mina was sitting at her vanity on call with her long distance friend. it was mckenna, besides she was also going to the show tonight.

"honestly, I'm just here to have a good night and nothing else." mina said, putting on some moisturizer. mckenna nodded while doing her mascara .

"yeah me too. I can't believe I finally get to hang out with you tonight!" mckenna says excitedly, setting down her wand of mascara and put her hands up in excitement.

mina laughs at the girl, throwing her head back. "thank you for the tickets. if i had to be anywhere else i would actually die." mina said looking into her cellular device.

mckenna laughs, covering her mouth. mina heard a soft doorbell from mckennas house.

she raises her eyebrows, grabbing her phone with mina on the phone, before going to the door and opening it.

"aryan? what are you doing here-" mckenna asked. mina eyes widen as she heard his names. she was supposed to not think about him.

"what do you do when the girl or you in this instance kind of won't talk to you and ignores you?" aryan asks. mckenna licks her lips, hiding her phone behind her back.

"uh.. just come inside!" mckenna said with an awkward smile. mina couldn't see it but in her voice she heard it.

mina bit her lip. should she hang up or stay? part of her was inching towards staying, but what if aryan finds out mckennas on the phone with her?

she sighs lightly before cursing to herself quietly, continuing on doing her makeup. during it, she was listening to their conversation.

"i don't think that girl wants to talk to you though." mckenna said closing the front door. aryan shakes his head.

"then what do I do to get mi- her back?" aryan asks. it was a bit glitchy, but mina could catch that slip up.

she face palmed herself. what does she do in this situation?

"if you have to get her back, then buy her stuff that she likes, maybe love? all I know is that you can't owe her over by words." mckenna explained. aryan could owe mina over with words, but we aren't gonna talk about that.

aryan hummed. he then quickly goes to the door opening it again. "thanks kenny!" he said quickly before shutting the door.

"wait- why did you come over three hours for that?" mckenna asked as soon as the door shut. mckenna looked around for a moment before looking back at her phone.

"thank god you're still there!" mckenna said throwing her head back in relief. mina laughs with a smug look on her face.

"do you know who aryans secret lover is?" mckenna asked cheesily, heading back to her room. mina cleared her throat that felt like it was gonna close.

"no, I don't." she says looking down at her hands, fidgeting with them slightly. she licks her lips. "sorry kenna I need to go- I'll text you when I get to the venue!" mina rambled quickly, pressing the end call button.

she looks at the ceiling wondering why her fate would be like this of everything.

but whatever, it's tate tonight not him. live now .
