something seemed off as i entered the school gates. people stared at me, making me feel uncomfortable. i sped up.

"look, it's huiyin!"

i bit my lip and kept my head down.

at my locker, my friend mayako greeted me. "hi, huiyiiiin!"

i asked instantly, "why is everyone looking at me?"

she raised her eyebrow, "oh! you haven't heard?"

my heart raced. "no! tell me,"

"someone found out that jongho has a crush, and he won't tell. the fangirls who've been watching him suspect it's you... and they're not too happy about that." mayako informed me.

"i..." i sighed. "i can't do anything about that though."

she nodded and sighed as well. "i know, sorry. tell me if you need anything, love!"

mayako skipped away, leaving me in endless thought. how could i fix this? why me? does he really like me?

but one thing snapped me out of my thoughts, "hi, huiyin,"

i blinked hard, "jongho!"

he stood in front of me, looking extremely cute with his round glasses on today. he clutched his backpack straps. "hey,"

i nodded nervously, noticing that girls were watching us. would his fangirls suspect anything? probably...

"i... i'll talk to you later, jongho!" i quickly placed cupcake box into his hands before running off to class. hopefully, jongho isn't too confused.
