ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ FOUR !¡ backstory

⋆·˚ ༘ * ▓ BACKSTORY: boo soo-ah was born as the youngest daughter to the jwa-boo family on september 16, 2002, in jeju island.

her older siblings and parents immediately became infatuated with her. even as she grew older and they would begin fighting, nobody could deny the love everyone in the household was surrounded by. everyone was encouraged to explore their passions, and soo-ah found hers almost right away.

it was a stormy night, thunder loudly crashed occasionally and the house shook with each boom. rain cascaded down the roof, leaving a quiet pitter-patter. to put it simply, soo-ah was terrified.

she ran to sojeong's room in order to seek solace. sojeong sang to her to calm her down, and that's when soo-ah realized what she wanted to do. she wanted to sing.

ever since that fateful night, she studied the videos of existing korean idols; how they acted, how they danced, how they spoke in variety shows, how they rapped, how they performed, everything.

she copied everything the idols did while adding her own twist, but she lacked in two areas completely. the more crucial area, dance. the rap she wasn't worried about, she could sing, so there wasn't any demand for her to be good at rapping. but she could not dance.

her parents signed her up for dance classes for a few months and she found a love for that as well. after building up the courage and receiving so much support from her friends and family, she sent in an audition to yg.

she got accepted. she couldn't believe it. she trained at yg as a dancer for around five months, before switching to the vocal department where she remained for the rest of her time in the company. she was put into the debut lineup of yg's new girl group, blackpink, but was eventually let go and sent to sm.

she was upset at the time, but now that she's older she realized it was a blessing in disguise. despite joining the lineup quite late into the training process, she found her true self within nct. they complete her.
