iv . problem and solution

seo-yoon walked after jun-hee once she caught her eye-sight. the celebrations were a bit hard to get through, but she still made it.

"jun-hee!" she said, grabbing jun-hee's wrist. she looked behind her to see seo-yoon. her eyes narrowed slightly.

"seo-yoon." jun-hee replied blandly, looking seo-yoon up and down once before giving her a look that seo-yoon couldn't quite read.

"i'm sorry-"

"don't be. it's stupid."

"then what are you even mad about?"

"i am fine seo-yoon! i'm not mad about anything- i.." jun-hee got out slightly raising her voice but still only maintaining that seo-yoon could hear her. she looked to the side of seo-yoon's head seeing a familiar twins of eyes. they weren't staring at her- no.. they were staring at seo-yoon.

seo-yoon let out a breath. jun-hee licked her lips. jun-hee's eyes flickered to both of seo-yoon's. she started walking away.

"you're scared." seo-yoon got out. she swallowed as she waited for jun-hee to turn back, although she never did- at least not now.  seo-yoon let out a shaky sigh before starting to walk to her bunk as well.

after seo-yoon had gotten her food, she got to her bunk again. jun-hee was eating her own mindfully slow. that made seo-yoon furrow her eyebrows a bit.

she then ignored it as her stomach grumbled hungerly. her eyes rolled as she looked away, muttering things to herself.

she opened the container, seeing the food that was obviously not as good as she hoped for it to be. but she couldn't complain, especially if it was after their first death game.

soon enough an old lady that had made quite a thing for her son at the beginning of the games started to walk over. she smiled sweetly at seo-yoon, which she didn't receive back.

her heart tugged at her, knowing that she should've just smiled back. she was a mother after all, and not giving her the support she needed was wrong. seo-yoon had experience with it. yes, indeed.

memories came flushing back to her of her mother singing a korean song to her softly to make her go to bed, teaching her how to do flying stone perfectly- and even teaching her survival instincts. it made her bite her lip harder.

"here have this. eggs are really good when your pregnant." the old lady says softly to jun-hee. seo-yoon glanced over at them briefly before going back to eating.

she picked around the meat as she just was eating the rice. she wasn't picky, but all of the other stuff in the container looked bad in her eyes.

as she continued to eat for a few minutes in peace, she heard yelling from a while in front of her. not to her surprise, it was myung-gi and thanos. probably about the crypto again.

jun-hee hopped down from her bunk, still gripping onto the metal as she watched. myung-gi got beaten up really quickly by thanos.

before it could get any farther, player 001 stepped up. "hey kids. what makes you think you can behave like that? especially while people are eating, and in front of your elders too. it's bad manners, not to mention it's two against one. shame on you guys" he said as people gasped around.

seo-yoon watched, interested. she hasn't heard much about this player, so it's time to learn. thanos started speaking to him as well but seo-yoon couldn't hear him as well from the distance between them.

when thanos said something, 001 gripped his neck tightly. once the other guy tried to attack him, he kicked his chin exploding him with pain. seo-yoon took notice of one thing. don't mess with him.

001 started finishing off thanos. at this time, thanos was pleading for him to stop. but, 001's hands were gripped on his neck practically choking him.

finally, 001 left go of him after it seems like an eternity. everybody started to applaude for 001. seo-yoon watched, as if he almost attempted to murder someone.

once the lights went out, the piggybank shined across the room. seo-yoon tilted her body to the side, now looking at jun-hees body who was layed on her back.

"hey, jun-hee?" she said softly to her. jun-hee didn't reply back but she didn't care and continued. "i'm sorry. actually." she continued looking at jun-hee.

"it's okay. i get why you did it." jun-hee answered to her. seo-yoon could feel a sense of relief after she finally heard jun-hee speaknto her again.

she let out a shaky exhale. they didn't say anything else to each other. the small sounds of people sleeping were around them. it was comfortable silence between them.

it was only until tomorrow the chaos would start again.
