mina twirled around her room happily. the idea of being at the vmas amazed her. she's heard about all the musical performances this year, and some that would be controversial.

she thought about aryan from time to time- more like all the time, and about his confession.

she didn't know what it was about and specifically why he ghosted her. despite everything else, why would he do that to her?

mina shook her head, trying not to think about him. she cleared her throat heading to her closet.

she heard a knock on her door. mina groaned. "what?!" she exclaimed, still looking in her closet.

joshua leaned on the door as he came in. "why hello there little sister." joshua said with a grin teasingly.

"okay why are you annoying me? did sabrina not like your newest post or something-" mina started before getting cut off by joshua.

"i might've done a very bad thing for a good cause, but it might not be okay with you- and I don't even know!" joshua rambled on now off the door and looking everywhere but at her.

"what did you do.." mina questions stepping closer to him. joshua put his hands up in surrender.

"may or may not have told aryan he could be my plus one to the vmas." he said shrugging nervously while looking at mina.

"you did what?!" sabrina exclaimed from the front door. mina and joshua looked out the door, not even noticing sabrina was even there.

sabrina walked up to joshua. "why did you do that- oh I'm so beating your ass!" sabrina said quickly, making joshua back into the door nervously.

mina sticks her tongue out at joshua like a little kid. joshua rolls his eyes before respectfully placing his hands on sabrinas upper arms.

"brina, just stop talking. i can explain this!" joshau said looking towards both a pissed mina, and our special guest pissed sabrina.

mina walked back to her closet, nodding at him to go ahead. "aryan has been out friend for a year, and he's never experienced something like this. besides, i think you two need to make up."

mina scoffed at his words. "more like he needs to make up with me. he flat out ghosted me right after he confessed his thoughts to me!" mina said annoyingly, before face palming herself realizing what she confessed.

"see, that's why I never liked aryan!" sabrina says with a smile pointing towards mina, trying to make her smile. her mission failed.

"you so did." joshua muttered to her with a grin, making her push him into the door harder.

"you two just get out!" mina exclaimed holding her head in her hands trying to think besides the chaos.

later that day, mina had picked out a blue dress, that was short, but didn't reveal as much.

the thoughts of seeing aryan with her brother all night was driving her insane. she practically groaned into the universe as she thought about how much she hated him for loving her.

sabrina and mina quickly went through the red carpet, heading towards the drinks station. obviously mina wasn't old enough to drink but sabrina wouldn't mind giving her a few sips.

on the way there, mina looked around praying she wouldn't find aryan. why couldn't she just focus on herself, and not think about aryan all the time?

as if on cue, she saw aryan leaning on a wall texting, or typing. she looked away. "sab, sab, i need to go to the restroom really badly- it's like an emergency emergency!" mina said quickly getting out of line.

she ran into many celebrities, muttering many excuse me's, as well as sorry.

but just her luck aryan was heading to the bathroom as well. mina licked her lips as she felt someone staring at her through the back of her skull.

she just went on into the lady's restroom, hoping not to see him again. even though she loved him, badly. but it's the wrong time, at least for her.

suddenly, a ding rises from her phone. mina furrows her eyebrows looking down at it noticing a text from an unknown number?

the only good thing to do in this situation was to block the number. mina wanted to, cause the only person to be sorry for something was aryan, and she didn't want to speak to him, nor look at him.

throughout the long night, the little glances, as well as the long ones made their way through the cracks.

but he was not hers, or at least not yet.

uhm so i was scrolling on tiktok today and randomly normal thing started playing and no tiktok was glitching or anything like that. I checked Spotify and every app and it wasn't playing in ANY.

but I made it stop 🤑🤑
