Night Brunch | Season 2, dear!
How are you? 

Eda:
Hi there!
Thank you for having me here!
I'm so excited! And I'm good!
What about you?

Danielle:
Thank you for coming!

Danielle:
I see that you love music?
What are your favorite bands? 

Eda:
Yeah, music is one of my obsessions.
I'm fond of Imagine Dragons, One Direction,
BTS and BLACKPINK!

Danielle:
I know, right? Music is life.
And O~ I like Imagine Dragons as well!

Danielle:
You're a fan of Taylor Swift?
What's your favorite song? 

Eda:
Yes, a big one!
Her song Love Story🎵 is my all time favorite!

Danielle:
Wow, everyone I know basically loves Love Story.
They've played it so many times, I sick of it hahaha!

Eda:
Yeah, I get that a lot, but I hold a special memory with it. 
Me and my bestie used to sing it together all day!

Danielle:
I see. No wonder Love Story is your favorite.

Danielle:
Did you manage to get the tickets to her latest concert?
I heard the tickets were sold out really quickly,
for my country at least. 

Eda:
No, actually I don't go for concerts,
they make me nervous.

Danielle:
Oh, that's fine!

Danielle:
Now, why don't we talk about the books
that you've written?
What's your favorite genre to write? 

Eda:
My favorite genre basically depends on my mood,
you may also have noticed,
I read/write romance, young adult, fantasy, fanfiction, etc,
but I love horror the most!
But I'm bad at writing stories in this genre..

Danielle:
That's nice.
And I'm moving towards horror now haha!
Maybe one day we can write a horror story together!

Eda:
For sure! I'd love that (:

Danielle:
Haha yay!

Danielle:
What inspired you to write your stories? 

Eda:
Well my inspiration is every other book that I read,
or a movie/TV series I watch,
all the little things that I do or happens with me
inspires me to write in a unique way!

Danielle:
That's incredible!

Eda:
Thanks!

Danielle:
I've read your story, High School,
and your story format is quite unique
—narrative with diary entries.
Why did you choose to write that way? Is it easier?
Does it help you convey the character's feelings better?

Eda:
I don't know?
Basically, this is the first time that I added a diary entry,
and yeah it's actually more easier for me
to give a better overview of the character's past and behavior,
it forms a certain connection with the readers.
It's what I believe -smiles-

Danielle:
Wow nice!
I didn't know the diary entry format
had so many uses when it comes to writing.
I'll definitely keep that in mind :>

Danielle:
I've noticed that you're currently hosting your own awards?
That's so cool!
Is it difficult to hold your own awards? 

Eda:
Well, it's not easy yet hard,
like if you are a student like me,
we have lots to do already,
and hosting an award it a little tiring
but at the same time it's also exciting.
I wanted to experience it, and I think it's pretty good!

Danielle:
How exactly do you host one?
What exactly goes on behind the scenes? 

 Eda:
A lot of things happen,
as much as it sounds fun
but it has it's own problems to take care of,
sometimes it's because of the lack of judges,
sometimes people do mistakes in forms,
some individuals want to quite, out of the blue.
But, there are some good sides too.
For example, some people volunteer to help
which is really sweet of them,
and it's also the joy to see the people happy when they win,
and the ones who didn't win, appreciate others!

Danielle:
Yeah, it annoys me when people suddenly quit,
but of course, I can understand that
there are things happening in their lives that I don't know about.
And yeah, it's really sweet to see people
setting up to help and congratulating each other.

Danielle:
What are some considerations and things to look out for? 

Eda:
I don't know much but I did learn
that if you've got 1-2 hours spare in a day
then only go for it,
because at the beginning it requires
a little time and working,
and do n o t
publish it before checking thrice.
I myself made some mistakes in the start.
Lastly, be patient. Everything needs time!

Danielle:
Oh, I see! And you've got to oversee the judging
and make sure the results are handed up on time, right?
Is it similar to being a fellow interviewer📍,
here, at the Night Brunch?

Eda:
Yes yes, you are right!
There are many things to look out for in awards.
It's a little similar,
because of Winter it's more exciting
and she's a really awesome host,
so it's working quite smooth being an interviewer.

Danielle:
Yeah, she is. So, how is your experience as one so far?
Is it challenging to come up with the questions and interview strangers?

Eda:
The experience is superb,
I love this unique concept! 
I won't say challenging but it's definitely not easy
to come up with the questions
that are intriguing and appropriate.

Danielle:
That's so true!

Danielle:
Do you have any advice to those who
are currently or wanting to host their own award?

Eda:
Just one thing,
if you really want to do it and
are happy to take up the responsibility,
then you should not step back.
You've got the potential to make it smooth :> 

Danielle:
That's some sweet advice!
