Corey Becker trailed down the long hallway, the handcuffs digging into his wrists and ankles. A smirk arose on his lips when he was shoved down into the metal chair, the coldness of it not phasing him as he looked at the detective in front of him.

"Corey Becker, I'm Detective Tatum Riley" he leaned forward a taunting smile on his lips "you're Dewey's daughter, I could've sworn I killed you".

She let out a heavy exhale "that was two years ago, you and your husband did quite a number on a lot of people throughout the years. You're both sentence to death next month, a lot of people wanna know why you did what you did".

Corey let out a soft hum leaning back in the chair "haven't people seen those lame stab movies?". Tatum reached into her purse setting a tape recorder onto the table. "I'd really like if you'd share your story with me, the stab movies don't give us answers, your husband said he'd only share if you agreed too share your side of things".

Corey let out a light chuckle "I mean it's not like I have a choice, I'm gonna be dying in a a few weeks, I don't see why not, I do enjoy a good movie myself, but they don't do Justice to my story. You wanna know what happened?".

Tatum nodded hitting the record bottom making Corey smiled "let's start from the beginning, this would be the first time I put on the mask....".

1997; woodsboro college

Corey Becker laid down on his bed, piles of books in front of him as music blasted into his ear drums. His door creaked open and his roommate Mickey burst inside, rambling on about nonsense.

"I hate her so much, can't even let me have an extension for the homework" Corey pushed his headphones off frowning at the boy.

"Mickey, you're amazing and all but you know I never pay attention to anything you're saying when I'm working on homework". Mickey sat down on his bed sighing deeply "that professor is a bitch, how come she let you have an extra day for the assignment? She wants mine tonight".

Corey sat up fully "I cried saying I was sad about my sister not being here to celebrate my birthday with me, it worked real wonders for me".

Mickey huffed "damn it, see you can get away with stuff like that, I don't have anything I can use, maybe I'll just fucking kill her". Corey would've thought he'd shiver at that word, but he didn't.

"Then let's kill her" Mickey looked taken back by the boys words as he stood up from the bed fully. "I found your cute little murder notebook, it's like you wanted me to find it, it's a pretty decent plan, but you'd never get away with it that way".

Mickey smirked "oh yeah, then what do you suggest?" Corey smiled "the killings gotta be random at first, that way people don't make the connection to Sidney yet, after I'd say four victims, that's when you bring in the sequel, killing everyone that has the same name as the original victims, then once they figure it out, that's when we go for Sidney, if we can't kill her, at least she'll know someone's coming for her".

Mickey stood up "my, have you always been this smart Corey?" the boy shrugged his shoulders "I mean I've seen a few horror movies, I'm not obsessed with them like you are but I know the basic rules of a good horror movie".

"So who do you wanna kill first?" Corey opened the closet door grabbing a hold of the ghostface mask. The one that haunted his dreams ever night, "let's pay that professor a little late visit" he smirked as he put the mask on his face.

The woman sat inside her home, her eyes looking down at the papers her students wrote. Cup after cup of coffee sat along her desk, her eyes on the verge of closing from the exhaustion hitting her.

She grabbed the next paper reading the first line when her phone began ringing. She jumped letting out a light laugh as she grabbed a hold of it.

"Hello?" it was silent making her roll her eyes "if this is your idea of a prank, you better get better at it, good night whoever this is".

"Don't hang up! I have a question for you" the woman smiled slightly "oh I'm assuming you're one of my students then, if this is you Mickey, I told you already, you can't have an extension".

"What's your favorite scary movie?" the woman frowned "Mickey, why are you calling me this late? You have two hours until the deadlines due, I think you should be writing right now".

"Who said I was Mickey...." She screamed slightly when she heard something fall in her kitchen. She stood up fast "okay who the hell is this? I'm gonna call the police!". "They won't get here in time, I like to imagine I can cut your throat open before they get here to save you, you aren't very smart, they always ask who is this? Why don't you ask me where am I? That's where you should start".

She slammed the phone down screaming when a knife slammed into her back "gotcha!" she screamed as she was thrown over her desk. Her back colliding into the wall as the figure laughed and walked towards her.

"Stay back! Get the fuck back!" She threw a lamp running out of the room. She cried out as she limped down her steps the figure laughing as they walked behind her. The screech of the knife heard as it slid across the stair railing.

She groaned when she tripped over the last step she ran for the front door screaming at the sight of the second figure. She shoved the door shut just in time before they could get inside.

She gasped when the knife slammed into her throat the figure pulling her away from the door and making her face them. "You never go for the front door you stupid bitch". Her eyes widen when the knife stabbed into her chest the blood leaving her lips quickly as she cried out.

Her body fell towards the ground and Corey pulled the mask off letting out a heavy breath. With one swipe he cleaned the knife of any blood as he smirked down at the woman's body.

authors notes:
I'm seeing a movie in like an hour so I figured I'd at least get this chapter out before hand. As if it isn't obvious, Mickeys the one doing the calls and Corey's the one doing the killing. Of course Mickey thinks he's in charge seeing he's working for Mrs.Loomis, but Corey is the true mastermind behind it all, he's gonna kill Mrs.Loomis and then pin it all on Mickey in the end, it's his perfect plan and of course he'll get away with it. Also the beginning part is a very important key part of this entire series, every once in a while you'll see future Corey appear, telling his "story" to detective Tatum Riley, each act responds a week before he hits his "death" So each chapter is a new day of him telling his story and what not.
