bakugou sighed in relief as he soundlessly closed his notebook and set his pen aside, resting both his hands on the back of his head as his eyes started to wonder upon his dark room. if it wasn't for the nightlight by his desk, it would've been darker for him to see things clearly.

his wall clock read 2:19 am. he was certain that everyone's probably sleeping at this time already, including (y/n). since she was exhausted from their numerous spars with him and kirishima, she decided to take a rest at an early hour so that her energy's all the way up the next day. however, that didn't work on the ash blonde. instead of being sound asleep, he just sat there with no thoughts but her running inside his head, feeling no exhaustion at all.

with a groan, bakugou slapped both his cheeks with both hands simultaneously and heaved out another sigh. "she deserves a lot of rest, katsuki." he told himself. that is part of the reason why he can't fall into deep slumber. he misses her already. just hanging out with her the whole day caused him to feel like this, especially now that she was having her sweet time with her beauty sleep. he was so getting out of character, but he didn't care. if something can surpass his desire to be the number one hero that can outshine all might, it's gotta be showing his pure love towards her.

"you are being way too clingy, man." he told himself once again before letting out a small scoff and sweeping himself up from his sitting position. it was one exhausting day, even for him who didn't partake on many spars like (y/n) or kirishima, and there was only one thing that was able to help him regain his energy. being with her. he misses her in his tight hold. he could just cuddle with her the whole day if both of them agrees to it, but she was tired, so he let her be.

well, not until he heard a set of light knocks from his door. he cursed under his breath, not bothering to open the lights as he turned the doorknob and opened the door. there, he saw a half-asleep (h/c)nette that was currently in her pajamas, a pillow on her hand while the other was rubbing onto her half-lidded eye.

"something wrong, doll?" bakugou softly asks with a small smile now plastered on his face, like as if all his worries went away when his eyes landed on the cute display upon him. her hair was all over the place, but nevertheless, she looked adorable.

instead of answering his question verbally, (y/n)'s lips formed a pout as she turned her head away, a furious blush creeping up her face. she inhaled and gathered her courage to finally face the male. knowing that she was already there, she didn't have any choice left to pick. she heaved out a deep sigh before slowly locking the male into a tight embrace, her ear gently pressed on bakugou's chest to enjoy the sound of his steady heartbeat. her action took him aback, but he'd be lying if he said that he didn't enjoy the feeling of her arms circling his body.

"can i sleep with you?"
"anything for you, doll."
