Taehyung was to say, the most nervous he's been in his entire life.

He adjusted his tie over and over before realizing he looked too formal, and took it off. His shirt was all they way buttoned up.

"I look like a nerd."

He unbuttoned two of the buttons and looked in the mirror before screaming in frustration.

"What the fuck? I look like I'm part of a poor mafia gang!"

He quickly started to undress himself.

"Never seen him this frustrated over an outfit before." Seokjin chuckled as he looked at his friend beside him. "Think Yoongi will be like that on his first date with Jimin?"

Namjoon shrugged. "Probably will end up giving up and cancelling."

"Guys stop talking and help me pick an outfit that will impress Jungkook!" Taehyung threw down his shirt on the floor, pacing around his room.

"You're making a big deal out of it." Seokjin stood up, grabbed the shirt. and sat back down to fold the white dress shirt.

"You're the one that said no gucci!" Pointed at his second closet, strictly for gucci clothing only. "I love you Gucci!"

"If Yoongi was here, he'd tell you to, and I quote, 'Go fuck your Gucci clothes and wait for the second date to show of your rich ass clothes'"

Seokjin took his hand to his temple, tired of the two's arguing for the past hour. "One! Item! One gucci item only."

Taehyung clapped his hands excitedly, running to his other walk in closet, leaving the two others alone.

"I uh," Namjoon scratched the back of his head. "I wanted to talk to you."

"About?" Seokjin smiled.

"Well, um, us?"

Seokjin gulped down at his hands. "There's an us?"

Namjoon bit his bottom lip. "I was wondering if there was a chance for an us in the future."

"I... don't know."

"I told you I'd wait for you to figure things out but," Namjoon sighed as he rested his chin on his palm. "I won't wait if there isn't anything to wait for."

"Do you still feel the same way from when you first confessed?" The older suddenly asked.

"No." Namjoon smiled to himself and turned to Seokjin. "My feelings are stronger now."

Before Seokjin could say anything, Taehyung came out of the closet (again) "Ta-da!"

"That is a full gucci outfit." Namjoon pointed out. "But damn you look good."

"I know right!" He smiled. "What if I wear a bandana with it? Jin hyung?"

Seokjin snapped out of his deep trance and smiled. "Bandanas always look good on you."

*~*

Oh no. No no no no.

Taehyung was suppose to take Jungkook's breath away, not vise versa.

How did he manage to look so good without even trying?

"Hi." Jungkook smiled at the older, a toothy grin flashing with brightness.

"You look hot." Taehyung's cheeks then turned red. "Hi."

The younger laughed and punched Taehyung lightly. "You look tense. Relax."

Although Taehyung took his words into consideration, Jungkook was mostly trying to calm himself as well.

"Let's go then!" Jungkook linked arms with the older as they walked around town.

The two had decided to meet in front of a clinic, and make their way down through town. Whatever sparked their interest, would be where they're evening was spent.

Taehyung cleared his throat. "So, how did you find your interest in dancing?"

Jungkook smiled at the memory. "Well, I wasn't born to dance like Hobi hyung, and I wasn't raised for success like Jimin hyung. I just... heard a song I liked, danced to it in public, and got scouted."

"That's all?"

The younger chuckled. "Boring, right?" He looked at his hyung. He looks so good with a bandana what the heck? Should I have worn something fancier? "I learned to love dance. It sure wasn't my passion when I thought of my future."

Taehyung turned to Jungkook. "Was your passion sports? You sure look like a jock."

Jungkook laughed nervously and scratched the back of his neck, looking away in embarrassment. "Gaming, actually."

"Really?" The older smiled. "Is that why you were upset at me calling you a noob?"

"Of course not," Indeed, that was the reason. "I didn't have the money to buy the games I wanted before I was scouted, or the right equipment to stream. So I gave up on it."

"Do you still game sometimes?"

"Yeah," He looked at Taehyung but looked away quickly. "Mostly Overwatch."

"Let me guess, reaper is your go to character."

Jungkook smiled as he finally looked at Taehyung. "How'd you know?"

Taehyung shrugged and looked away, sighing. "A nerd in a jock's body, had to be reaper."

Jungkook pouted. "I'm not a nerd..."

Taehyung's eyes widened and pointed across the street. "Kookie, can we go there?"

The brunette barely could speak after the nickname. "Sure..."

Taehyung grabbed the younger's hand and carefully crossed the street. He couldn't help jump a little as he approached the entrance.

"Art exhibit?"

Taehyung pouted. "Do you not like art?"

Jungkook smiled. "I do, didn't think you were the artsy type."

He smiled as he pulled out his wallet. "I love art."

"You're a game admin right?"

Taehyung nodded, passing Jungkook his ticket and pamphlet. "Yeah. Best one in the testing department."

"Well, how did you get into gaming if you're into art so much?"

Taehyung walked slowly, appreciating the art pieces he passed by. "Same way you got into dancing. I tried gaming and Namjoon said I was really good at it, so we got jobs together. I've always loved art. Art makes up everything in our lives."

Jungkook scratched the back of his neck. "Everything?"

Taehyung looked back at Jungkook then pointed at the giant painting before them. "What do you see?"

Jungkook frowned as he stared at the painting. "It's just a bunch of colors plastered on the canvas. No real image."

"What colors do you see? How do you think the painter painted this piece?" Taehyung watched as Jungkook got closer to the painting, inspecting it. "Word of advice, to fully appreciate a painting, getting to a position where you can fully see it, is best."

Jungkook followed his advice, following Taehyung to a point where the painting was fully at view. "There's a lot of red, brown, black and sudden specks of white. It looks as if the painter aggressively put everything into the canvas."

"Anger." Taehyung nodded, staring at the painting. "It's hurried off, no gentle hand created this piece."

Jungkook pouted. "What's your point then?"

"Art is how your emotions and thoughts are expressed into the canvas." Taehyung smiled at Jungkook. "The canvas can be a statue, a building, or even a shirt. Anything can be a canvas. You are your own canvas."

"Me?" Jungkook pointed at himself as they began to walk again through the exhibit.

"Everyone is their own canvas. Their face expresses their feeling, their fidgeting hands express if they are waiting on someone or if they are stressed, their winking or biting of lip is flirtatious..." He cleared his throat and looked away from Jungkook. "But a dancer... they express everything with a choreography. It's art at it's finest."

Jungkook let a giggle escape his mouth. "I like how you see everything. Full of emotions and thoughts."

Taehyung smiled and looked down at Jungkook's hand, smirking as he slid his own hand on his. "I think you're an exquisite art piece."

Jungkook coughed, choking on his own words. "I'm a-a what?" He stared down at their hands before looking up at Taehyung.

"I said... You're an exquisite art piece."

Jungkook looked away. "I heard you..."

They walked through the exhibit, Jungkook trying to decipher the emotions of each piece while Taehyung stared at the younger. As he had said before, Jungkook was a master piece of his own, and he was scared of looking away, fear that he'd be stolen away by thieves.

"Hmm? It's already over?" Jungkook pouted and looked at Taehyung. "I liked the really vibrant piece. The one with the blue shadow in the corner."

Taehyung just stared at the boy, smiling.

"Um," Jungkook looked down at their hands, fingers intertwined. "Want to get coffee?"

Taehyung nodded. "Let's go."

The two walked down to the coffee shop, hand in hand.

"Can I pay this time?" Jungkook asked, a little blush spreading through his cheeks.

Taehyung shook his head. "Nope!"

They entered the shop and smiled at the female cashier. "Why not?"

"Because in a date, one pays for everything."

Jungkook choked as the female cashier giggled. "Th-This is a date?"

Taehyung pouted. "Did you think it wasn't?" He turned to the cashier. "Matcha frap. No caffeine."

Jungkook swallowed. "Banana frap."

"Name for order?"

"Taehyung." He quickly gave her his credit card before Jungkook could refuse again.

She gave him back his credit card. "You're name will be called out when you're order is ready."

The two sat down across each other.

Taehyung started to fidget with his ring. "You are okay with this being a date right?"

Jungkook smiled. "Yes, of course."

Taehyung let out a breath. "Okay, good. Didn't want to suddenly make you feel uncomfortable."

"You're fine." Jungkook sighed. "To be honest, I'm really relaxed and comfortable right now."

The older smiled to himself. "I'm glad."

"Matcha frap and banana frap for Taehyung."

The older stood of and went to grab their drinks. Jungkook quickly pulled out his phone and texted Jimin.

Jungkook: He said it's a date, Jimin, quick, I haven't been on a date in so long, what do I do?

Jiminie: What do you do? 😂 Jungkook, you've been out for an hour. You're already halfway through. Why would you need help now?

Jungkook: Not funny! I'm nervous. Help.

"Everything alright?" Taehyung asked, placing down Jungkook's drink in front of the said boy.

"Huh? Yes!" Jungkook put his phone away quickly. "Why do you ask?"

Taehyung sat down again, holding his own drink. "You look... somehow troubled."

"I'm fine! Just, Jimin hyung, ya know... bothering me." Jungkook quickly grabbed his drink and began sipping from it.

Taehyung hummed to himself. "Hmm, your choice of drink is... peculiar."

"More like childish." Jungkook chuckled to
himself. "I like banana flavor, don't know why, just do."

"I think it's cute." Taehyung grinned at the younger.

Jungkook cleared his throat. "You're pretty good at this whole... going on a date thing."

"Really? First time."

Jungkook, again, coughed and choked, this time on his frappe. "First time going on a date?"

"Yeah!" Taehyung smiled innocently.

The brunette blinked. "Have... Have you..."

"Had sex, no." Taehyung laughed as his date looked away sipping his frap.

Jungkook shook his head. "I meant, had your first kiss?"

Taehyung shook his head. "No. I told you at the party, remember?"

"Ah." Jungkook looked down at his frap. "I forgot..."

"How about you?" He ruffled his silver hair a little, adjusting his bandana. "Have you had your first kiss?"

"Yeah..." Jungkook didn't like to think about though.

"You must have more experience than me. Plenty. I mean just look at how beautiful you are." Taehyung watched as he made the younger blush. "Right? You've look in the mirror, you must know."

Jungkook shook his head. "I've only dated for realsies three times before. All as you can see, failures."

Taehyung smiled, trying to lighten the mood. "Trial and failure. That's alright. Practice makes perfect. You know of that right?"

Jungkook nodded, remember his dance training. But his smile faded. "Guess I'm just practice then?"

"Pfft, as if! I was made for dating! I'm practically the best at it." Taehyung knew he sounded too confident, but making Jungkook smile was his goal. "I don't need practice."

Jungkook smiled. "So are you admitting you want to date me?"

"Hell yeah I want to date you. I like you."

Jungkook looked at Taehyung in the eyes, looking for the lie. The lie that he had been told before multiple times. I like you. It was always empty, and it never felt real.

Yet when Taehyung said it, it felt real.

"Do you want to go on another date Kookie?"

The question felt so genuine. Real emotion. A real, expressed thought.

Words could be art too then.

"Definitely."
