real life ! ❀

the sun shines through the blinds, as el slightly opens her eyes. her eyes adjust to her surroundings and she looks around the room.

matt still sat next to her, their arms draped over each other. across the room, saorise, chris, tae, and theo sat in a corner with a few pillows. and reed and briar sat across from them, reed laying on the right, with his arm resting next to her. briar sat facing him unknowingly, her body covered fully with the blanket reed gave her, not caring that he would be cold.

el sat up, her hair falling over her eyes, "morning, el's."

she turned, smiling. "morning, matt"

matt sat up, rubbing his eyes, his white shirt wrinkled.

he stood up, "i'm going to go get water, do you want some?"

"mhm, yeah thanks"

matt nodded, looking at her for a moment, leaning down to brush her hairs from her face, laughing slightly.

briar turned over, waking up. matt looked to her, before pulling his arm away and leaving the room.

by the time matt got back everyone was awake and staring to get ready.

briar walked to the rest room, adjusting her hair, with reed silently folding her blanket after she left.

"morning, matt" chris said, as matt walked into the room with two cups of iced water.

"morning," he said. matt was now dressed, showing what took him so long, his hands covered in rings. he walked over to el with a slight smile. "hey, sorry i wanted to get dressed."

"hi- it's alright, i was about to do the same,"

the two stood in silence, until matt handed her one of the cups, his hand brushing her fingers.

"what?" matt asked, her eyes snapping up to him.

"hm?"

"your tense,"

"oh. your fingers are cold," she coughed.

he nodded, unsure.

theo came over the two of them, interrupting. "matttt where have you been?"

"loca" tae said under her breath, walking out the room to go downstairs.

el smiled, following her. leaving moment with matt, though she couldn't help but still think about it.

"is everyone ready to go?" chris asked, as the rest of them walked down stairs. chris threw the car keys to matt.

"yep," matt replied, holding the keys.

the group walked to their car, matt opening the garage door.
they all got into the car, as a breeze came by them. the trees outside the garage, moved. with flowers of all colors bloomed.

"are we meeting anyone there?" theo asked, leaning over the front seats.

el nodded, "mhm. i'm pretty sure lili and iris are going together but will hang out with us maybe? and i also invited oakley and mads." 

matt smiled at her, remembering talking to her about the two of them.

he turned the car on, facing the wheel and putting the car into drive. "alright, you guys ready?"

"yep!" theo said, smiling.
