Laughter filled Yoongi's house.

Something that had been absent for the longest time in the said house. It had been empty, for a little too long for Yoongi's own sanity.

So right now, the radiating energy from Hoseok, the good jokes from Jungkook, the bad jokes from Seokjin, the theories of science and art coming from both Taehyung and Namjoon, and Jimin's laugh... It filled him with a lot of positivity.

A little too much as he was now drunk from the soju Seokjin had brought. But of course he wasn't the only one drunk.

Yoongi and Hoseok were both laughing at the TV as Hoseok had insisted on playing animals videos but Yoongi wanted to put people falling to their death. So they both agreed on watching sports' fights.

Jungkook, Taehyung, Seokjin were playing video games on three different PSVITA's on a party game.

Namjoon and Jimin had just sat down on the table, the farthest from the rest of the boys.

"You sure you don't want a bigger ice pack?" Namjoon asked as he crossed his legs on the chair.

Jimin placed the ice pack on his thigh and smiled. "I'm alright. I'm use to all these injuries."

They were currently the only ones sober. Namjoon sighed and he drank from his soda mixed with soju, a very weird combination to Jimin but he couldn't really speak as his drink was apple juice and soju. "How long have you been dancing for?"

"Since high school." Jimin smiled. "All the way through college as well."

"It's fun to do what you love." Namjoon smiled to himself. "Specially with friends."

"Did you meet Yoongi hyung and the rest at work or before?" Jimin rubbed the bag filled with ice on his thigh, wanting to numb the pain as much as possible.

"Well, Yoongi and Seokjin knew each other for a few months before he met Taehyung and I at work." Namjoon nodded towards Yoongi. "He introduced us and we all kinda clicked."

"I met Hoseok hyung and Kookie when I went into Big Shot. They didn't live together back then, but were very close. But now they share and apartment." Jimin smiled between looking at his two best friends. "Bet you guys had lots of fun seeing how close you are."

"It was fun back then..." Namjoon sighed again, drinking half of his drink. "When things were better."

Jimin pouted and looked back at Namjoon. "You guys always hint at how Yoongi use to be nicer. Is that what you mean?"

Namjoon nodded and took a breath in, knowing that his words had to be chosen carefully. "Yoongi hyung, last year, went through a lot. Something I'd never wish on my worst enemy." He placed his hand on Jimin's, choosing to tell him of something that Yoongi would much rather keep to himself. "You can't tell him I told you. And if he ever decides to tell you, you never knew, okay?"

Jimin nodded and placed his other hand on top of his chest. "I promise."

"We had a big project at work. Something like Dance Now, but a little less big. At the time, Yoongi had started dating a girl no one had ever heard of before, we taught he made her up. But then we actually met her." Namjoon leaned closer to whisper the next phrase. "Her name was Suran. We never say the name around him anymore. She seemed like a nice girl, talented and beautiful at that. But we always felt like there was something off about her."

Loud laughter from Yoongi and Hoseok interrupted their conversation.

Jimin stared how Yoongi's smile seemed bigger than ever, his gums showing, and his laugh being a cute high pitched sound. Jimin was scared for what this girl did to make him hide it so much.

"Suddenly, Yoongi stopped hanging out with us a lot, but not entirely." Namjoon continued on. "We heard of some of our friends being ignored by Yoongi and how he no longer acknowledged them. He slacked off from work which made him get transferred from teams."

The younger pouted. "He use to be in another team?"

Namjoon nodded. "He use to be in the same team as Taehyung, he was an admin. Then... he disappeared for six months."

Jimin's eyes widened. "Disappeared?"

"Well not entirely. He was at home, here, with Suran for some of that time from what he told us." He finished his drink and looked over at Yoongi. "What has he told you of this house?"

"It's his parents." Jimin nodded to himself, proud of remembering so.

"It was his parents." Namjoon turned to Jimin. "After an argument with his parents about his future, they went on a work trip on their private plane, took the plane back to Korea after a few weeks... well I'm surprised you didn't know since it was all over the news."

Jimin's eyes turned sad and he pouted. "Were they the people in that crash over in Busan?"

Namjoon nodded. "13 injured, 2 dead."

Jimin quickly looked over at Yoongi, worry and sympathy taking over.

"He felt guilty that the last words he and his parents shared were yelled back at each other and he grew depressed. Suran, instead of helping him through it, took advantage of him." Namjoon tapped the empty glass in his hands. "From the little detail he'd let go, she used his money and... well... we can't make assumptions. She made him cut ties with all of his friends, even us."

"Didn't you guys notice what was goin on?" Jimin shrugged off the, not making assumptions part, as it would have worried him too much.

Namjoon shook his head, disappointed in himself for not knowing any better in the past. "From what he told us, Suran then left him for some reason, reason he wouldn't and still won't tell us. Then, he was left alone. He grew lazy, he wouldn't take care of himself and when his brother came to visit, he decided to stay with Yoongi to take care of him. Help him recover."

Jimin looked down at his thigh, removing the ice as it had made almost his whole leg numb.

"It took time but he was able to start taking care of himself again and reconnect with some of his friends." The older grabbed his cup and served himself more soda that sat on the table. "He never returned to his old cheery self. He developed trust issues with everyone, he hates going out an enjoying himself nowadays, and worst of all, instead of letting all his emotions out, he holds them in until he explodes."

"Explodes?" Jimin tilted his head, concerned for his neighbor's actions.

"Normal people cry it out," Namjoon mixed some soju in his soda. "He, on the other hand, converts all the sadness into anger. He can become pretty violent."

Jimin's eyes widened. "Has he hurt someone?"

Namjoon scoffed. "God no. I meant as in, he'll break stuff, slam doors, throw something against the floor, all that type of stuff. Yoongi would never hurt a soul. He doesn't have it in him." He nodded again towards the older as Yoongi changed the video to Gordon Ramsay funny moments. "This is the closest you can get to the real Yoongi. He probably won't spill his heart out, but he may be a bit nicer and he'll loosen up a bit. That's why he hates going to parties. He knows how, as he calls it, reckless he gets. He doesn't like opening up to people, but I'm sure he'll come along."

Jimin sighed. "You think he'll say something nice to me in this state?"

"Yup." Namjoon smirked and spoke his next sentence loudly. "Ah Jimin-ah! You are so ugly!"

Yoongi's head instantly snapped at Namjoon. "Yah!! That's rude!! Jiminie isn't ugly! You look like a fish Joon so shut up!"

Jimin smiled. "Thanks hyung."

Yoongi then continued on to laugh with who he, in a drunken state, saw as his new bestest friend, Hoseok.

"He's not a bad person." Namjoon smiled. "He never was, never will be. He'll come back around. I know he will. He just needs a little more time."

"How long has it been since then?"

"Four months. But, I understand why it's taking so long. He never truly had time to grief, and instead had to deal with what Suran did. It takes around 6 months to a year for someone to get over a major death. So as long as it takes, we'll be patient for him." Namjoon turned to look around, Seokjin was just standing up after losing the last round of their party game, and he sat next to Hoseok, wrapping his hand around his shoulder. The dimpled boy then chugged down his drink. "If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna get fresh air."

Jimin nodded and watched as the boy stood up and left the house. His eyes landed on Yoongi. He can imagine the boy smiling brightly at the sky, speaking of how beautiful the day looked. He hoped he would be able to trust people again and enjoy time outside of this house that seemed to hold so many bad memories.

"You can't keep spamming the buttons!!" Taehyung cried out as he tried his best to make attack combos against Jungkook, but the youngest kept pressing buttons like crazy, gaining beginner's luck at that.

"You just suck!"

"Oh my god, you're such a typical noob, ugh!" Taehyung whined. He mostly hated noobs, but Jungkook was a cute noob, so how could he hate him?

Jungkook then won the match and started doing a victory dance as he was still seated. "I win, I win~ You're a loser~!"

"And you're annoying." Taehyung shut off his console and placed it on the floor. "I'm done playing."

Jungkook pouted and crossed his arms, holding the console with one of his hands. "Then what am I suppose to do?"

Taehyung shrugged. "Beats me. I'm not playing with a noob."

"I'm not a noob! You're a noob!" He then huffed out and pouted even further.

"I can't be a noob because I play professionally and get paid for it, noob." Taehyung usually gets very cocky when slightly drunk, so it's no surprise he is mad about losing.

"Stop calling me a noob!" And Jungkook got whiny, sometimes even clingy. But since Taehyung was being mean, it was time to whine.

The older scoffed. "Jungkook? More like Jungnoob."

Jungkook then smirked. "I bet that I'm better at other stuff than you. So I'm not a noob."

"Oh yeah? Prove it!" Taehyung then stood up. "Noob."

The bunny teethed boy stood up as well. "Bet you can't whistle better than me!" He followed with a small tune but shortly ran out of breath.

Taehyung whistled a whole verse of a children's song and when he was done, raised his eyebrow at Jungkook. "Noob."

"Am not! I can probably chug faster than you!" He then grabbed a can of beer, opened it, and attempted to chug it all down but failed, only getting halfway through.

Taehyung grabbed a can of soda, opened it, and began chugging. The boy stopped only to crush the can as he had drank everything. "Noob~"

"Nuh uh. I'm more experienced in life than you!" Jungkook crossed his arms again.

Taehyung scoffed. "I'm older than you, how can you be more experienced than me?"

"Um... uh..." Jungkook stared at Taehyung's stupid smirk and then his eyes went bright as he held up three fingers. "I've dated three people before!"

Taehyung swallowed his pride and cleared his throat. "Doesn't mean anything..."

"Yes it does! I've even had my first kiss. Have you hyung?"

Taehyung wanted to smile at the younger for finding something he was better at than him, but he hated thinking about the fact he has been single his whole life. It showed how lonely he actually was. "Why does that matter anyways?"

Jungkook pointed at Taehyung. "Ha! I'm not a noob! You've never had your first kiss!"

Taehyung scoffed. "So what? Better with no one than with someone not worth it."

Jungkook's smile then faded. Ouch. He was right. The younger boy had only had terrible dating experiences so why was he even boasting? "At least I can get a kiss."

Taehyung crossed his arms. "I could get one if I wanted. I've just decided to wait."

"What? Till marriage? You a nun now?" Jungkook huffed.

"Well you still suck at video games!" Taehyung said loudly.

"And you can't get a kiss!" Jungkook stomped his foot and made his way to sit next to Jimin. It was a drunk habit of Jungkook to be extra sensitive, but unfortunately for Taehyung, he often held drunk grudges when sober.

But Taehyung didn't care, a drunk habit of his, not caring. It was odd actually, for Taehyung to drink or even get drunk. He knew almost little to nothing made him get into a tipsy state so he almost never drank. But, needing courage to actually speak or even look at Jungkook, was much needed. He sat next to Yoongi on the couch and huffed out. "Stupid Kookie..."

Yoongi had been spaced out for a while now, the alcohol was getting to him more than usual or maybe it was fading off. He looked to his right where Taehyung had just laid his head on his shoulder, pouting. To his left were Hoseok, Seokjin next to him, a hand weirdly placed on his thigh.

Wonder what Namjoon thinks of that. He then stood up and looked around, ignoring the weird look on Jimin as he headed out.

It was the familiar smell of Namjoon's stress and worries that hit him. Smoke. "Why can't you fucking vape?"

Namjoon looked up from where he sat smoking a cigarette. "Same chemicals."

Yoongi sat next to him, swatting off the smoke. "Without nicotine, they don't have them."

"It's not even a habit, so what's the big deal?" The brunette took another swing at his cigarette.

"You smoke when you're super stressed so it is a habit." Yoongi crossed his arms. "Why are you suddenly stressed? Wasn't this damn party your idea?"

Namjoon let the smoke slip out of his mouth. "Yeah, well it was a bad idea."

Yoongi rolled his eyes and laid on the concrete of his driveway. "Well so far, it isn't so bad."

"Yoongi enjoying a party, who knew." He took the cigarette into his mouth. Exhaling out chemicals just relaxed him. "Sucks seeing him be so friendly with someone else."

The pale boy groaned. "Just make your move and stop being a pussy."

"I was wrong thinking you're nicer when drunk." Namjoon burned out the cigarette on the floor and kicked it down the driveway.

"It's fading off." Yoongi looked at the back of Namjoon's head. "Hoseok doesn't have a chance."

Namjoon hugged his knees. "Well neither do I."

"Shut the fuck up." Yoongi sat up and faced Namjoon. "Can't you see he likes you too? He just doesn't realize it yet but he does. You're head is too thick to realize it too."

Namjoon faced Yoongi, feeling only slightly better. "Maybe." He stood up and held out his hand only to have Yoongi lay back down on the concrete.

"Nah. I need a break."

"Don't do anything stupid."

With the shut of his front door behind him, he sighed and stared up at the stars. He tried to count them all, but lost count easily. The dull clouds passing by made his job a lot harder. He wondered if he could sneak into the attic without anyone noticing.

There he could escape, play some piano, revisit old memories maybe. Hmm, suddenly, escaping didn't seem that fun actually. Sitting with the rest of the boys wasn't as suffocating as he thought it'd he.

What time was it?

The door opened and he sighed. "Joon, just five more minutes of peace please."

"Sorry," Yoongi quickly looked over at Jimin. "I was just checking that you were alright."

He turned his head back to the sky. "I'm fine."

"Can I stay? I need a break myself." Jimin asked from the porch.

"Sure."

Jimin sat next to Yoongj, hugging his knees as he stared up. "I assume you'd prefer if I stayed quiet."

Yoongi shrugged although Jimin couldn't see him as his back faced the blue haired boy. "I don't mind. If you start talking nonsense though, I'll kick you."

The blond ran his hand through his hair, sighing. "Wanna know why I bought that house?"

Yoongi hummed.

"I wanted to show my parents I could do it. Be an adult."

Yoongi's eyes drifted to the back of Jimin's head.

"They never thought I'd make it with dancing, so I proved them otherwise."

"If you're expecting me to open up after that—"

"I'm not." Jimin turned to Yoongi and smiled. "I felt like you should know that not everything has a happy reason behind it. I feel like you think I'm this happy go to person, when everyone goes through stuff. Everyone has their dark reasons."

Jimin turned away, leaving Yoongi feeling some weird type of way. Was the alcohol getting back to him? He grabbed Jimin's elbow and pulled him in, making Jimin lay down on the concrete next to him.

The blond stared at Yoongi as the older male stared up at the sky. "How do you feel about people lying to you?"

"Not well." Jimin frowned.

"I'm sorry then." Yoongi sighed. "This isn't my parents' house. It use to be but they're dead."

There was silence.

"I kinda miss them."

Jimin grabbed onto Yoongi's hand and held it tight, expecting Yoongi to pull away. But he didn't. He held tightly onto Jimin. "It's okay to miss certain people. It's normal."

Yoongi turned to Jimin and lost himself in his eyes. What was it about Jimin that made him this weak? He didn't understand why he became less mean and a little more open to him. He was so vulnerable to those kind eyes.

"Hyung." Jimin snapped Yoongi out of his thoughts. "Want to head back inside and eat our feelings out?"

Yoongi smiled, genuinely, almost spilling his whole heart out to Jimin right there. "Yeah."

Jimin stood up, not letting go of Yoongi's hand to help him up. Once they were both up, The older cleared his throat, letting his hand slip out of Jimin's.

He then opened the door for Jimin. "I feel like ramen. You?"

Jimin smiled. "Meat sounds great along with that."
