"Best birthday ever!" Y/N exclaimed from the back seat, her eyes sparkling with the last traces of daylight. Jimin, sitting beside her, grinned and nodded in agreement.

"You deserve it," Jungkook said, glancing at Y/N through the rearview mirror, a smile tugging at his lips. "I’m glad you had fun."

As they continued down the desolate road, the forest grew thicker, the shadows deeper. Suddenly, the car jerked, then sputtered to a halt.

"What the—" Jungkook muttered, trying to restart the engine. But the car remained stubbornly silent. He sighed, leaning back in his seat. "Looks like we're stuck."

Jimin peered out the window, the darkening forest seeming more ominous with each passing second. "Of all places to break down," he murmured.

Y/N leaned forward, her voice a mixture of curiosity and concern. "What do we do now?"

Jungkook checked his phone, but the signal was dead. "We'll have to wait it out until morning, you both didn't took the phone and mine is out of charge." he said, trying to sound reassuring. "Or until someone drives by."

"Woah! What a timing!" Jimin and Y/n said groaning.

They stepped out of the car, the cool evening air wrapping around them like a shroud. The forest was eerily silent, save for the rustling of leaves in the gentle breeze. As they stood by the roadside, a sense of unease settled over them.

"We should stay close to the car," Jimin suggested, glancing around nervously. "It's safer here."

Y/N nodded, her earlier excitement now tempered by a growing apprehension. "Do you think we'll be okay?"

Jungkook put a reassuring arm around her shoulders. "We'll be fine. It's just one night."
