"Yah!"

Yoongi mentally groaned. Too early.

Jimin stomped angrily towards Yoongi, who regretted not waking up five minutes earlier. He would've already been in his car and on his way to work.

"I just talked to my real-estate agent and she said that no one committed suicide in my house." Jimin crossed his arms. "I was so scared."

Yoongi shrugged, holding his laughter in. "Could have sworn I heard some screams before from that house."

Jimin pouted. "You aren't scaring me."

"Good," Yoongi opened the door to his car, he did just say he was scared. "It'd be a little too fun if you got scared that easily."

"Fun?" Jimin tilted his head in confusion.

Yoongi threw his bag inside the car, landing on the passenger seat. "Listen, I'm pretty sure your short ass is younger than me so don't go around calling out for me like that."

Jimin frowned. "I'm 21."

"And I'm 24." Yoongi sighed as he looked at his watch. "Are you done frowning? I got work to go to."

Jimin huffed and stomped his way back to his porch, Yoongi waited for him to go inside his house. The blond turned around and shouted, "I'm not short!" He then went in his house, slamming the door behind him.

Yoongi laughed as he got in his car and drove off.

Yoongi had a simple, but fun job. He worked for a video game development company. His job wasn't as cool as his friend Namjoon's, who tested out new updates, neither was it near as awesome as Taehyung's who was an official admin for live gaming. All Yoongi was responsible for was checking for bugs and glitches.

Although it was a little boring to most, Yoongi found it easy and actually quite relaxing.

As soon as he was off his car, he was greeted by a good smack on the head.

"Morning Gloss!"

Yoongi groaned. "Morning. When will you stop calling me that?"

Namjoon chuckled as he caught up to Yoongi's left side. "When it stops haunting you."

"You both are here early." Taehyung hopped his way to Namjoon's right side.

"Well we had to come in time today." Yoongi groaned.

"Yeah, now that Jaebum came up with another good idea, meetings are going to pile up." Namjoon sighed.

Taehyung clapped, his grayish hair bouncing with his excitement.  "Don't you find the new idea cool though?"

"A dancing game." Yoongi rolled his eyes as they all went in the building. "Like there aren't already so many of them."

Namjoon ran his hand through his light brown hair as he pressed his ID against a pad to a door. "I'll have to dance to test out all the updates... That sucks."

He held the door open for Taehyung and Yoongi as they entered their designated wing. "You might not get that game assigned hyung." Taehyung shrugged.

"Everyone, quick, sign in so we can start our meeting as quickly as possible!" Head of Testing, Lee Minhyuk clapped his hands together.

The three friends went to their separate desks and signed in.

Yoongi put on his headphones as he typed his password in.

'Welcome Min Yoongi!' The usual AI voice greeted him.

Minhyuk stood on the podium, hands on the laptop. "Everyone seems to be signed in. Let's get started everybody. There's not much to say this morning so let's hurry up so you get right to work."

Yoongi clicked on his schedule folder.

'Today's Schedule:
Bug fixes on -
League of Warriors
Golden Relics
Guitar Villain
Fortcraft'

"Alright everybody, good morning. Happy Wednesday! Now by now you might have heard of the new game idea we have approved for development, Dance Now. This is very special game since we have partnered with the famous BigShot dance studio."

Some of the workers gasped as BigShot was very well known to provide idols with the best backup dancers and stunt people and even has some idols debut under the studio. Yoongi wasn't amused though.

"Usually our department is not involved with development of games but this game will be one of those exceptions."

The whole wing clapped.

"BigShot assigned their best dancers to come in on Friday and test out green screen outfits. Later on we will continue to work with them and provide them with all the necessary means for them to dance in our game." Minhyuk then pulled up a list on his computer. "We assigned the best person from each unit to attend the Testing. The following people are..."

Yoongi begged the gods for him to not get picked. That's extra work he doesn't want.

"Unit 1, Kim Taehyung—"

"Yes!" The smiling boy had stood up, a fist in the air out of excitement. He cleared his throat and sat back down. "sorry..."

"Unit 2, Park Jinwoo. Unit 3, Kim Namjoon," One could hear the faint 'yes' as Minhyuk said Namjoon's name. "Unit 4, Lee Taeyong. And Unit 5, Min Yoongi."

Yoongi groaned to himself as his schedule on screen changed to 'Verbally Given'

Meanwhile, Jimin was taking a break from unpacking. He went out his porch and stared at Yoongi's house across his own.

Compared to Jimin's, Yoongi's house was not only structurally different, but the color and vibe it gave off was heavy.
Jimin couldn't tell if that heavy vibe was from the house or Yoongi himself.

He shook his head and made his way to the house to his left, this time, the container he held today had sweet bread. He rang the doorbell twice before a short elderly woman opened the door.

"Good evening Mrs! I'm your new neighbor." Jimin smiled cutely.

The elderly woman smiled. "Ah what a fine young man you are. Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm Mrs Park."

"I'm Jimin..." Jimin blushed as he pulled out the bowl from behind his back. "I baked some sweet bread during my free time, I know it's not very usual to greet neighbors but... I wanted to be different."

Yes, Jimin was trying really hard for his neighbors to like him, so hard, he planned on saying the same thing to all his neighbors.

"If you ever need anything," He pointed to his blue house to the left of Mrs Park's house. "I'll be there."

"Well thank you!" The woman took the container in her hands as a smile grew on her face, her face wrinkling more than it already was. "Say, have you met the other neighbors?"

Jimin nodded as he pointed at Yoongi's house. "I met Yoongi hyung."

Mrs Park wrinkled her nose. "That boy is rather odd."

Jimin tilted his head. "Odd? How?"

The old woman took a step as she pointed at Yoongi's house. "Boy always has the same three people over his house as if he didn't have any other friends. He spends almost all his time inside if he isn't working and has a terrible dark humor."

Jimin frowned, already knowing about his dark humor. He looked at Yoongi's house. He didn't seem to be bad person to him.

"Better than old Bang Hyusik to your left." Mrs Park pointed. "Cranky man I tell you. At least Yoongi helps me out with the groceries and opens doors like a gentleman." Mrs Park clicked her tongue.

Jimin was surprised to hear such manners from Yoongi. "Should I say hello to him?"

Mrs Park waved Jimin off. "I wouldn't familiarize myself with such a person like him."

Jimin pouted. "It'd be unfair if I said hello to you Mrs, but not him."

"Suit yourself." Mrs Park smiled as she held up the bowl. "I'll make sure to return this empty."

Jimin bowed. "Have a good rest of the day."

"You too."

Jimin took a breath in as he made his way to his other neighbor. Maybe he wasn't as bad.

He rang the doorbell once, twice, and a third time.

When the man opened the door, he wasn't a very old man like Jimin expected. To his surprise, it was a fine man, maybe in his 40s.

"Hello I'm your new neighbor." Jimin smiled.

The man looked him up and down like Yoongi had. "Whatever."

And he slammed the door on Jimin's face.

Jimin's smile faded. "Asshole."
