mina was sitting in a booth in a coffee shop. she was currently waiting for aryan to get there. he seems like the type to get to places early, but that is so very wrong.

she scrolled on her phone for a bit. she heard a ding, signaling someone entered the store.

she looks up and sees aryan as he looked around. she scratches her neck before waving to him.

once he finally catches her eye, he walks over there and sits across from her. "mina."

"aryan." she greeted nodding at him. they barely knew anything about each other, so how were they gonna talk like normal people?

"well- since we're here, how about we get something to drink?" aryan suggests making his way out from the booth and into the line.

mina didn't immediately follow him, but soon enough she went ahead and stood next to him.

"so, what's your biggest fear?" she asks, looking up at him once she was done asking the question. aryan smiles a little.

"oh definitely the dark." aryan answered quickly making mina sniffle a laugh. aryan looked towards her. "what? it's - it's common!"

"yeah you just don't seem like the type of guy to be scared of that." she said after laughing. aryan shrugged then had a smug look on his face.

"fine. then what's yours?" he asked, moving up one since the person in front of us moved. mina thought for a second.

"being alone. like with no friends or anything."  mina answered glancing at him and the back of the person's head in front of us.

"well I'll make that fear not happen." aryan answered with a shrug and a smile. he then teasingly pushed her.

she rolls her eyes with a smile. she couldn't help but wonder why she dreaded this date- i mean we're literally friends.

"you totally won't." she said sarcastically, before finally moving up to the front where they order.

"I'm sarah, and I'll be taking your order. what can I get you today?" the barista asks with a smile, getting ready.

"uh- I'll have a pumpkin spice latte please- in a venti." aryan spoke up first. the barista quickly got it done.

"and for you?" she asks with a smile, looking towards mina. mina breathes in before answering.

"a iced triple blonde espresso, venti- with 4 pumps of vanilla, extra splash of milk, and extra strawberry cold foam." mina answers. It was the cheapest thing she could think of. only five dollars and eighty cents.

"$11.70" aryan pulled out his wallet, and gave her a 20. "thank you, you can go wait at your booth." sarah says nodding towards the booth they were sitting in.

two walked back to the booth with a small smile. "favorite color?" he asks, sitting down on his same side.

"yellow obviously." she answered with a obvious look on her face. aryan rolls his eyes with a grin.

"mines green, if you couldn't tell." he said displaying the green sweater he was currently wearing. she laughs.

"my turn to ask a question!" she said excitingly. "team jess, dean, or logan." she says quickly.

"who's jess and logan?" he asked. minas mouth dropped slightly. "wait- I've watched the first season cause mckenna made me! i don't know who jess and logan are."

"okay- my place this weekend." she said still in disbelief. aryan shrugs his shoulders, already on the way to the counter where their drinks were.

he walks back and gives her the drink with a grin. "still have to thank me for paying." aryan said now sipping his drink.

mina groans sarcastically. "ugh, fine. thank you." she said with a smile. aryan puffs out his cheeks making her smile harder.
