five

Corey felt like a little kid hiding every time he would meet Hallie at the shower hall. Like clockwork every day at 5AM, he would meet her. Mickey didn't have any suspicions, all he thought was that Corey was simply just showering and trying to be prepared.

He hasn't killed or attacked anyone since Randy, he wanted to keep it that way. He held onto the cigarette tightly as he approached the shower hall, the sun almost rising in the distance.

Hallie always wanted inside the bathroom, it would be unfortunate if Mickey followed Corey one day and saw her waiting outside the door. He would always enter the men's bathroom, wait ten minutes and then exit towards the girls to see Hallie.

He wasn't really sure what this was.. why she kept showing up every morning, but it was comforting. They had three days till the party, which meant three more days of sneaking around behind Mickey's back.

Three more days of Hallies lips against his, a little secret only they knew about. Something that made him feel normal again, a sense of control. He'd wake up on time every single day just to see her, he always expected she'd never be there, but she always was.

Today was different, when he walked into the men's bathroom like always to wait. She was there, leaning against the sink as he walked inside slowly.

"Sorry I know we normally meet in the girls bathroom, but Sidney's in there. She had a pretty rough night, last night she doesn't know I'm here luckily, I think I ran off to get coffee".

Corey set his towel down on the sink "it works either way, I also managed to get my costume for Saturday, took a long time to find, who knew everyone else wanted to buy all the damn Anakin Skywalker costumes, all they had left was Darth Vader".

Hallie chuckled "it's the same thing, same person even so it'll work out in the end, maybe the mask can keep your identity hidden from Mickey".

Mickey was suspicious of Corey's sudden change of behavior, since when did he wake up every single day to shower? Let alone at five in the morning. He followed after the boy for once, letting him believe he was asleep as he waited for ten minutes.

He followed Corey with ease, and he wasn't surprised to see him actually go into the bathroom hall. He still felt the boy was hiding something, whatever it was, Mickey was going to figure it out.

He made sure he was quiet when he pushed open the door, his foot keeping the door open as he slipped in through the crack. He heard the sound of the shower running when he neared the area.

So the boy actually was showering, Mickey would've turned around and ignored his paranoia seeing the boy was genuinely just showering.

Then he heard the moans and heavy pants, the small whispers of Corey's voice. Mickey stopped himself from lashing out, he needed to wait, this wouldn't end well if he went and started killing people.

He moved slowly, kneeling behind a bench as he looked around the corner. The rows of showers could be seen, and at the very end Corey was there.

His back facing Mickey, he couldn't get a good look at who Corey was with. Corey was blocking his view, Mickey rolled his eyes.

He couldn't believe Corey would do this to him, essentially with some random chick. Corey pushed his hands against the shower wall, his body flexing as he let the water soothe away his anxiety.

He felt like he was being watched, in fact he knew he was being watched. It made his body tense up as he grabbed a hold of Hallies waist, he leaned towards her ear "don't move" he whispered.

He felt her tense, it was clear she felt the prying eyes on them too. "Is it mickey..." he pressed his finger over her lip to shush her as he groaned slightly.

"Seriously Hal... stop moving" she gripped his shoulders slightly "sorry". He looked at her slightly "how the hell are we getting out of this one? He'll see you Hallie, we can't exactly just walk out".

He kept his tone quiet as Hallie sighed "you go... I can just stay here, at least until you get him out of here". Corey bit into his lip nervously as he nodded "just face the wall, so he doesn't see your face".

Corey grabbed his towel off the bench as he wrapped it around his waist. He pushed a cigarette into his mouth as he made his way towards the door.

He heard the footsteps behind him almost immediately, he could smell the cheap cologne Mickey was always wearing.

He turned around "are you following me?" Mickey looked annoyed as he stood in front of Corey. "Who the hell was that in there with you? Is this what you've been doing on your little morning adventures, screwing some chick! I told you..".

Corey rolled his eyes "you're annoying, just because we slept together a few times, doesn't make me your damn property, you're so obsessed with me".

Mickey sneered angrily as he punched Corey, the boy didn't flinch at the action. His face still bruised from the last time Mickey lost his temper.

"Is that your solution every time I upset you! You gonna beat the shit out of me? I can have sex with whoever the hell I want, you think because I killed a few people with you, I'm gonna be with you forever? That I'll help you with your stupid movie!".

Mickey went to hit him again, but he stopped himself as he let out a heavy breath. "Why don't we pay your little friend a visit then, you think you can run off every morning... hide behind my back!".

Mickey pulled open the door of the bathroom dragging Corey inside. Corey winced when Mickey shoved him into the wall. "Come on out! I know you're here somewhere!" It was silent and Corey looked around in search of Hallie.

He didn't see her anywhere, Mickey dragged Corey towards the back "where did your little lady friend go? What are you hiding from me!".

Corey kept his mouth shut as Mickey glared at him, Mickey scoffed in irritation. Corey yelped when his body was pushed into the shower wall, the water falling down onto him harshly.

He groaned when Mickey shoved his head back into the tiles. He felt it crack as he tried to keep his balance. "If you won't fess up, I'll force it out of you" Corey screamed when Mickey stabbed the knife into his side. Mickey shushed him as he gripped his face, he could feel the pain spreading.

"I want a name, tell me who it is Corey". Corey pushed his head into the wall, he felt something fall on his cheek, he looked upwards.

He could see Hallies eyes as she held onto herself tightly, tears forming in her eyes as he shook his head at her. He grunted when Mickey pulled the knife out of his side, Corey felt his vision blur.

He could feel the blood leaving his side, the look in Mickey's eyes were blank. Corey shivered when the water that hit him turned cold.

He felt his eyes closing as Mickey let him fall towards the ground "I'll figure it out, and whoever it is, I'll kill them and then I'll come back and kill you".

Corey blinked slowly as he opened his eyes "hey... take it slow" her voice sounded comforting as he felt pressure on his side. It burned making him move in discomfort, he felt the coldness of her fingers pressing against his arm in comfort.

He could see the shakiness of her hands as she placed the bandage over his wound. "How long was I out for?" Hallie looked at him, "an hour, you kept going in and out, I was scared you were dying".

Corey winced as he sat up slowly "that bastard stabbed me, he's gonna come back for me and if he finds out it's you who I'm seeing, he'll kill you too".

Hallie looked like a mess, her hair tangled and dark bags under her eyes. "Corey, I have something to tell you" the door opened and Hallie stopped talking.

Sidney stood in the doorway, her eyes widening at the sight of Corey, "what happened!". She ran inside, throwing her bag onto her bed as she neared Corey. He sighed deeply "just ghostface... I got away, I got lucky and ran into Hallie".

He couldn't lie, not anymore. He sat up as Hallie handed him a glass of water he sighed "I could go for a cigarette right about now, about ten of them".

Sidney looked around the room "did you see who did this to you? If it was ghostface...". Corey looked at her "you can relax Sid, I'm sure they're not aiming to kill me. They were clearly sending a warning".

Sidney sat down on her bed "which isn't good either, if they went after you, that means they can come back for any of us, we need to find this bastard".

Corey sat up more "there is the frat party Saturday, I guarantee the fucker will show up in a ghostface costume, we could work together, stop them".

"What if they don't show up?" Corey chuckled at Sidney slightly "trust me, they'll be there. Especially if they're trying to kill us, there's strength in numbers, so if we stick together it'll work".
