earlier today, the american luxury lingerie brand victoria's secret announced news no one saw coming!

they revealed that their newest brand ambassador would be no other than nct's star. if all things go to plan, there is a possibility that she might walk in one of their future shows.

star posted a small message to her instagram story, thanking the brand: "i'm so grateful to be able to work with the vs team 💞 thank you for taking a chance on me & i promise you won't regret it!"

later in the brand's statement they wrote: "we are so excited to welcome star into our team. we can't wait to see her shine fully as an ambassador and potential angel. more content from us and star is on the way!"

despite clear excitement from star, many fans have expressed concerns. there have been many complaints, but the two major ones are how dangerous the modeling industry is and how it is too mature of a brand for star.

the first concern was addressed by both victoria's secret and star, stating that she will continue to be as healthy as she is. her idol schedule will not interfere with victoria's secret. this is in the sense that any muscle building gained from training will not have to be lost to model.

the last concern, the maturity of the brand, has not been addressed. korean fans are upset that star is not staying true to korea's conservative standards. instead, she's showing herself off in a way many fans are not happy with. others claim she is doing this to gain attention.

others argue saying that star is allowed to do whatever she wants with her body and doesn't need a reason to do so. it's a new era and there is no need to stay conservative.
