a month." Namjoon shushed him.
Seokjin had left abroad to his grandfather's death anniversary. He never knew him so his mother always told him he didn't have to come, but he didn't want to leave his mother alone.
Seokjin opened the door of the cafeteria where all the dancers and testing staff were taking a break in. He was quickly hugged by Namjoon.
"We missed you! We missed you!"
Seokjin gasped for hair. "You're choking me."
Namjoon let go of the taller.
Yoongi did his short handshake with Seokjin. "I'm hungry."
Seokjin laughed. "You always are. Tae!"
Taehyung shook his head and smiled. "Hey hyung!"
"Make food!" Yoongi grabbed onto Seokjin's shoulder and shook it as they began walking towards a table. "Food, food, fooooood."
Namjoon quickly whispered on Seokjin's ear, making him look around and spot his target. "Let's sit over there."
He pointed to another table and Yoongi shrugged as they sat there. "Foooood."
Namjoon whispered on Seokjin's ear again. "Aegyo in exchange for food."
Yoongi pouted and looked away. "I prefer starving."
"Come on, I haven't seen my best friend in a month." Seokjin wiggled on his spot. "Pretty please."
Yoongi would do anything for food. Even embarrass himself to his friends. Yet again, they were his friends so it didn't matter.
"Aegyo, aegyo, aegyo." Namjoon started chanting, to which Taehyung followed.
Yoongi sighed. He quickly lifted his hands underneath his chin and made a flower pose, then he lifted his hands up to his eyes making V signs as he pouted his lips exaggeratedly, and lastly— "Poing poing!"
Namjoon squealed, Seokjin laughed as Taehyung just smiled.
"I hate you three. Now give me food."
Seokjin laughed. "Food's been ready you dumb turkey. It's getting served in the kitchen."
Yoongi punched his shoulder. "Asshat."
"Yah! Respect your elders!"
"Ugh, why is it always hotter in the cafeteria than the rest of the building?" Yoongi took off his jacket, leaving him in his black shirt only.
"Keep the food warm?" Taehyung guessed as he took off his own jacket.
"Tae get me food." Yoongi ordered as he flopped down his head on the table. "I'm too tired."
Jimin's mouth gaped open as he stared at Yoongi from the table next to him. Namjoon had told Seokjin to sit next to the "cute blond Yoongi liked" so the whole aegyo situation was just bait.
"Stop drooling." Hoseok said as he drank some water.
"Did you see that?!" Jimin squealed. "He just did a 180 turn too! All cute and then took off his jacket— lo-lo-look at his arms!"
Jungkook slapped a hand over Jimin's mouth, suffocating. "Go to sleep child. Just shut up and sleep."
Jimin wailed his arms around, hitting Jungkook so he'd let go of him, causing some dancers to roll their eyes as it was common for Jungkook and Jimin to play around like this. But Yoongi's table stared weirdly at the two.
Jungkook let go of the smaller boy. "See? Now I made him stare. Isn't that cute?"
Jimin punched Jungkook on the stomach, no really gaining a reaction other than a small squint from the younger.
"Will you two stop bickering for one second?" Hoseok laughed. "It's like I'm babysitting."
Jimin pouted and crossed his arms. "He started it..." He whined.
"You were being annoying while you started looking over at—"
Jimin grabbed onto Jungkooks nipple and twisted it.
"AH!"
"You both are embarrassing." Hoseok kept scrolling through his phone.
"Yeah right." Jimin rolled his eyes. "Who was the one that fell during karaoke because he wouldn't stop stationary skipping?"
Hoseok laughed. "Come on, is that all you got?"
Jungkook held onto his chest. "What about when you knocked over Minghao's birthday cake?"
"And Shownu's?" Jimin crossed his arms.
"And Rocky's?"
"And Lisa's?"
"And never forget," Jungkook turned to Jimin. "Yuta's wedding cake."
Hoseok frowned. "I should stop dancing around cakes..."
"Food's ready!" A dancer said.
Yoongi was the first to stand and he quickly made his way to get food. He was the first one back and he started eating, a little too happy.
"When was the last time you ate hyung?" Taehyung asked as he sat across him.
Yoongi shrugged. "Dunno."
Seokjin sat back down next to Yoongi, a second plate on his hand as he slid it towards the shorter boy who was almost done with his first one. "You're usually not this hungry."
Namjoon sat down across Seokjin next to Taehyung. "Hey guys!" He waved at the three dancers. "Sit with us."
Yoongi at this point didn't even dare to intervene. He was too busy finishing his first plate of food.
To Taehyung's surprise, Jungkook sat next to him, keeping his slight distance but Taehyung couldn't help but take his time as he ate to make sure he wouldn't be spoken too. He often got too nervous to speak not only to strangers but cute people as well. People made fun of the way he took his time speaking and all the humming he'd do while thinking, so he was very self conscious.
Hoseok sat next to Namjoon, and Jimin, of course, sat next to Yoongi.
"Back to Yoongi," Namjoon pointed at Yoongi as he kept eating. "Are you taking laxatives?"
Yoongi looked at Namjoon with a questioning look as he shook his head.
"Eating bananas more than often?"
Yoongi shook his head and kept eating.
"Probably skipping meals again because of stress." Seokjin said.
Yoongi swallowed. "Yah. What stress?"
Seokjin hit the back of his head. "Don't yah me. You got a lot on your plate now. It's fine if you have stress."
Yoongi had a 'Bitch what?' look on his face. "The hell is on my plate other than food? I have no stress. I'm just too lazy to make myself anything."
"That is such a mood." Hoseok chuckled.
"See? I'm not the only one." Yoongi then continued eating.
"I like cooking." Jungkook smiled.
"I do too." Taehyung said quickly.
"Tae, you barely can cook." Namjoon laughed.
Taehyung looked up as he thought for a second he quickly snapped his fingers. "What about the time I prepared kimchi?"
"That is a lot of work..." Seokjin sighed as he often made kimchi himself.
"Touché." Namjoon said.
"Jimin makes good sushi."
Jimin blushed.
"Huh?" Taehyung stopped eating. "How do you know what his sushi tastes like?"
"He brought sushi when he introduced himself." Yoongi lifted his napkin up to his mouth.
"Not very typical for a new neighbor's greeting." Seokjin chuckled.
"Yoongi hyung loves sushi anyways." Namjoon shrugged. "He would have just refused if it wasn't sushi, right hyung?"
Yoongi nodded, taking his glasses off to let his eyes rest for a little. "It was tempting."
"Jiminie is unique." Hoseok said with a smile. "He tries to leave an impression."
"That's not true..." Jimin mumbled.
"Hyung left chocolates on everyone's desk in all his classes back in high school one Valentine's day." Jungkook laughed.
Jimin threw a bean at Jungkook. "Shut up! No I didn't!"
Yoongi chuckled. "Cute."
