Being late to work was never a problem to Yoongi. It was basically his specialty.
But having been on time the past two weeks made him irritated when he walked in ten minutes late.
"New record for Yoongi." Jaebum clapped his hands as Yoongi walked in the Green Record Rooms.
Yoongi smirked. "Yeah, yeah, did you win a bet or something?"
Jaebum smiled. "Of course I did. I know your schedule better than anyone here."
Yoongi saluted Namjoon with their short secret handshake and patted Taehyung's concentrated back.
Although Yoongi was known to be the antisocial of the whole company, he got along well with his Pitching Director. Maybe it was because Jaebum empathized with Yoongi's past, but it didn't matter.
"Actually Yoongi," Jaebum spoke as Yoongi was about to sit on his seat so he could get right to work. "I need you to check out this really weird bug on Fortcraft. It's so bad, it's become a meme."
Yoongi snorted as he rolled his chair underneath his desk. "The game's already a meme by itself."
Namjoom grabbed onto Yoongi's sleeve. "Aren't you gonna say hello to the dancers?"
Yoongi looked up at the dancers on stage, all too engrossed on their actions to notice Yoongi's lateness. He shook his head. "Nah. I'm leaving for downstairs anyways. What point is there?"
Namjoon nodded, looking over at Jimin who had asked if Yoongi was feeling okay before his late arrival. "Jin hyung wants to head to the arcade after work."
"Is it half price Friday?"
"Yup."
Yoongi smirked. "Tokens on me. I'll see you for lunch."
As the blue haired boy walked off, who's hair was actually more blond than blue these days, Taehyung sighed. He banged his head against the table before curling his hands around his sides.
"Take it easy Tae." Namjoon patted his back. "Servers are slow since the shutdown, just be patient."
Jungkook bounced up and down by Hoseok. "Please, please. please!"
Hoseok smiled at the jumping boy. "No."
Jungkook pouted and stopped bouncing. "Jimin hyung!" He whined as he walked over to him. "He said no."
Jimin chuckled. "Told you he would say no. He just doesn't want to be left alone."
"He's not gonna be left alone. He'll just be the third wheel..." Jungkook crossed his arms.
Jimin looked over to Namjoon and Taehyung. "I mean, if their friend Jin comes and Yoongi doesn't, then it would be an even number..."
"Is he still not here?" Jungkook asked as he looked around.
"I guess not..." Jimin pouted but then shrugged as he waked over to Hoseok. "Hyung."
"I already told Jungkook no." Hoseok said as he watched a girl dance his choreography.
Jimin smiled. "Here me out. You won't be left alone. Yoongi hyung isn't here today so it would be an even number."
Hoseok turned to Jimin, raising his eyebrow at the younger. "You don't want to hang out with your neighbor?"
Jimin looked down as he pointed his toe and dragged it around the floor shyly. "Well yeah but he isn't here today..."
Hoseok looked around, back at Jungkook who looked away as if he wasn't anticipating a yes from his eldest hyung, and then back at Jimin. "Fine."
Jimin smiled and gave Hoseok a side hug. "Thank you Hobi!"
"Yeah, yeah. You would have probably gone without me and that's just not fun." He chuckled as he patted Jimin's back.
Jungkook bounced a little. "I'll go ask them right now!" He skipped his way to Namjoon and Taehyung. The brunette placed his hands on the edge of Taehyung's desk and smiled. "Hi Tae hyung."
Taehyung looked up from his computer and gave a box shaped smile towards the bunny teethed boy. "Hi Jungkook. Need something?"
"Actually," Jungkook looked at Namjoon to acknowledge that his statement was directed to him as well. "We were heading to the arcade later tonight since it's half price Friday. Would you guys like to come as well?"
Namjoon wasn't even able to ask if Seokjin and Yoongi were invited as well when Taehyung spoke nodding his head ridiculously fast. "Yeah, yeah! We were actually planning on going!"
Jungkook chuckled and looked at Namjoon for confirmation. "Yeah, sure. Let's meet at the token machines at 7."
Jungkook smiled, composing himself a little as he had the habit to get too excited at times. "Cool. We'll see you guys then." He then walked off normally at first but then ran to Jimin smiling. "They said yes~!"
Namjoon smiled at Taehyung as the boy stared ahead at his crush's movements. "For a young kid like him, he got an ass."
Taehyung turned to him expressionless. He slapped his hyung's shoulder earning a snicker from the boy with dimples. "Shut up. I called dibs anyways."
Namjoon laughed. "I was just kidding." He was too excited to react to the stinging in his shoulder. Excited for the outcome of not telling Yoongi that Jimin would meet with them together tonight.

"Pow pow!" Seokjin snickered as he shot more zombies than Yoongi, making the shorter boy annoyed. "Good Yoongi! Shoot those walls instead of the zombies!"
"You're annoying..." Yoongi turned his gun towards the character next to his and shot him. The screen displayed a big 'DO NOT SHOOT TEAMMATES!' which made him smirk.
"YAH! You made me lose health!" Seokjin kept shooting zombies regardless of his teammates uncooperative action, which made Yoongi just give up and turn to Seokjin's character again.
"Hey Jin hyung."
"What?" Seokjin kept shooting as if nothing was being schemed.
"What did a pistol say to it's bullet?"
"What?"
"Son of a gun."
"AHAHAHA— HEY!" Seokjin's character was officially down and needed his teammate, Yoongi, to heal him. "Son of a bitch!"
"No, I already told you, he said 'Son of a gun' Seriously hyung, you don't listen." Yoongi killed zombies as an alert that his teammate was injured flashed on the corner of his screen.
"You dumbass! My character supplies ammo! You're gonna run out and die!"
Yoongi's eyes widen from realization as he moved his character back to Seokjin's before it was too late.
But of course, it was too late.
'YOUR TEAMMATE Jin HAS DIED FROM Suga'S SHOTGUN.'
'YOU HAVE RAN OUT OF AMMO. RECHARGE.'
'UNABLE TO RECHARGE.'
'YOU ARE UNDER ATTACK.'
Yoongi sighed as he dropped his controller.
"Dumbass cheater." Seokjin stuck his tongue out towards the pouting younger.
'YOU HAVE BEEN BITTEN. MISSION FAILED.'
"Whatever. I've beat this before anyways." Yoongi shrugged as the machine showed his score and as expected, the high score was labeled 'Gloss AND RapMon - 2,436,517 Pts'
Seokjin snorted. "Gloss and RapMon."
Yoongi rolled his eyes as he left his side of the arcade game. "Let it go already."
Seokjin followed behind the other boy after gravbing their tickets. "You both use to be so cringey."
"So were you."
Taehyung bounced his way to Yoongi holding a mountain of tickets. "Look guys! We beat the high score for the pin ball machine!"
Namjoon trailed behind the excited boy checking his watch then looking up, holding a small stack of tickets in his hand. "Yeah we failed at basketball though."
"Yeah and we failed at The Running Death because he's a cheater!" Seokjin pointed at Yoongi.
"Why would you cheat? Isn't it a two player based game?" Taehyung asked as he neatly stacked the tickets together.
"He got upset that I was killing more zombies than him!" Seokjin crossed his arms in anger.
"I'll buy you a corndog." Yoongi batted his eyes at the older.
"Two."
"Deal."
Seokjin smiled and held up the tickets. "We still got a bunch though!"
"Let's go get more tokens. Don't worry Yoongi hyung, I'll pay for this round." Namjoon said, holding in the smirk he so wanted to show.
Yoongi shook his head as he made his way towards the token machines. "It's fine. It's been a while since we've hung out like this anyways."
His three friends followed behind him, Taehyung smiling as he tucked his tickets inside his pocket. "Oh yeah. Aren't we— Agh!"
Namjoon hit Taehyung's stomach, earning a look from Yoongi. "We... celebrating Taehyung's data progress?"
Yoongi looked at Taehyung, who smiled awkwardly at the older. "I mean, I guess. He has been working really hard."
Seokjin patted Taehyung's shoulder. "Good job Tae! Although I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I thought we were meeti— YAH!"
Namjoon stomped on Seokjin's foot, glaring at him. "Get. The. Hint." He whispered.
Yoongi stared at his hyung. "The fuck is up with you all?" He shrugged it off and kept walking as he pulled out his wallet and started pulling out a few dollar bills to exchange for tokens. "What are we playing next?"
"How about basketball? We'll watch you steal the high score as always." Seokjin suggested.
Yoongi straightened his bills as he walked, putting his wallet away with one hand. "Taehyung? Suggestions?"
"Dance Dance Revolution!" Taehyung said, a little snicker which Yoongi didn't seem to hear.
"What about you Jo..." Yoongi looked up to see a brunette, a red head, and a blond standing at the token machine. Not just any three weird haired boys, but three weird dancers he knew. "Hey guys, what are you doing here?"
Jimin's back stiffened as his two friends turned around, Hoseok's expression seeming annoyed.
"Huh? Yoongi hyung? You're here?" Jungkook asked as he waved at the rest.
"Yah! Jimin ah! You said it'd be an even number!" Hoseok hit Jimin. "You said Yoongi wouldn't be coming!"
Jimin scratched the back of his head as he avoided eyes with Yoongi. "I didn't know he was coming..."
Yoongi frowned as he looked at Namjoon, who was smiling. "Oh yeah, did we forget to tell you? Jungkook invited us to hang out with him and his friends."
Yoongi grumbled and turned back to the three. "What? Didn't want me here or something?"
Jungkook was quick to shake his head, feeling the sharpness in Yoongi's voice. "No that's not i—"
"To be honest, I didn't want you here or at least one of you." Hoseok kicked Jimin's shoe. "He promised it'd be an even number so I wouldn't be third wheeling as I always am!"
Yoongi frowned even more as he noticed Jimin's avoiding of his own eyes. "Well whatever. Hurry up and get your tokens. We are trying to break records."
As in cue, Jimin's tokens finished dispensing and he quickly grabbed them with shaky hands. "Go ahead..."
Yoongi, not bothered whatsoever, started exchanging his money.
"So we were just discussing what to do next." Namjoon clapped his hands together.
"We were thinking on doing basketball or Dance Dance Revolution but I guess you would all win because of your dancing skills." Seokjin laughed at his own... what he called a joke.
"I suck at Dance Dance Revolution." Hoseok pointed out.
"Yeah, it has nothing to do with dancing if we are honest." Jungkook chuckled.
Jimin remained quiet, pulling his sleeves down so that half of his hands were covered. He usually wore some concealer when going out, at least some powder but no, today he just had to be lazy and not do so. To make matters worse, his face was swollen since the other boys had chosen to order spicy ramen before heading to the arcade. And not to mention, the humidity had been making his face extremely oily. Oh would you look at that, he's also wearing an oversized stupid grey sweater along with stupid ripped jeans. Jimin just truly wanted to go home. He preferred that over Yoongi seeing him looking like trash.
"Done." Yoongi spread the tokens out to his closest friends and gave a few bills to Seokjin. "Go get fat."
Seokjin smiled and ran off shouting, "Corn dogs!" Earning a few looks from teenagers and parents with their children.
"I'm going to go play basketball." Yoongi walked off.
"Quick follow him!" Namjoon chuckled.
"You'll experience true talent." Taehyung laughed.
"Is he good?" Jungkook asked as he followed closely behind Taehyung.
"Good?" Namjoon smiled. "Hyung, what's your middle name?"
"Genius." Yoongi smirked to himself.
"He's really good at a lot of things." Taehyung nodded. "Like basketball and piano."
"Gaming as well." Namjoon turned to Jimin. "And really good at sucking d—"
"Lollipops." Yoongi cut in, he came to a stop looking at all of them as the basketball game awaited for him behind him. "I won a contest on who could suck the most lollipops back in junior high."
Namjoon smirked, Jimin blushing as he looked down to his feet.
"You're unusually quiet." Yoongi said as he pointed at the blond after pushing his tokens in.
Jimin smiled quickly, glad that Yoongi acknowledged him. "Oh me? I'm just a little tired, that's all." Nope. He was really not feeling how he looked right now.
Yoongi came closer to Jimin and spoke low. "You sure? Seems more like you're not fond of my presence as you said before." He shrugged and pushed the start button. "Let's get it."
